I got a double helix piercing here and instantly had issues. I texted the piercer who gave me her number and she doesn't know how to communicate very well. I texted her telling her I was having issues and concerns and if she had any recommendations to help my healing process. She then texted me random stuff that made no sense, and I think was supposed to be sent to someone else, but was a bit concerning. She said "come in, I need to see you, I forgot to mention...." and "I need to talk to you" and it was a bit scary and concerning. I then responded "what's going on, is something wrong with my piercings, did you do something wrong" (me thinking she screwed up and doesn't want to tell me over text), she then said "just come in, I need to tell you something". So, I go in explain the situation how the piercings have not improved and how they hurt really bad, and she glanced at them for a second, and then says "they look fine, that's normal". I brought up the text messages and she disregards it, so me thinking everything is fine, I leave. Over the course of the year and a half, I've had issues with the piercing, itching, irritation, pus, blood, possibly infection. I have other piercings, so I know proper care and hygiene for them. Over a year later, they still have not healed and I go to a new piercer elsewhere to show her what I'm dealing with. First of all, she takes 1 look, and immediately, "they're infected". She looks at the jewelry and the post was too small and tight, preventing the piercings from being able to heal, she inspects the jewelry that was used and confirms that not only was it sized incorrectly, but the jewelry was low quality and cheap and I was having a reaction to it. She immediately does some cleaning and care and gives me options on what I can do. She was great! After having a good experience else where It opened my eyes to what a horror show this place is. I thought i would be fine to get some piercings done here because my friend has had his nose done here, possibly more piercings done but I'm not sure, and he had not complaints. But I definitely did not have a great experience. So I'm definitely disappointed in this place considering how great the piercer thinks they are and how they advertise themselves on social media, it's false and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you want a good piercer, I have heard that Halo is good, and Htc Studios is great! I've had some stuff done by HTC studios and the are super friendly and CLEAN! If I'm being honest, I don't think this place is necessarily the cleanest, but that could just be personal, since I have very high standards for cleanliness, especially after going to HTC and my other piercing shop, I have new expectations for piercing and tattoo shops. I'm not trying to be mean, but after what I went through here, I'm concerned for others, as my piercer was concerned for me when she saw what I was dealing with.
