So 20 minutes later, I'm at her place getting groomed. I was back in my car after another 20 minutes. She was fast. Which was surprising to me considering I haven't been waxed in a long time. This was my first time sugaring and it was better than I expected. Since I haven't waxed in awhile, I was pretty embarrassed. But Viktoria made me feel comfortable. This isn't a typical salon, but she keeps it clean. This is not a typical spa experience, and the location wasn't what I was expecting. Sugarland is more like going over to your girlfriend's house for some grooming help. I saw her changing her gloves when she needed to get more from the jar, so that was reassuring in terms of cleanliness. While I was changing, she already started removing the disposable liner and spraying down the table already. I was actually surprised at the smoothness of my skin afterwards. I guess I'm hooked on sugaring. It's more than I'd like to pay compared to regular waxing (eg. $50).... But I think sugaring is better for my skin. I will be requesting more appointments in the future.

I have never had professional hair removal done and had been handling "Hollywood" all on my own. Now that I'm aging, it's become more difficult and I needed to find a natural solution and professional who could become a keeper. I did my Yelp homework and found all the raving reviews on Ky'. Pain is beauty ladies. Ky' really did well with distracting me with great conversation during an hour of what started to feel like punishment. She is meticulous grabbing every strand of hair in sight. The result is flawless. So fresh. So clean. Not as painful as a natural birth however. Sugaring is the method of using a combination of sugar and lemon that is made into a putty. It basically looks like slime and used to rapidly yank hair in the opposite direction of its growth. Once we were done with the black head removal and ingrown hairs, she applied a Hungarian mud mask to my skin and I got to relax. Ky' is such a ball of energy and a beautiful spirit ! She made me feel so relaxed and the outcome feels amazing. I can't wait to return and to have beautiful bikini line for summer.

After calling and leaving a message, she was quick to return my call. It was like others had said. She was easy to talk to and it was if we had known one another forever. I scheduled with April and arrived for my appointment, with no issues. She treated me for about 45mins and was most pleasant the whole time. Again, her bedside manner is spectacular. She made mention that she had elderly family members and that she may have to abruptly cancel, should something come up with them. I get that. Life happens. I scheduled using the app for my follow up appointment for a Saturday. The day before said appointment, Ms. April called and left me a message that she was going to have to reschedule because it was her birthday, and her kids were taking her on a surprise getaway...Again, I get that (although professionalisms would have called for the kids to check the schedule...first blatant red flag). However, what I didn't and don't get is how one could just blow a client off. Rescheduled my appointment, again through the app for that Monday. I text her and sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes. After texting again and calling with no response, I got out the car and approached to knock on the door. The lights were on, and I could see that someone was in the office space. I went back to call again. Still, no response. It has been a week and a half. I still have not heard back from Ms. April. If she thought my case too difficult or just didn't want to pick up new clients, I surely wish she would have simply said so. It would have saved us both a lot of time. Luckily, I was so distraught after letting all my hairs grow out in preparation for my treatment (only to be stood up) that I ended up calling back the Electroliysis in Cary. She has given me a straight forward plan of attack for my treatment plan, unlike Ms. April who told me to "pick a side" that I wanted to work on when I came back. Maybe I dodged a bullet? Just be leery! She is definitely a kind person, but less than reliable.

Her prices are virtually unmatched for the service you receive. First time customers can get a Brazilian for $25 and regular price is $39! Now if you've ever gotten a Brazilian Wax you know it can be hella awkward, uncomfortable, and sometimes even painful, but TJ does an amazing job. She is extremely professional and has a great bedside manner. She makes you comfortable from start to finish. Although I have high pain tolerance I still find her to be much less painful than other waxes I've had in the past. This location is in a small shopping center off Glenwood Avenue, but away from the busy Crabtree area. Parking is shared with the other businesses, but I've never had an issue getting a park up front. I highly recommend and plan to return!

One of them was over an hour late so they gave me a free service. The last time I went , I notified them that I wanted to stop my membership. I was told that sometimes it takes 30 days. I was told in the beginning that if a credit card did not work because I knew this one was gonna expire what would happen and they said that they would call me and get a different form of payment. Instead, they took it upon themselves to go into my personal checking account that I had used once in their location to pay a tip.
