The cake (2 flavors) is not only delicious but EXCEEDED my expectations in appearance. Gina is always easy to communicate with and is such a freaking INCREDIBLE artist. Same for the cinnamon roll. Even after 6 hours and starting to dry out a little, STILL yummy. The sourdough loaf is magnificent. The quiche was for my wife. We both ordered a turkey sandwich to go...the bread was so fresh and delicious and made with quality ingredients and I might add that they were not stingy with the amount of avocado they loaded on the sandwich! We also bought a loaf of Meyer lemon Rosemary sourdough to go, which I highly recommended. You can tell by the great customer service and goods baked to perfection, that this bakery takes a lot of pride in the work they do! I will definitely be back to try more!

I asked for a beach theme cake- she gave me ideas such as a faded blue color that'll represent the beach. I didn't get any pictures before hand so I left it up to her design. I sent her a picture of a beach cake from the Internet but she said she didn't get it (huh?). My cake has a very faint blue hue that barely can be noticed and the sea shells she decorated the cake weren't realistic looking- they were pastel colored- the cake looked to me like a kids decor for Easter. I was expecting a grown up looking decor- I fixed it up though with more sea shells (real ones) to make it more adult and serious looking decor. She was kind enough to come back to see if she could help fix it which I appreciate it. Overall her cake was delicious but I thought she could of put more attempt to making it look spectacular for a wedding cake.

I ordered a custom birthday cake and paid $117 upfront through Zelle…read more After I sent the payment, the owner informed me she no longer had access to that Zelle account. She said she would contact her bank and still confirmed my order. Just two days before my daughter's birthday party, the owner told me her family had norovirus and offered to either make the cake or cancel with a full refund. I appreciated her honesty and chose to cancel since the cake would be served to many children. Having to find a replacement cake only two days before the party caused me a great deal of stress, a parent planning a large birthday celebration, this added unnecessary pressure during an already busy time. Despite that, I remained understanding because I knew her family's illness was beyond her control. The owner asked for other ways to refund me, I sent her my Venmo information and she promised my refund would be sent "in the next couple of days." More than a week later, I still have not received my $117 refund despite multiple polite follow-up messages. I also contacted my bank, but they explained they couldn't dispute the payment because it was successfully sent to her Zelle account. Since the recipient banks with a different financial institution, they couldn't investigate what happened after the funds were received. What frustrated me the most throughout this experience was the lack of communication. I never knew if or when I would receive a response. Sometimes I had to follow up just to get an update, and now my messages have gone unanswered altogether. A simple update would have gone a long way. I understand emergencies happen, and I genuinely appreciated the owner's honesty about her family's illness. However, promising a refund, acknowledging the payment issue was their responsibility and then failing to communicate or issue the refund has been very disappointing. As of today, more than a week after she promised to send my refund, I am still waiting to receive it and have not received any communication from her. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this bakery at all.
