I can only book Saturdays and given the nature of his cancellation, I think it's reasonable to make an exception. Nope. He was not even apologetic. Complete disrespect of my time. Honestly, I would not recommend booking with him for this reason alone.

SO EMBARRASSED! Thank God I found another artist/shop who was HONEST about their style, does coverups, and is going to make it what I wanted. BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. A new design for January's Friday 13th promotion was exactly what I was looking for... and then some. Unlike shops with long lines for tiny tattoos, Artistic Tattoo's Friday 13th event had palm size and up tattoos. Reservations were required for the event. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, as I had been instructed to. I was called back before my appointment time. Joseph Leary was my tattoo artist. There were two spots I was considering having the tattoo done. Joseph went over the pros and cons of both spots. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was happy with the placement of the tattoo. This tattoo hurt less than my previous ones. I was waiting to see the (mostly) healed products before writing my review. The tattoo out beautifully. I am so incredibly happy with it. Second Skin was used rather than plastic wrap. This drastically helped speed up the healing process. Joseph knows what he is doing. His 15 years in the business gives him a wealth of knowledge only obtained through experience. He understands the importance of quality and customer service. Quality work gets people talking. That talk brings in more business. I would not hesitate to get another tattoo from Joseph.

Dan is incredibly talented, patient, and accommodating. The studio has an awesome atmosphere whether you're there for a quick session or spending an entire day in the chair. If you need a distraction, there's great music playing, TVs with streaming services, and plenty to keep your mind occupied. If you'd rather talk, Dan is easy to spend hours chatting with, making long sessions fly by. What really sets North Mountain Tattoo apart is the culture. The other artists are always welcoming and friendly. You'll often see them stopping by to ask Dan's opinion on a piece, share ideas, or talk excitedly about upcoming projects. It's clear everyone there genuinely loves what they do, and that passion shows in both the artwork and the environment they've created.
