Honestly I went once over a year ago (oops...maybe I should go back. Gotta see if she takes my new job's health care) but the point is she would be where I'd start for another appointment. I can't really go into specifics since it's been a while. And I've had a few eye doctors over my life so she did everything I expect in an exam. It was a good exam, I got what I needed, the office looked nice and clean, there was enough room for parking. I also like that she has a couple of late nights and weekend appointments. That's a BIG plus in my book. If she's in your network, give her I try. I will again.

Dr. Scaramia worked with me to get the best contact lens combination possible. We tried one brand that wasn't great, then the doc put me in a brand of contacts that are wonderful for my dry eyes. Then we tried several lenses, 2 in the left eye and 4 in the right, to ensure I was getting the best prescription. The follow-up visits were at no charge, so it's obvious that this doctor truly cares about his patients and what is best for them. Beyond his infinite patience, Dr. Scaramia is also kind, friendly, and terrific at explaining his process. I highly recommend Dr. Scaramia.

However I was so disappointed in my new Dr that this year I said screw it, I'll pay to see Dr Scaramia again! So happy I did! Worth the $125 contact lens exam and fitting! He is super nice, takes his time to discuss everything with you and answer all your questions! He never once rushed me and I literally wanted to hug him when I was leaving, but I didn't lol. Although located in the Costco warehouse, you don't need to be a member to visit him, but you do need to be a member if you wish to purchase your contacts or lenses through their optical department. I have been to the office multiple times and often find myself thinking that this is the model of how a doctor's office should be run. My first time there I had a minor eye emergency. It was almost 5:00 PM. I called a few spots and no one would take me because it was too late. Dr. Radtke and her staff stayed late specifically to make sure I was treated that day. If she hadn't I probably would have been in the emergency room all night. For prompt, thorough, and courteous treatment look no further.

Although I was definitely a bit nervous about how they would turn out without seeing a sample of his idea, he looked at me and said "Trust me, they're gonna look terrific- you have to trust me on this." Appt call: the office mgr had no idea what she was doing and she did not create a file for me nor gathered my benefits. Appt Day: since no file, I had to give the mgr my name and member information no less than three times in 15 mins. She had a week to get my benefits but did not. Wasted my time and optometrist was sitting right there and said nothing. She behaved as though she was above all that. Glasses Retrieval: 1) they did not get the transition option with my glasses even though it was charged to my insurance. 2) They put a reading prescription on my main glasses and 3) a short distance prescription on the other one. I mean whhhhyyyy? Both glasses are to be used by me for the same reason (I can't see far distances) so why have diff scripts for each? Then they blamed me for that so I told BOTH of them off and used some choice language. I returned both glasses and got a refund. Don't blame me for your lack of professionalism and dereliction of duty. Filed a complaint with my insurance and with the state board of optometry. Seems this optometrist has a history of doing the wrong thing with patients and getting away with it. There are patients who don't know better so it is up to the professionals to do right by patients by dr Elena Vitezon has shown she is not a nice or kind person nor does she care about patients.
