I think this is the first negative review I have ever given on Yelp or anywhere so that should tell you something about the experience i have had with this company. I won't add ill words or warnings, I will just let you read about my experience and decide for yourself.
The first time I had someone come out to take measurements for the estimate for my project they were over an hour late. Then the person who came out wrote everything down wrong-literally everything-and as a result, the first estimate they sent was over a thousand dollars off.
When I called the number provided in the email, the guy I spoke with had zero idea who I was, what property I was talking about, or what was going on. It took me 45 minutes to explain everything to him, and he kept using this blind-specific jargon, and I had to keep reminding him that I didn't know product names and numbers. I asked him to send me a new estimate and was promised one the following morning at the latest, and never received anything.
Two weeks later when I followed up they didn't remember my project again-or even speaking with me and promising me a new appraisal. Further, they still did not have a new estimate ready for me. I had to explain the entire thing all over again, to a different person entirely, who made me repeat the same exact details at least three times over because she didn't understand. I felt unheard and expressed with her that I was super frustrated but agreed to give them one more opportunity to keep my business since I had already wasted so much time with them.
They needed to have someone come back out to the unit a second time and re-do the appraisal to take the measurements properly and figure out what windows needed what. Since I own the space but don't live there, I asked them to call me when they were on the way, which they agreed to do. The window for the appointment was from 8-9AM and I received a call at 8:50AM stating that the person was at the property. I told them I would get there as soon as possible, but that I lived in a different part of town. When I was five minutes away, I received another phone call from the administrative assistant who asked how long I was going to be-twice, and stated that she was going to have to let their appraiser leave, because he had another job to get to, even though he said it was his fault in the first place because he "didn't read the paperwork" and therefore didn't know to give me a heads up. When I got there, the appraiser was on the phone and wouldn't even acknowledge me, and then was incredibly short with me and rude-and I felt extremely uncomfortable being around him.
Perhaps the worst part of all of this is that when I emailed the administrative assistant to discuss what happened and my frustrations with all of the above, she replied with a condescending message, failed to apologize or address any of my grievances, and wished me good luck finding someone else to work with. So putting this out into the universe. Hope you can learn from my mistakes! Overall I felt like a horrible person because I kept getting so frustrated with them, and then I had to remind myself that anyone would be equally frustrated in my shoes. read more
