Elizabeth is absolutely an ARTIST! She just made my day, doing the absolutey most incredible gel pedi I've ever gotten in NYC! She's truly such an angel she has the most amazing energy, always so cheerful and kind. I just love her so I had to leave this review here! Go see her you won't regret it!

    This is what I wanted

I appreciate this mail spa. They were busy, had many walk ins and were on schedule for my appointment. Pretty close to what I asked for, except could have been more careful for air bubbles. Compared to other local salons, this would have costed $65+ (I called around). This took one hour start to finish, and they did a 5 second hand massage/ back massage. One thing I will add they really strived to make my nails exactly like the picture, but they didn't shape them correctly. Also the air bubbles, I asked them to fix, and they said they weren't there. Costed $42 because I paid with card ($40 for cash). I'd come back!

No frills nail salon. For location, it is affordable. I usually get the gel mani pedi. The mani is $30 and pedi is $45. Their pedicures are nice- complimentary hot stone. They also have a large selection of nail colors. Unfortunately, some techs can be very aggressive with nail clipping and filing. Sometimes my gel manicure is taken off with acetone and sometimes with a nail drill. I prefer acetone but they always begin without offering me the choice. I've also had staff get offended and even more aggressive after providing my preferences. The reason I am giving three stars is because my visits have either been hit or miss. And when they're a miss, it's real bad. Even when I've requested the same nail tech, there is lack of consistency.

I have ugly nails in general and Elizabeth made them look amazing!

Best manicure! I walked in without an appointment around 145pm and they sat me right away. Elizabeth was so sweet and did an amazing job. I highly recommend her! She is meticulous in her practice. She's now my go to girl. I'm updating this review because I'm appalled at the quality of service here. I arrived at 745 for a regular mani pedi and they waited until 8pm to see me even though I heard a couple of employees in the back room who sounded like they were horsing around. At 905 my manicure was done and they put quick dry on my nails as they all scurried to get their things together since they close at 930. At 915 the last employee gathered her things and basically pushed me out the door and told me my nails were dry and it was time to leave. Fast forward to now and there are bubbles on all my nails and it's already chipped. I'm so disappointed in this place and the owner seems nasty.

    Disgusting and wrinkly.

I can't even believe I paid $36 for the worst manicure of my life. I can't believe this nail tech has ever given a manicure before. My nails actually look worse than before and she cut me in 3 places. (See photos) at one point the polish was so wrinkly and she pretended not to see it until I pointed it out 3x and then fixed it with an attitude. The finished product is clumpy and I'm still bleeding. DO NOT GO HERE.

Came here out of convenience - they were really close to where I live. The interior is very nice - it seems super clean and swanky, and it's also extremely large. There's about two rows of massage chairs, and an additional row of manicure stations. Despite the spaciousness, Bleu manages to seem pretty busy a lot of the time. They have a really large staff, so there's always someone free. This particular salon is Chinese, and the staff tends to be pretty chatty with each other. I've never heard them say anything about the patrons though - it's mostly chatting about their own lives and stuff like that. They're on the pricier side - $35 for a mani-pedi combo, which is quite a premium when you can get a perfectly good mani-pedi at $20. I haven't gotten my nails done here before, but from the looks of it they do a lot of extras - massages why you wait for your nails to dry, rose petals in the pedicure tub, the little lotion gloves. They also have a special which they advertise heavily - free lip or eyebrow wax if you get a mani-pedi Monday through Thursday, as well as free champagne on the other days. Everything seems very sanitary. I always came here for the $10 for 10 minute massages, which are really great. They always give you some extra time too and are really receptive of your input.

Mindy and Wiki are my two favorite nail specialist here. They do an amazing job with the tips and gel! I can forever rely on them for good nails! Thank you guys!!

Paid almost $80 for a horrible full acrylic set. he used glue mostly and one thin layer or dipped acrylic powder and used a quick glue drying spray. My manicure is lumpy. Not worth the money.

