I was totally caught off guard when I took my daughter there for her Birthday for a nail spa (mani-pedi). They had a young lady who went around the salon asking you what you wanted done? What color? Gel? What shape? Cutback? She would ask you - leave - and then circle back around and ASK YOU AGAIN. This went on throughout the duration of our visit and nail treatments. She was beyond annoying and clients were letting her know she had already asked THREE TIMES. And, to top it off, she calls NE two hours after I have left and headed back to Cary. She told me she left "gel" off and could I come back and pay her?I will leave my answer to your imagination. Slow service. Annoying service. SO DISAPPOINTED. read more

Jasmine was removing dip powder from my nails and got some water to help soak it off. I put my hands into the water then immediately screamed and jumped out of the chair because the water was scalding hot! I've had my nails soaked off with hot water many times. Matter of fact, if I remove dip or gel x at home, I use hot water in a stainless steel bowl to keep it hot. This was not the same. Accidents happen, she got the water too hot. It was a mistake. Careless, but it was a mistake. I know she didn't intentionally burn me. It's not even the burn that is bothering me, it's how they handled it, which showed a complete lack of integrity or care for their customer. No one asked if I was ok (it hurt so bad I was in tears) no one apologized, in fact, Jasmine was giggling and said a few times that the water was only warm & my nails are just sensitive. What do my nails being sensitive have to do with burning my skin? The owner then came over and had her take photos of my hand. They immediately went into defense mode. I guess they thought I was going to sue them? That never crossed my mind, matter of fact, I stayed and got my nails done by a different technician and left pleased with my nails. The final insult to literal injury...they charged me $10 for the removal of dip powder that had been put on at their salon and I had never been charged for removal before. I paid it with no fuss, but to hurt a customer, laugh about it, then charge for it...well, this is not a business I'll be returning to. read more

I have gone to thus salon for many years and have always loved the service. Something has definitely changed because our experience today was horrible! The receptionist is inexperienced and very unprofessional. She kept bugging my mom and I during our visit about the exact services we were getting and she was writing down all the charges...and she still got it wrong after all of that. They are also short staffed and multiple people were waiting. Not a single person asked if we wanted something to drink or anything. The nail techs did an excellent job on my nails so no complaint there but ambience is everything! I will opt to go somewhere more professional and relaxing in the future. read more

Absolutely horrible nail S$:! shop!!!!!!! I will never go back. The first time me and my mom visited the nail shop, we asked for the price book the girl at the front desk notified us that they did not have a price book. I looked online and I noticed that the prices were available on their website. In person they tried to overcharge. I left and went to my normal nail shop. A week later, I decided to give them another chance as the nail shop is close to my house. Prior to the visit, I called them and asked if they are able to do my nails given the fact that they were about to close. They notified me to come by - someone will be available to do my nails and my mom. Once I walked in, the owner looked me up and down and asked me what I was getting. We notified her that we were getting a fill-in. She looked at our nails and said $60. I notified her that the website states $39. She stated " it depends"- with no further explanation. I said " you are scamming people by trying to double the price". She kept saying "$60", $60". I told her that I was not paying that price. What you are doing is fraudulent. She yelled "we are not doing your nails". After that, I started to record her. She started prancing and dancing around the nail shop - being giddy about the embarrassing statement she made. I told her that I will expose her on the Internet and report her business for scamming, fraudulent acts, discrimination, and unethical behavior of overcharging people. It seems like the business likes to " keep their pricing vague"- yet base their prices on "how much they want to make that day". Completely diabolical, unprofessional, and scammy business. If I could give a zero, I absolutely would. I HAD long, natural nails that I maintain with dip manicures. I informed the nail tech at the start of my service that I have natural nails, with the exception of one nail that I had previously broken and was waiting for it to grow back out. She asked if I wanted to cut my nails down, and I told her just a trim. She cut my nails clear off, down to the base, with the dip still on. At first, I was trying to convince myself that it wasn't that bad since I couldn't see it with the color still on. She wrapped my nails to soak the dip off and on to the toes... The tech informed me that my polish change was going to be $32, and we began. I informed her that my big toes have acrylic to fix a previous break, but the break was grown out, and I wanted the acrylic off so they could be trimmed down further. The manager came over to help and said it wasn't possible because my nail would be too weak, so I would have to wait until the acrylic was completely grown out... weird, but whatever. At this point, I knew I would never return to this salon, but the best (worst?) was yet to come. I get passed off to another tech. Admittedly, Marsella was absolutely lovely, and I am sorry that she has to work in such a place. She finished removing my dip, and I could finally see how short my nails were. She asked if I wanted them that short or if I wanted extensions. I told her that I hate them this short, and I want them longer, but the previous tech cut them clear off. I showed her how long my natural nails were when I walked in, and she was appalled. I told her that I want extensions, but I would not be paying for them. She attempted to rectify the situation and called over the owner, Jasmine. Jasmine placed the blame entirely on me. She claimed I had tips, I corrected her that I in fact did not, with the exception of one. She told me that I told the tech to cut them, I said yes I wanted them trimmed, but I didn't think I would ever have to tell an experienced nail tech to not completely cut off long, natural nails. She then said next time I come in, I need to tell them where to cut and that I would have to pay for my extensions today. I then said I will never return to this location and that I was done. I would pay for my polish change, but I was leaving. My polish change ended up costing $37... for what I don't know. And I walked out. Cutting off someone's natural nails and then trying to charge them for extensions is like cutting off someone's hair and then telling them we sell really nice wigs. I don't know how they stay in business. Save the headache and go LITERALLY anywhere else. read more

