It's in quite the unsuspecting location and if you didn't know it was there, you may walk right by. The owner was very kind and explained the whole menu. I will absolutely be back for more again very soon!

This charming little spot is part deli, part market, part sandwich shop--and total perfection. They carry Italian specialty goods, fresh produce, hot and prepared meals, and a deli case full of deliciousness. Whether you're grabbing a jar of house-made sauce, some sliced salami, or a meatball hoagie, you're in for something special. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they know how to craft a seriously good sandwich. I stopped by on a Wednesday--which is when they get a delivery of fresh focaccia bread--and tried the sandwich of the day: steak, peppers, onions, and melty cheese on onion focaccia. It was unreal--I couldn't put it down. Don't skip the homemade desserts either. The magic bars (a rich blend of chocolate, coconut, and pure joy) are worth the trip alone. They're open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to noon. Bonus: their breakfast sandwiches are massive and seriously tasty. I already can't wait to go back!

The menu is super diverse and very authentic. I got the braised beef noodle soup and the roast duck platter - usually my go to order. Place it at the counter and while you wait you can shop for your Asian grocery essentials. I bought one of the viral mango ice creams here along with tons of Chinese veggies and frozen dumplings and before I knew it my food was ready! Easy parking, although gets super busy on the weekends and staff is super helpful! Pro Tip: apply for their free VIP member card - it gets you exclusive, cheaper prices on many items. Tip #2, don't sleep on Asian grocery store seafood. It's almost always cheaper than other mainstream stores like Whole Foods and you're supporting small business so it's a win win!

I've stopped here on multiple occasions. They are still filling out the store as of August 2024…read more It's more spacious than their store on Smallman and many other Asian groceries stores nearby. There are two entrances/exits that have check outs. There is a section with baked buns (pretty good and comparable to prices elsewhere that have freshly baked buns like those in Squirrel Hill and Mt. Lebo). I've been after work twice and most of the savory options are gone (cream bun is tasty and they add raisins to it), but found the savory options available on a Saturday afternoon before 1 pm (BBQ pork bun was a bit too salty). There's a good selection of items, though the produce section is smaller than anticipated. Cashiers are nice. Parking is available on site.
