I have no connection to the Ukraine so I went in here not knowing what to expect. Nataliya European…read moreFood market is a lovely store, they have all categories--frozen, bakery, deli, dairy (including kefir) etc. The owner was very welcoming and offered to help interpret anything I wasn't sure about. However, I didn't have much of an issue as most of the items were quite obvious or had enough English on them to tell what they were. Sometimes you feel awkward stumbling around ethnic groceries but I didn't get that vibe here. They also have sausage that they make/smoke themselves. The owner said the cherry smoke one was the most popular and gave us a couple of samples. It is the kind of sausage you eat cold on crackers and I loved the wonderful texture/flavor. And was very inexpensive...about $3.90 for one rather large sausage. They charge by the pound. If you are doing a charcuterie board for a party or just want a nice protein rich snack option I would recommend. Prices were quite low and comparable to what you pay at the Greenfield GE. We left with a condensed milk swiss roll, some frozen Tibetan flavored dumplings and one of the sausages.

This place is great! I visited almost a year ago with my friend, and there was a wide selection of…read moreEastern European snacks and groceries. I got zefir, lokum, and a selection of chocolates and candies from glass jars. I loved the zefir and trying the different sweets. It was a great experience, and I got to try snacks that would otherwise be difficult to find locally. The lokum was so-so by itself, but it went really well with tea and served to guests. The store itself has a very cozy and homely feel and the workers were very nice and helpful! They suggested I get pastila, as it was a favorite. I liked the pastila and it was very reasonably priced. Overall, I'd suggest this store if you're in the area and want to try treats from a new region. I'd like to go back sometime to try the more savory items!

It's awesome. All located in a tiny fridge near the counter. Their tortilla chips are divine. I was super excited to find another fridge FILLED with different kinds of mole! Ohlala! The woman at the counter helped me choose. I mixed it with too much broth (her recommendation), but the flavor was amazing. I've since done it with far less broth and really loved it. The store is nothing to look at, but it's full of heart. You can buy just about any kind of hot sauce you can think of there. It's not a traditional grocery store -- but if you're looking for items for a Latin feast, then this is your shop. Crema, cotija cheeses, and the list goes on. **4-stars** for their taco stand out front. My husband and I each took advantage of their 2-taco meal for $12 for lunch. I got roasted zucchini & corn for one and chicken al Pastor for the second. The diced, sautéed zucchini was cooked perfectly, but for some reason, the taco just lacked flavor, even after adding their tomatillo salsa and some crema. The chicken al Pastor taco was good, but it was a little dry. My husband thought the same about his. He did say his pork al Pastor taco was really good, though. Not dry at all. The difference might've been the diced chunks of pineapple that were visible in the pork taco. I wish they had more veg-friendly and seafood options! All of the tacos are on flavorful corn tortillas -- an authentic experience that's so appreciated! We've missed this kind of Mexican food after moving to Pittsburgh. We took advantage of the outdoor seating just outside of the grocery store. The owner told us he is --- in just 2 weeks -- opening a Mexican restaurant on the spot! Hurrah! Can't wait to return.

This charming little spot is part deli, part market, part sandwich shop--and total perfection. They carry Italian specialty goods, fresh produce, hot and prepared meals, and a deli case full of deliciousness. Whether you're grabbing a jar of house-made sauce, some sliced salami, or a meatball hoagie, you're in for something special. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they know how to craft a seriously good sandwich. I stopped by on a Wednesday--which is when they get a delivery of fresh focaccia bread--and tried the sandwich of the day: steak, peppers, onions, and melty cheese on onion focaccia. It was unreal--I couldn't put it down. Don't skip the homemade desserts either. The magic bars (a rich blend of chocolate, coconut, and pure joy) are worth the trip alone. They're open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to noon. Bonus: their breakfast sandwiches are massive and seriously tasty. I already can't wait to go back!