When did Salons start having a poor attitude toward non-gel manicures? Their poor attitude about my getting a regular non-gel manicure was obvious. They were not very friendly nor did they provide a slightly pampered experience. This was my first and last trip to this salon. When did nail salons start to charge an extra $1 for new OPI colors? The manicure was adequate, alas the hand massage was less than 5 min. for both hands. What's that about? Usually, the manicure treatment includes cuticle oil, my cuticles were still dry after my nail polish dried. And no nail fast dry spray either. These people need to take their manicure treatment up a notch or two. read more

I was excited to try this place. I've been looking for a new nail salon since moving to the area. The decor is beautiful and everything was clean however, this was by far the worst gel manicure I have ever received. I got my manicure on Friday and my nails started chipping as of yesterday(Monday) just like they would with regular nail polish. They chipped while I was doing normal daily activities such as washing my hair and doing dishes. I have been getting gel for years and have never had them chip before the 2-3 week period. I have never been so upset with a manicure before. Planned on going back at first but now I will not be going back and will be sure to let everyone know. read more

I wish I would have reviewed Yelp before coming to this place. I planned a Mami/Daughter day with my 7 year old for a mani/pedi. First Issue: The nail tech (BEN) was not patient with me and hit my foot with the UV light instead of communicating with me. My toe nails are lopsided. Second Issue: I paid an upcharge for some metallic polish and what I received is not what my daughter picked out for me. When I questioned it, a woman at the front told me that it will change outside. It did not. Third and most upsetting Issue: My daughter (7) got a manicure and on the same day during a bath her polish PEELS off like a sticker. There is NO way they used a top coat. The polish on her toes are just fine and I know there was topcoat applied because I saw the tech do it. But I should not have to HOVER over a "professional (PAUL)" to ensure that the proper steps are taken. They barely gave my daughter the needed boaster for the pedi seat. I HAD TO request that! Very poor service. This is not our first mani/pedi service so we know what quality services looks like for myself and my daughter. And their response to this claim was very disappointing. They offered to place gel polish for 14 more dollars. THEY ARE SUGGESTING TO PUT UV LIGHTS ON MY SEVEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FOR AN UPCHARGE. What type of establishment is this?!? I will never return to this location or any other location with a similar name in fear that this is ran by the same people. I'm so upset with my nails. I just got it done last Friday and the same day I had cracks all in my polish. I called to inform the salon of this and they asked me to send them photos. I sent the photos and they asked me to come in to fix it. I went in the next morning and the manager fixed the cracked nails. Now today, not even a week later I have new cracks in the Polish and the top layer of a couple of nails are peeling off. I don't even want them to fix it again, I'm so mad I wasted my money. i've been here multiple times and always have great service and appointments are very easy to get as well

I got a standard mani/pedi here about a week ago. I was headed out on a trip and wanted my nails done, although it's not something I do often. The staff was incredibly nice but when I was getting the pedicure, I became increasingly uncomfortable with the level of pain until eventually I had to shout out to the technician and tell her I was in extreme pain. She replied that I had an ingrown toenail, finished chopping into my skin and then dunked my bleeding foot into the bath. I now have an infection that has totally impeded my enjoyment of my trip abroad. I can't wear any of the shoes I packed and am limping even with tennis shoes and bandages on my toe. I am here for work and tennis shoes aren't acceptable in my office. I wish my technician had at least asked if I was comfortable getting my skin cut into. its hard to get treatment for the infection in the city I'm in as well so I'm hoping I don't create permanent damage before I can get back to the US. As of right now, I have a black and blue toe with a blood blister on the nail that's dripping with puss, even after 5 days with over the counter antibiotics. Proceed with caution read more

