I've been to a few nail salons before, but my nail artist, Jo, really stood out. She took her time shaping my nails and paid close attention to detail. I requested gel extensions with multiple designs, and the total came out to $118. Considering the level of detail and the time she spent, almost 2.5 hours, I definitely think it was worth it. The process was a bit long (my back was definitely feeling it by the end), but I'm so happy with how my nails turned out, perfect for graduation! Despite its modest interior and strategically positioned fans during the summertime, I will go here to get my usual mani pedi over the ritziest massage chairs and spa grade foot tubs. What puts them over the rest is the quality and prices. They're cash only so that allows them the competitive prices. They also take Zelle so you don't have to fumble in your wallet post manicure for cash. I usually get polishes with fun colors so I don't bother with gel, so I can take it off within a few weeks or so. Every single tech there (Tina and April come to mind but there's also two more whose names escape me at the moment) can polish my fingernails and toe nails and dry them in 45 min flat, with nary any texture on the nail surface. They also can do the artificial nail, tips, gel, and powder and other aesthetician services I haven't tried. On top of the great work, it's served with a smile. It's like going to a family party. You lowkey get a mini therapy sesh while they massage your feet, hands, and forearms. What really touches me is that they don't push extra services on you. The customer service is the real icing on the cake. As I write this review I'm already planning to go back, so word of warning to call for an appointment as they can take only walk ins if you time it right. And that already tells you enough about them as it is.

She replied, "I know, sorry," and then laughed about the situation. The issue was not the wait itself, it was the lack of communication, disregard for my scheduled appointment, and the unprofessional response when I asked for clarification. If the salon was running behind schedule, a simple explanation and realistic wait time would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor first impression. Other providers did not answer all my questions and just asked if i had an appointment. Often many salons say they have OPI and to find they may only have 5-10 colors. Tick Tick had ALL the OPI colors on hand! I usually bring my own in case they only have few. Many salons use their generic polishes which is not as high quality. Tick Tick even uses top quality nail base by Orly which is what i personally use. I shared my experience with my husband and he too went for a mani pedi and very pleased.
