Mind you, the salesman may not have been aware of any at the time. However, I'm not sure their history with integrity should allot them the benefit of the doubt. I had been taking my Jeep in to them for years, trusting they were doing quality work and charging a decent price. Initially it seemed they were. Mind you, I don't know much past the basics of vehicle maintenance. So who knows how many times the swindled me before I caught them. This brings us to this 7/3/25. My Jeep started making clanging noises. I immediately took it in, especially being a single mom who understands the importance of mechanical performance in relation to vehicle safety. Upon taking my Jeep in I asked the clerk to tell the technician IT HAD TO BE DRIVEN to hear the issue. I even had her write it down. She said she would ensure they did and would call my when they were finished; but stated all technicians would be out for at least another 30 mins for lunch. Not even 30 mins later I received a call saying they looked it over and they didn't see any issues. This made zero logical sense for several issues besides the time difference, but I figured I'd go there and talk to them in person. When I spoke to the clerk she swore that they looked it over and saw no issues inside or out. So I asked her (while staring her dead in the eye) if they test drove it. She paused and said, "uhmm yep. They did." So I asked again, "Are you positive? Because I'm pretty positive there is something wrong but they won't be able to tell unless they drive it." She again affirmed they did. I then asked for a print out of their work. To this she responded, "Oh, you don't get a print out for them just doing a check like that." I said, "Really, because they have every other time?" She again said they didn't. So I asked, "Then how do I know they looked it over or what if I need to bring it in in reference to this visit?". She said, "Oh, well we have it documented in our system. Don't worry." Not wanting to fuss I left but immediately felt I was being lied to. However, it was the 4th (or day before) and I didn't want to make a fuss. Not even 2 mins after getting on 10th my Jeep started making the same horrendous clanging noise while also losing power in spurts. I drove it home on side streets. Then immediately called my dad to come take it for a drive. After which he told me DO NOT DRIVE IT-AT ALL! It's absolutely not safe to drive and they shouldn't have let you drive it out of that lot. We then had it towed back to the dealership following the holiday. Long story short after doing some research I found out there was a mass recall on Jeeps of similar makes for PTU failures. Some of the specific warnings about PTU failures are that they can cause you to suddenly loose power, loose the ability to stop, and even combust (aka catch fire). So I took it back in and talk to the SM(sales manager) who at first tried to deny I even brought it in DUE TO THEIR BEING NO PAPERWORK IN THE SYSTEM! I then told him the name of the clerk. He called her in and she acknowledged I was in but ONLY THEN ADMITTED IT WAS NEVER TEST DRIVEN! The SM swore he would do everything to ensure it was taken care of and earn my trust back. However, they then tried to charge me for the recall work-ALL OF WHICH SHOULD BE COVERED! Clearly he failed, but then a new SM came in. Maybe things would be different. 3/4/26-Instead they again charged me for damages to a bolt that "somehow" was missing despite being told that it had to be removed physically. However their own mechanic even stated in front of them, "UNLESS it was damaged due to the extra stress due to the PTU failure." Plus it is in the same area where they had to go in to repair my PTU. I had them put it back on the lift and show me both areas. So if you are looking for honesty, integrity, and pride in the workmanship AND leadership behind it, I suggest you go anywhere but here. Period.

I also worked with Cason Taylor in Finance and Cason was also very helpful and easy to work with. All in all, working with Taylor's Automax was a breath of fresh air! Both Mike and Cason did an outstanding job and I'd return to Taylor's in a heartbeat!     My experience has been horrendous. Purchased a used 2021 Nissan Rogue, put down $6k. Drove off the…read morelot and within a week my alternator was out. They ate that bill, then I had a coolant leak same day of its return to me that wasn't there before the alternator was serviced. Coolant leak was "repaired", then transmission went out. Service report stated the trans-axel assembly, transmission and rotors were replaced, as upon inspection there was metal shavings in them and was deteriorated. Now, on a new transmission, alternator and supposedly fixed coolant leak.....my transmission is out again. This vehicle has stranded me multiple times and if this transmission issue results in another replacement, this will make it TWO transmissions in this car in less than a year. Each time my vehicle has had to go in, it takes a long time to get in, just as long to fix it, and upon return there's always more issues. I am frustrated. It's disgusting to me that this business claims to rigorously inspect all vehicles before they are listed. That is so obviously false it is laughable. I've purchased cars from private owners and dealers alike and never once had this many issues. There is no excuse for the negligence shown in this case. The costs to fix have been covered by warranty, but those costs are more than the car is even worth. More than I put down on it. I have kids and need a safe vehicle. I know my way around a vehicle. I check my fluids. I maintain my vehicle. They sold me a lemon. I've been in and out of their service department, sent many an angry email, and I am once again without a vehicle for an unknown amount of time. This is exhausting emotionally, and financially. It costs me ~$60 a day to get to and from work now. Taylors wants $50/day for a rental. After seeing so many people, including FAMILY MEMBERS of mine have nothing but wonderful experiences, it's disappointing at the least to be experiencing this disregard for safety, blatant falsification of a bogus "inspection" prior to being put on the lot, and unwillingness to fix a problem that stems from their staff and failures. Getting into contact with anyone higher than Josh at service seems impossible. Bad business practice doesn't cover it when these issues are preventable with proper inspection, proper mechanical services, honesty and integrity. I spoke to service dept. and was given as estimate of $415. They diagnosed the issue as spark plugs, and requested approval for ALL FOUR to be replaced. They did not state what made them come to that conclusion. This appears to be a transmission issue that is seems they are misdiagnosing. They claimed they pressure tested for a coolant leak and did not find one. When I asked why my coolant is disappearing, I was told "well, coolant is half water". I asked if I should have had to refill it twice in two weeks, he said no but there wasn't a leak. Doubtful. I was told my heat is blowing hot. It's been out for weeks, and does not work. It blows cold air on all levels, all temps. This is not due to low coolant, as I carefully watch my engine temperature and coolant levels due to the obvious leak they failed to diagnose. I'm furious, frustrated, exhausted with this business. I don't appreciate shady mechanics when I grew up watching classics be rebuilt and performing maintenance on vehicles my whole life. Audicty is high, service is lacking, integrity doesn't exist. I can't find strong enough words to describe the inconvenience, disrespect and dishonesty.
