I have an entire sleeve, a half sleeve, and tattoos on my legs now and I've never had as terrible of an experience as I had here. I love the piece that my cousin custom designed for me but I'm truly so disappointed to say I regret the tattoo deeply just based on how bad the experience was and how bad the tattoo is. Just save your money and time give it to an artist with a lighter hand and better attitude.

Artistic Tattoo is an old school style tattoo parlor. There are lots of flash sheets on the wall and ceiling. While looking at various shop Instagram pages, I came across Artistic Tattoo. A new design for January's Friday 13th promotion was exactly what I was looking for... and then some. Unlike shops with long lines for tiny tattoos, Artistic Tattoo's Friday 13th event had palm size and up tattoos. Reservations were required for the event. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, as I had been instructed to. I was called back before my appointment time. Joseph Leary was my tattoo artist. There were two spots I was considering having the tattoo done. Joseph went over the pros and cons of both spots. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was happy with the placement of the tattoo. This tattoo hurt less than my previous ones. I was waiting to see the (mostly) healed products before writing my review. The tattoo out beautifully. I am so incredibly happy with it. Second Skin was used rather than plastic wrap. This drastically helped speed up the healing process. Joseph knows what he is doing. His 15 years in the business gives him a wealth of knowledge only obtained through experience. He understands the importance of quality and customer service. Quality work gets people talking. That talk brings in more business. I would not hesitate to get another tattoo from Joseph.

I found her on IG and sent an idea and she got back to me with a sketch pretty soon after! She was more than willing to make adjustments when I asked, and I felt very comfortable going into the appointment. The tattoo shop itself has a strong community feel, the artists are like family and they let you into that even as a customer! I found myself chatting with the other artists and even other customers, checking out each others' ink. I've gotten tattooed before at another shop and I have to say the bed I was laying on this time was WORLDS better than the last, it was extremely comfortable. Everything felt very clean, but not sterile like a doctor's office! The shop is beautiful, the walls are filled with stencils, and the artists all have their own stations decorated. Love the location too, right on Central and by other awesome local businesses. I will definitely be back!

I'm ok with a bit of that, but when you charge $120 for 3 inch line work I'm a bit hesitant. I understand, Noah, you have children to support and you've just opened your own studio. A gentle word of advice, listen maybe a bit more to customers. You have the privilege to display your incredible talent on a living canvas. Please be more accommodating. My short term memory is bad.
