From our first consultation, they made me feel so comfortable and assured me, that I was in good hands. They knocked everything out of the ball park. I hired them for the day of coordination. The coordinators at our venue site, were coordinators from hell. I was so glad these ladies were there for rehearsal and for set up. They troubleshoot all problems and would only bother me if a decision needed to be made by the bride and groom. I didn't even know the things that went behind the curtains, but from family and friends that assisted us with set up. These girls made miracles happen. We had some issues with the set up at the venue site, and most of the problem came from the venue not being ready for the set up. These ladies, told me to go inside and not to worry about anything. They will take care of it. At this point we were an hour behind schedule due to the venue not having the space set up as agreed upon. They somehow magically had all set up done, with an extra 10 minutes to spare for me to take a look. There was a slight delay in the reception due to guests arriving late (go figure). They adjusted everything accordingly and reassured me to not stress out about it. The entire time, as they were setting up and troubleshooting, they constantly checked in on me and the groom. Making sure we were resting, eating, and drinking fluid. Once the dinner started, they ran everything flawlessly. I come from an Asian family, and I know my family is a tough cookie. The girls were actually able to handle my family, and make sure reception ran smoothly. It was so important to me to have Chinese speaking coordinators, because of the language barrier with family in case there was a problem. The girls handled it without a problem. Even till the end, which I'm sure they were beaten to the bone. They were professional and did everything with a smile. Their customer service and warm personality is what really made me choose them. I would not go with another set of coordinators, even if someone was to have paid me to. These girls are so knowledgeable and understand the ins and outs of a wedding. I knew I was in safe hands with my wedding. Don't look further, because you won't find another team that are more willing and capable of making your big day happen than Pink Martini Events.

SOME CONTRACTED TASKS Tali failed to provide, bungled or complete on time are listed and described below: -Tali BAILED in the MIDDLE of the Wedding Reception (before the cake cutting). -Unreliable -Tali cancelled multiple meetings LAST minute, then failed to call at the rescheduled time. -Final Venue Walkthrough: Tali was so out of check with the brides plans, she invited a "new vendor" to "upsale" her on unnecessary pieces and decor. -Arrived at Rehearsal with an incorrect timeline. -Did not provide the final headcount to the caterer, venue and other vendors or create the reception layout in CAD to provide to vendors. ADDITIONALLY: - Tali conspired with her "recommended" photographer @betsi-ewing to withhold photos of details that she and/or her "team" (of unpaid helpers) were not directly involved with. We have not seen these photos to date. This is an honest and partial list.

Now I'll admit that statement is rather harsh.  And I am the first to confess that no one is perfect (myself included) . We all make mistakes, come up short or fall through from time to time. Unfortunately as for our experience with Tali, this was a regular occurrence. We worked with Tali was 2 years ago in 2016, and much time has lapsed. However in all fairness to other brides out there looking for a wedding planner, I want to share details of our experience working with 'Pretty lil Details' to provide others with honest assessment. The positives of working with Tali were her vendors! Tali's recommend FLORIST was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!  And her referral for Furniture Rentals was perfect. It was also wonderful to have the extra sets of hands Tali provided with her assistants on the day of. The bride's family PAID IN FULL for only "partial services" - however everything that was contracted and paid for was NOT DELIVERED. Some of the contracted tasks that Tali failed to provide, bungled or complete on time are listed and described below: -------------- PRE PLANNING On NUMEROUS Occasions, Tali cancelled conference calls and meetings at the LAST minute, then failed to call altogether at the agreed upon rescheduled time (inconveniencing multiple participants). At the final walk through of the venue to finalize plans, Tali had been so out of check with the brides plans, that she unbeknownst to all other parties involved invited a "new vendor" in an apparent attempt to "upsale" her on unnecessary pieces and decor. Whether unwittingly or not, Tali lied saying that she had previously held events at the venue (she had NOT) as was evidenced by her impractical suggestions on the use of the space. This was also verified. Tali did not provide the final headcount to the caterer, venue and other vendors prior to the event,  and didn't even have the numbers to provide on the day of the wedding. (As Contracted) [Final #'s had been provided to Tali several weeks before.] Tali failed to create the reception layout in CAD to provide to vendors. (As Contracted) WEDDING REHEARSAL Tali arrived with an incorrect time line & schedule. While at the rehearsal venue, Tali attempted to task the Mother of the Bride with keeping all the bridesmaids on schedule for hair & makeup (for the wedding day). WEDDING RECEPTION Tali BAILED in the MIDDLE of the Wedding Reception (before the cake cutting). Leaving her unpaid and inexperienced assistants behind to do her job and clean up. (This resulted in my having to return to the venue [A 200 MILE ROUND TRIP -4 days Later] to finish clean up that Tali's assistants failed to complete at the end of the wedding.) Tali and her assistants failed to light the candles in the votives on all of the tables - TALK ABOUT MISSING 'PRETTY LIL DETAILS'! ------------------ There are other complaints that I could add to this list, but I believe I have made my point. I am sad to say that the Tali that we worked with was temperamental, fickle and dishonest.  I am not in the business and as a result, will never have a need to work with Tali Rivlin Ron again. However, I believe that the multiple reviews on Yelp, Wedding Wire and the like paint a false representation of every individuals experience; and would like the record to fairly reflect our experience. Beth was the Wedding Coordinator at our wedding a few weeks ago, and my wife and I are so happy…read morethat we decided to work with her. Beth was so cool, so helpful, and so kind. Our wedding day involved a location change from the ceremony location at First Congregational Church of LA to the reception location at The Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. Beth handled all the necessary ceremony coordination stuff like a true professional, and then without any issues she was able to zoom over to the reception venue to make sure that everything was set-up and ready to go before guests arrived. When we arrived at the reception, not only was everything so beautiful and perfect but Beth made sure to coordinate with the DJ and direct us for our grand entrance. She made sure to communicate with catering, the florist, and all the other vendors so that my wife and I could just enjoy our day. She even made sure that we were not bombarded by guests during dinner so that we could have time to eat. Throughout the rest of the night, she carried out the events of the agenda and really made everything seemless and stress-free. Honestly, I cannot image how different our wedding day would have been without Beth. She truly helped make it a success 100%!