I like this place a lot, good service and reasonable prices. I went at 5 pm and was able to be seen right away. For the manicures they have these gloves that are warm and filled with lotion. They also give you a quick massage while your nail are drying.

Even three days later, the cut is still sore in shoes!

Ok so I have been a regular here for about a year and their services have always been great until the last few times I have gotten a Mani/Pedi. The last Pedi I had, the lady was so careless she somehow cut into my toe, which bled profusely and she kept dabbing with an alcohol q-tip. I felt a bit sick as it hurt! I didn't have my glasses with me so I couldn't see the extent until I was at home. Disappointed that she didn't even mention the cut until the very end and still charged me full price for the Pedi AND a 20% tip. I was horrified when I got home: 3 days later, you can see it is still irritated and uncomfortable in shoes. I do hope the manager calls me back to discuss this, as I was advised she was not available and they didn't know when she was in next.

It truly creates a relaxing atmosphere. However, I've noticed that the quality of the mani & pedi has declined over the years, which has made me hesitant to return, even though it's in the most convenient location for me. These days when I returned, it's just for last minute color change to avoid more damage. I referred a friend to join me for a mani/pedi once, and she also mentioned that while the ambiance is great, but the owners should get their own mani & pedi done by their technicians, which I completely agree with. While I usually don't like getting my cuticles pushed or cut, I really appreciate that they respected that preference. However, when it comes to removing polish, it's done very recklessly with a lack of attention to detail. On several occasions, they've scraped the skin around the nails--sometimes cutting it to the point where it bled and required a bandage. When I mentioned this to the hostess after she asked for feedback, she dismissed it by saying I have sensitive skin. Since when is it normal for skin to be scraped during a mani/pedi? Additionally, I've had gel mani here twice in a row, and the technician over-shaved to the point where my nails ended up paper-thin that I have to ask the technician to apply extra coats to make up for it. One time, the technician even touched my skin with the machine that is used to shave the gel polish off. I've also had my skin scraped during pedicures, which is concerning. Every time I get a gel mani, within two weeks, the polish would start to lift on the cuticle side, which shows a lack of precision during the application. My friend got a regular mani & pedi here, and one of her nails chipped within a day. While I still love the atmosphere and the owners, the decline in the quality of the services, especially regarding polish removal, nail care, and attention to detail, has made me hesitant on coming back.

The interior design of the space is what pulled my attention when walking up 9th Ave. It is chic yet accessible and never approaches being or feeling gaudy. Very clean look (and space). Great color palate used. Very comfortable chairs. Good use of white space accentuated with green angular paint and golden decals and other ornamentations, all done minimally and with purposeful placement. Carmen (my nail tech) made good efforts and took obvious care to give me a nice buff manicure, all for only $27 (+ a small amount of tax). No nips or cuts. No pain. Textbook technique. Picked up well on when I wanted to zen out to the aura of the space and the well-curated spa playlist vs when I was open to a little nail tech kiki. Loved the sugar scrub they use for the hand massage. I take ownership for not getting the pre-cuticle work nail soak as part of the provided service. IMO, if a nail salon doesn't automatically incorporate the soak into your mani, you as the customer should speak up when the softening gel is pulled out and before it is applied. If they don't offer it? That's another thing. But I didn't test those waters and cannot speak to Nail Me Right (goodness gravy I love the business name!). So, keep in mind if the soak is your thing. They were very accommodating from the moment I arrived until I left. So I have a hunch this request wouldn't be a problem. Same with the end result. You as the customer are responsible for checking your nails / hands / feet / whatever before ending the appointment. I was late for my next appointment and did not, later seeing I would've like a little extra work done where the far end of nail edges meets the finger and a shinier buff applied. Again, I am quite sure Carmen would have accommodated had I done my part and spoken up before leaving. Still, I woke up the next morning to those slight extra bits naturally working themselves out (which points to the moisturizing measures NMR applies being of good quality), and my hand looking nice. I plan to pop in next time I'm in the area and in the market for some nail / hand / foot love, and hope you'll consider doing the same to support this family and what they're working to bring to the neighborhood.
