Arrived around 530pm and was able to find close street parking (free). A lot of people were already…read morethere with their dogs and kids, so all of the limited nine bench tables were filled up. They also had one long bench seating lined up on one side, close to the bench tables. Sitting there made it a little awkward to be in such close proximity to the people on the bench tables. Small Pole table trays were available too if you don't mind standing. There's plenty of open space, so hopefully in the future they can add more seating. It may be a good idea to bring your own seats and side table if you want to do extra work. Four food trucks were lined up on one side: Rude Bwoys, Italian Ice, Gusty Peruano, and another one. There was a short line for Gusty Peruano. The pager they gave us notified us when the food was ready, took less than 15 minutes. Food was great, although expensive. The Smashburger was delicious, but the fries were on the softer side. Causa a la Limeña was good too. We didn't get drinks since there was an extremely long line, but when we initially arrived, there was no line. So if that happens to you, take advantage of that while you can. The DJ was starting to set up right when we were leaving. There were some cornhole boards. Didn't see any bathrooms or porta potties. Gusty Peruano made it worth it to visit, otherwise, not sure if I would be back.

The staff is so nice.. they said they are working thru new opening stuff but getting feel that this will be big! It's a Wednesday and only one food truck was here but had big flavors! The green light food truck was there.. it says VP it's various tastes of any foods! Lots of cultural flavors.. tacos empanadas, steak skewers and a wide variety of things.. we just came grab small bite and support this cool location . We got empanadas and they were big full of meats and had a dipping sauce that's similar to yum yum but even yummier!! There's cargo containers made into a restroom and ones a bar with chow town merchandise! So cute! I hope it does well and I'm sure weekends are so much bigger than weekdays.. be aware parking is prob the big flaw I. This plan but I'm sure moving forward that will be addressed.. go check them out

I stopped in twice yesterday. The first visit was fine -- nothing memorable, but fine. Geneva was…read morebartending both times. The second visit, however, came with a greeting I've never heard in my fifty‑plus years: "You've been out all day. I can't serve you because I'll be liable if you're over served." I've bartended before. I understand the responsibility. But I was never asked a single question about what I'd actually been doing. For clarity: we had lunch at Michael's Seafood before our first visit. I had one non‑alcoholic seltzer at Island Beverage, and my partner had a four‑flight sampler. After that, we went thrifting and shopping at Goodwill, Lowe's Foods, and Dollar Tree. No drinking. No bar‑hopping. Nothing even close. On our second visit, Geneva gave us water and let us charge a phone -- and I do appreciate that. But being told "you've been out all day" instead of "welcome back" was unnecessary, inaccurate, and frankly insulting. It was an assumption presented as fact, and it was embarrassing. What made it even more absurd was watching Geneva continue to serve patrons who were clearly intoxicated while I sat there with a glass of water. So here's the takeaway: Don't go in twice in one day. Apparently that alone is enough to get treated like you've been drinking all over town. After this experience, I won't be going in on any day. I hope the staff can handle situations like this with actual communication instead of jumping straight to conclusions.

This place is a fantastic example of how to take history, character, and craftsmanship and blend…read morethem into a genuinely memorable experience. The building alone is worth the visit. Housed inside a restored 1947 Quonset hut -- those curved steel structures originally designed for WWII -- the space manages to feel both industrial and welcoming at the same time. Inside, the high arched ceiling, natural light, plants, and comfortable leather seating create a relaxed lounge atmosphere that feels intentional rather than trendy. Outside, the patio area with string lights and open-air seating gives you a second completely different vibe, perfect for enjoying North Carolina sunshine. The cocktails absolutely delivered. The Brown Butter Old Fashioned is a standout. Brown butter-washed bourbon adds a subtle nutty richness that rounds off the edges of the whiskey beautifully, while the cinnamon bitters and maple bring warmth without turning the drink into dessert. It's creative but still respects the classic Old Fashioned structure -- which is exactly how a riff on a traditional cocktail should be done. The Limoncello Tonic was bright, refreshing, and crisp -- a perfect counterpoint. House-made limoncello with tonic and citrus notes makes for an easy-drinking, sunny cocktail that feels light but still flavorful. Ideal patio drink. Service and presentation appear polished, and the fact that they distill many of their own spirits in-house adds authenticity you don't always get at cocktail lounges. There's also something admirable about adaptive reuse like this. Taking a mid-century industrial structure and turning it into a modern social space is a reminder that good design doesn't have to erase history -- it can build on it. Overall: Excellent atmosphere, thoughtfully crafted drinks, unique historic setting, and a relaxed but upscale vibe. A place that feels both local and special at the same time. A special shout-out to Abigail, the bar back, who had a fantastic system for handling the crowd. Instead of everyone clustering around the bar trying to figure out where the line started or ended, she encouraged us to grab a seat and brought the drinks out when they were ready. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and organized, and it's the kind of thoughtful service detail that really stands out. Kudos Abigail!
