She was incredibly rude, passive-aggressive, and NEVER once apologized for THEIR mistake. When I asked for her name, she made sure to announce that she was a supervisor, but I think she was just a b****. What kind of supervisor makes a comment about pulling a chocolate cake out of her a** in front of customers? I genuinely couldn't believe what I was hearing. The worst part wasn't even that they gave away the cake. It was how little Holly seemed to care. There was no empathy, no accountability, and absolutely no professionalism. She acted as though we were the problem when all we wanted was the cake my sister had already paid for. I have worked with people long enough to know that mistakes happen, but there is absolutely no excuse for treating customers this way. I hope the owners seriously reconsider who they have representing their business because Holly's behavior was embarrassing and completely unacceptable.

We couldn't decide on a pie, so we got 6 slices because we wanted to try a variety of flavors. Lunch filled us so much that we took the pie pieces to go. They were all delicious. My favorite was a tie between the cherry cobbler and banana cream. We also ended up shopping for snacks. Every purchased was very good. We will definitely stop here again on our way to north Tahoe.

She said she would contact her bank and still confirmed my order. Just two days before my daughter's birthday party, the owner told me her family had norovirus and offered to either make the cake or cancel with a full refund. I appreciated her honesty and chose to cancel since the cake would be served to many children. Having to find a replacement cake only two days before the party caused me a great deal of stress, a parent planning a large birthday celebration, this added unnecessary pressure during an already busy time. Despite that, I remained understanding because I knew her family's illness was beyond her control. The owner asked for other ways to refund me, I sent her my Venmo information and she promised my refund would be sent "in the next couple of days." More than a week later, I still have not received my $117 refund despite multiple polite follow-up messages. I also contacted my bank, but they explained they couldn't dispute the payment because it was successfully sent to her Zelle account. Since the recipient banks with a different financial institution, they couldn't investigate what happened after the funds were received. What frustrated me the most throughout this experience was the lack of communication. I never knew if or when I would receive a response. Sometimes I had to follow up just to get an update, and now my messages have gone unanswered altogether. A simple update would have gone a long way. I understand emergencies happen, and I genuinely appreciated the owner's honesty about her family's illness. However, promising a refund, acknowledging the payment issue was their responsibility and then failing to communicate or issue the refund has been very disappointing. As of today, more than a week after she promised to send my refund, I am still waiting to receive it and have not received any communication from her. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this bakery at all.

I love each cake I have ordered. All I've done is share flavor profiles of interest and an inspiration picture of what I am looking for, and when I get the cake, it is beyond my wildest dreams.. To book with here is easy. She has a website where you can input the dates and inspiration photos. She will contact you by email to confirm or answer any questions you have, and once everything is finalized, she will send you an invoice. Her price is generous for the amount of work she puts into her cakes. For the 3 cakes I've ordered, I've also gotten delivery with them. She will communicate and confirm everything before delivery. I am beyond thankful I found her because she truly is the best. For the last 2 delivered cakes, she also provided some leftover pastries she made. I got to sample her millionaire shortbread (absolutely delicious), her oatmeal cookies, brownies, and carrot cake loaf. For the 2 birthday cakes I ordered, they were white cake with cinnamon buttercream frosting. OMG, to die for. It's so moist and not too sweet. The cinnamon is not overbearing and adds a nice razzle dazzle to the cake. The wedding cake was a 2-tier cake, with one layer being red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the other being white cake with cinnamon frosting and vanilla buttercream frosting on the outside. It was a hit; there was some leftover cake after the wedding, and people immediately found a box to take it home. None of her frosting tastes artificial. You can tell she uses quality ingredients. I love her work and her delicious cakes. I recommend Stacie 1000 times over!
