Great selection of cheeses, marinated olives, and other delicacies. The woman working the front wasn't friendly but otherwise everyone was friendly and helpful.

Seriously, soooo good! On par with my grandmother's baklava which was out of this world, I haven't had baklava as good as this since she passed away. Thank you for the amazing treat and warm fuzzy happy nostalgia :) Nicest girl running the register! She told me all about the Greek festival and all of the cool things they sell at the store. Welcomed me to Pittsburgh and had a lot of info about all of their products! She gave me a pamphlet about Pittsburgh strip district and down town. They also had delicious sugar free milk chocolate!

This was a great place to stop along our day in the Strip District in Pittsburgh. We found some of the most delicious cheeses, sausages and various ethnic foods. We'll definitely stop here again our next time in the city!

One of the strip district best kept secrets! Having a get together and wanted to include stuffed grape leaves... they are awesome and affordable! Pre packaged and ready to grab n go, 25 pieces for under $8., they are so good! A great vegetarian option that everyone will enjoy..

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS STORE!!!! They always have the most interesting cheeses, reasonably priced nuts, dried fruits, etc. A large variety of olives, house made hummus, spreads and dips. A small deli, all kinds of cured meats. There's a small selection of dried goods and lots of dried herbs. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a bit less pricey than similar stores in the area, and no long lines so you can get in and out quickly. I never do that though because they're always bringing in new product so I HAVE to look at EVERYYYYTHING.

Decently sized Middle Eastern and Greek shop that has lots of great products. It's thought to find some of their more rare products, such as Greek custard pies and unique Greek candies, bars, cheeses, etc. I also saw a few different teas, juices, and honey. While I was tempted to buy more, I just got the chocolate halva. After trying it, I only thought it was okay. Somewhat hard corners and not the best flavor. The pastries that were homemade, such as the walnut cake, seemed great. I've heard great things about them and I'd like to try them out. However, the imported pastries I'm not too sure about. Still, there are lots of great products at this store. Selection is fairly good and it's a decent way to try unique products. It's not as good as made to order Greek or Middle Eastern pastries, but these products are still high quality. Okay prices and virtually never any lines, too.

This was the Last stop on the food tour of the Pittsburgh Strip District that I went on, and by far and away, this was my favorite shop of the lot!! It's run by two sisters who are super lovely and have put together a selection of the best food they can import especially from Greece as well as odds and ends from the rest of the EU. I found so many different kinds of couscous and lovely Greek pastries as well as gorgeous honey from Cyprus. I wish they offered a curated selection of stuff and gave individual tours of what was selling in their shop, because I'd sign up for that! Everything I sampled in store was just super lovely and tasted very fresh! Loved it and plan to return when next in Pittsburgh!! Yelp Review 68/ 2017

Be careful not to mix up the olives. There's two different price ranges. I unwittingly mixed up olives of different prices which frustrated the old fella working the register to no end. Good cheese selection. Great olive selection. All sorts of other mysterious Greek groceries you'll rarely if ever see at a Giant Eagle.

Great place. I prefer the cheese here over Penn Mac any day! Plus, the french feta is to die for!

The woman after scanning my ID actually flipped it over and thanked me by my first name and same with my wife. (It's the little things). We bought some baked goods and honestly I'd would have just gotten food and hung out but my wife is here on a business trip so we just had to get some snacks. The store is huge. They have a wide variety of drinks and snacks. The flow was good as the aisles are decently sized and although we were only there for about 30 minutes the customer base was cool, even when the power went out for 10 seconds. If we actually lived here this would be our store. It's not overly expensive and it literally has everything.

I also appreciate the fair return policy, if something is wrong they refund your money and also you can replace the item. They don't give you any grief if you need to return something like Giant Eagle. They have certainly expanded their selection and the quality has always been good. The only issue is that the items come and go just like Trader Joe's. I love the hummus chips that pop up every once in a while, but then they go away quickly. I have always loved the fact that they never use plastic bags, which is very sustainable. It is very good to have them in the neighborhood. Please note: if you park out in the front you will not be able to transport your groceries in a cart out to your car. The store is wired so that the cart gets locked up if you try to leave out of the front door. This can suck if the back parking lot is full.

The selection of products is smaller than what many other grocery stores offer, and the prices are low to moderate. My husband and I shopped at this ALDI in the South Side one time. We saw a decent variety of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, eggs, meats, seafoods, snacks, pantry items, beverages, and other products. My husband commented that the chicken cost less than the chicken at other grocery stores. We purchased several snack foods and beverages for a stay in a nearby hotel. The cashier performed their job well. We did not have to wait in line for long, and the transaction had no errors.
