I really wanted to support this salon because during my first visit I was told business had been…read moreslow and they were trying to build clientele. That honestly made me want to come back and support them even more, especially for such a special occasion weekend. Unfortunately, my second visit was disappointing. Instead of feeling welcomed and appreciated as a returning customer, the whole appointment felt rushed. Having my nails done while getting a pedicure at the same time completely took away the relaxing experience a pedicure is supposed to be. The prices and add-on fees were also excessive. It seemed like there was an upcharge for everything, plus heavy pressure toward builder gel and larger tips. I don't mind paying for quality work or tipping generously when the experience matches the cost, but this visit simply did not. What salons need to understand is this is exactly how you lose good-paying, loyal customers. Most people don't mind spending money when they feel valued, relaxed, and receive quality service. But when customers leave feeling rushed, overcharged, and pressured, they usually don't return. If a salon is truly trying to grow its business, consistency, customer care, and making clients feel appreciated matters just as much as the work itself.

I've been going to this salon since it was recommended to me for over 3 years. My 1st visit was…read morejust as wonderful as the last one today! I normally ask for Holly (a very sweet lady) or Johnny (a young man who loves to pick on me), and most recently I've had Jay on several occasions when Holly and Johnny were unavailable. Holly knows I have to work standing up and she spoils me with extra leg rub time, and seeing this, Johnny won't be outdone. Tiffany knows my voice when she hears it and is always happy to hear me call. I cannot good about all the staff here. Just because I have MY favorites doesn't mean anything negative about the others! They are all wonderful. I feel so pampered and special at this salon, and since living in Wake Forest or North Raleigh, I've been to several. This is just the one that felt like my home nail salon! I hope to continue to visit them as long as I live in the area! I'd take a picture, but anyone who knows me will understand that my pictures are blurry!

This is the only nail salon I have tried in the Triangle that I consistently like. They have high…read morestandards and they train their staff properly. Nails look great every time no matter the service including gel, gel removal, regular polish, nail art, builder gel, nail repair, etc. It always looks good. Their prices are reasonable and they have a rewards program. They have a fridge with really nice drinks and snacks and plenty of hot tea as well. They have cute free-bees at the front like pins and hair accessories. I think they have wine but I don't partake. They have a huge selection of polish including my favorite OPI. Many polishes and all of them in good, new condition, not the dusty old dried up stuff you find in some of these places. And I really like all the staff and the atmosphere. Being there is pleasant. They also must not use certain types of harsh chemicals or maybe they have good ventilation because it never smells bad.

I decided to give Sen Nail Spa a try because they are new and conveniently located close to my…read morehouse. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. I initially got a new set with Will. There was some confusion because he misunderstood that I wanted tips, and after having difficulty getting the tips to adhere, he eventually buffed them and got them to stick. I specifically asked if they would be okay, and he assured me everything was fine. Within a week, I noticed my natural nails were lifting. I returned for a refill, and a different technician cut my nails down and glued my natural nails. Unfortunately, they began lifting again. I returned and saw Will again. Yesterday, he glued my nails down once more and applied a top coat. By the very next day, several of my nails were lifting again. I contacted the salon and was told to come in at 4:00 p.m. so they could fix them. I made the trip and waited nearly 30 minutes, only to then be told by someone at the front desk that I would have to PAY to have them fixed because their policy only covers repairs within seven days and I was on the ninth day. That was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I have now made multiple trips to the salon, spent a significant amount of time trying to get these nails fixed, and the same problem continues to happen. The work simply has not held up, and I don't feel I should be charged to correct a problem that has existed from the beginning. I understand having a salon policy, but there should also be some consideration for the circumstances, especially when the customer has repeatedly returned because the service was not properly holding up. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my time and money were wasted. I really wanted to like this salon and support a new local business, but based on my experience, I will not be returning.
