As a fellow artist, tattoo collector, and aspiring tattooist, I've been to my fair share of tatto shops. I've met various people in the business and had a variety of experiences. My experience at Blind Tiger stood out above all others. The guys were fun to be around, easy to talk with, and very personable. Ty was very open to my onslaught of questions and offered up his knowlege and experiences freely. I can't begin to explain how valuable that is to another artist. Although a client, he treated me and my fiancè like we were old friends. He went out of his way to make our trip memorable. He took us to a little breakfast cafe around the corner to eat and talk before starting the 7 hour ordeal. He worked without taking needless breaks to smoke or chat he was very respectful of our time. Eric handeled his clients with respect and compassion. I got to see him interact with a client who was getting their fist tattoo and a difficult client who didn't get a tattoo. In both cases Eric was professional but would not yeild his integrity. The first timer walked away with a tattoo that was much better, asthetically, than her original idea and had a more tasteful look and placement. I was not only impressed by the people but also the shop. It was very clean, well lit, and inviting. The tattoo area was cosy but not crampt and the lobby was spacious without being intimidating. We were there from open to close and at no point did i get the notion we had overstayed our welcome. I would recomend this buisness to anyone be they a seasoned collector or a first timer. read more

As a tattoo artist myself, I'm very picky when it comes to choosing artists. I've been on an epic journey with Ty McEwen for quite some time now. He's been working on a BioOrganic sleeve on my arm and I'm blown away by how its been going. I only have another session or so to finish it, and can't wait to get back in there. I fly in from San Diego for each session, and always have a great experience. The guys there are truly pushing their craft to extreme levels. It feels great to walk into a spotless shop and relaxed environment; it's always comfortable and I know i'm in good hands. When the crew isn't tattooing, its cool to see them drawing or painting rad stuff. I highly recommend any clients seeking QUALITY work in a chill atmosphere to check out the shop. I loved getting tattooed at blind tiger. I got tattooed by Ty Mcewen who does amazing bio/organic work. The vibe was super Mello the whole time I got tattooed which makes a big difference. I've worked in shops that are too loud and obnoxious and I always felt bad for the people getting tattooed. A Mello environment is always ideal while getting work done. All the artists at blind tiger did great work and were friendly. As a tattooist and collector I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get their next custom tattoo. read more

Ivan was so accommodating and was able to squeeze me in the same day I requested. He took the time to draw up a few ideas and have them ready to go before I even got there.