Never have I been charged extra for a fill in because of "lifting". I asked for a top coat of glitter polish on 2 nails and was charged $5 for Ombré. Got my eye brows waxed and my brows burned for hours after leaving. I should have looked at the yelp reviews and not given them the benefit of the doubt after my experience with the rude owner. I went the day after they opened and was expecting to need to extend a little grace for growing pains. It was very nice inside and every one I spoke to was very friendly. I got a gel manicure and the service itself was pretty standard. At the time, my main complaint was that a staff member's child was playing games or watching something on a tablet at a very high volume and it somewhat detracted from the relaxing atmosphere. I had already decided I likely wouldn't return just because the full-priced service (I got a grand-opening discount) seemed fairly steep to me at $35 for a basic gel mani. However, just 2 days after my service, a large chunk of the gel chipped off and by one week after, 3 nails had peeled off completely. I get gel for the sole purpose of having it last a while and have sometimes been able to make it 3+ weeks after going other places. It might be a fine place to get a pedicure with a few girlfriends, but I don't have the time or money to get my nails done weekly so I won't be back anytime soon. read more

Once finished with my pedicure they tell I have to wait 45 minutes until they can complete my service because an appointment showed up. WAIT...WHAT. I thought this was going to be great but it wasn't. I made reservations with my daughter and friend and when we walked in they seemed much less than thrilled that we were there. It wasn't even busy. They rushed through our mani/pedis as quickly as possible. I paid for my daughter to have a kid manicure- which was basically just them painting her nails while she was in the pedicure chair. And it was messy. I could have easily done what they did at home. The pedis were rushed. My dip powder looked awful. My friends gel nails were messed up before we even left. And it was expensive!!! I am difficult and picky when it comes to my nails. JASMINE wanted the feedback and spent the extra time to get it right! Miss Ann did a perfect pedicure. I live in WF but have been going to my main nail tech in Garner for years but this will be my new back up spot. Their receipt is itemized so you know exactly what you are paying for. Its conveniently located in a nice shopping center too with a Starbucks close by. My only feedback is that they speak a lot around you as a customer, looking at you and your hands/feet which may really bother some people. Overall pleasant visit. read more

It upsets me to give a bad rating during such a hard time for small businesses, especially since I went here all the time pre-covid. I did go one other time back in June 2020. They checked everyone's temperatures and had you fill out a waiver, very impressive and felt comfortable coming back! Flash forward to this week, I went in for a gel manicure only to be greeted by a girl with no mask anywhere in sight. She told me to pick a color then sat me down at a station that I JUST watched someone get up from and they did not clean prior to taking me over. THEN another girl without a mask comes to do my nails and only puts her mask on upon me asking. She then took the nail clippers she just used on me sprayed them with "alcohol" and threw them back in the drawer, meanwhile all of the remaining employees in the salon are now hovering over me WITHOUT masks on talking to each other. Then to make matters worse my nails chipped 4 days later. I went back to the salon to get the nail fixed only for the women to tell me it's not their fault my nail chipped and I really should be more careful with my thumbs? Because I had to have been doing too much for it to chip. Which fine, maybe, but I had been working on the computer all day when I noticed the chip. She did not even take the time to redo the whole nail, but rather put a dot of polish over the chip and sent me on my way. Needless to say, the no masks in the middle of a pandemic is NOT ok but on top of that visibly not cleaning your equipment is not ok pandemic or not. read more

Then when I ask if they can scrub my heels a bit firmer for my callus (since that's part of the pedi already) she said she was gonna charge me $10?! So I normally never leave bad reviews even if my experience is awful because I try to give grace. This was by far the WORST experience I have EVER had getting my nails done. The technician barely spoke to me during my service and I had other technicians hovering over me. Literally not even four hours after my service my nails started to chip and crack (I got SNS on my natural nail). Fast forward to 6 PM the following day 6/10 of my nails had either chipped or cracked. I return to the salon and simply asked for my money back because I did not want them to repair the nails. They told me it was only one nail (literally showed them all my nails) and they couldn't refund my money only fix the problem. Again I didn't want to sit through the awkwardness and have crappy nails again so I just left without my money and crappy nails because they wouldn't refund my money. My husband surprised me by setting up an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. I am really bad at making time for self-care and he wanted to ensure I took a break. I went in a few minutes early and checked in. They have a tablet up front to check in and it was super easy. Then, I went to look at colors. After choosing them, I sat down and the workers started talking to each other. One came over and asked what I was there for. I said that I had a 1pm appointment and she said she would be back. They spoke some more and she came back to say they had someone go home sick and they can't take me. She said I could wait until they were done, which would be about 30 minutes or come back in an hour and a half. I told them I would just go ahead and reschedule for a different day, but will not be back. All they had to do was call or text (they take your number when they make the appointment) and I would have understood but to make me drive there and wait to be told they didn't have time for me is really disappointing. read more
