They take extra time with my cuticles as I am a cuticle bitter and never say anything about the extra time it takes to achieve their standard of perfection. The artwork each of them do is unique and beautiful. I also had microblading done on my eyebrows by Kim. The compliments I get when I tell people they are microblade are endless. People can't believe how natural they look. Again Perfection. Shades itself is a beautiful salon, that is exceptionally clean, and they ensure a safe environment with your own tools for mani's and pedi's.

Some were great for a short while but after some time started falling short of my standards. That has not been the case here. I have been booking services at Lavo for around 5 months now and my nails have never looked better. For starters, they have an all-star receptionist. She is so kind and helpful and on top of her job! They are a very busy salon and yet I never have trouble booking an appointment. They are as accommodating as can be. Even when they miss my phone call, I instantly receive a call or text back. I have been serviced by several nail technicians and they are all so very talented. I never bother booking with a specific tech because I know that no matter who I see, they will do an amazing job I was recommended doing soft gel manicures and it has been the best decision ever made. My career is very physical so i would often have a lot of wear and tear on my nails but not with soft gel. The gel polish never chips and my nails have never been stronger. I am usually able to go 4 weeks with my nails still looking great but ready for a fill. I love this salon and as long as I live within a drivable distance I will never change. They are cash or zelle/venmo only. So be prepared. And in my opinion they are charging fairly for services considering the quality of the work. Thanks Lavo!

I was subsequently banned from receiving services. My recommendation remains the same: managerial training would be beneficial. You can find training in YouTube. according to your own response , you leadership style comes across as dictatorial and dismissive of a customer review. Regardless of the number of employees managed, professionalism, communication, and emotional control are essential in any leadership role. The business was originally built by your father, who treated both customers and employees with professionalism and respect. When customers are banned for providing feedback, it reflects poorly on the culture of the business and ultimately impacts both customers and staff. In case you are not aware, there are many businesses that offer the same services. This is not about losing a customer, but about losing the opportunity to receive constructive feedback that helps a business improve. As a former loyal customer, I also recall overhearing workplace discussions during services that involved concerns from employees, including conversations related to their tip handling and management practices. These were not isolated comments, and they contributed to a broader impression of employee dissatisfaction. When internal concerns become visible to customers, it is worth reflecting on workplace culture and communication. If private conversations are not properly managed in a public-facing environment, customers will inevitably hear things that were not intended for them. I experienced this firsthand while receiving services. Reviews are intended to highlight experiences and opportunities for improvement. Responding to feedback by banning customers instead of addressing concerns does not minimize the fact of your poor managerial skills, in the contrary, is expose and supported by yourself. I am the perfect example on how your ego gets in the way. Instead of acknowledging the review, by a simple "thank you for the review, I'll be mindful next time." You are now sacrificing the earning of one of your employees because you ego got in the way . Unfortunately, when he's not present, there are serious issues with appointment scheduling. On two separate occasions, the other male employee made appointments for us, only to later say he forgot about another client who was already booked. Both times, we were turned away without any real effort to accommodate us. This has been especially frustrating because my mom recently had knee surgery, and it's not easy for her to keep going back and forth for appointments that were supposed to be confirmed. It shows a lack of organization and consideration for customers' time and situations. We truly appreciate Danny and the way he runs the salon when he's there, but the inconsistency when he's not present makes it difficult to rely on scheduled appointments. I hope this issue gets addressed because the salon has great potential with the right management in place.
