As I'm growing older, I see styles changing, yet these guys always have at least one pair I can take away with confidence. I'm not interested in keeping up with all the current trends as I've seen most of them come and go in the past. I wouldn't call myself old but finding a nice shop that feels relevant with a good vibe in service is a breath of fresh air. Love Blends my fav store for vans grew up shopping at the San Diego location and the Costa Mesa location and now I live in Los Angeles and tried this location for the first time and it was just as amazing and Trent had the most amazing customer service ever I felt bad because I came in 5 minutes before closing and he was so patient with me and helpful love my shoes and totally recommend this location! read more

They made me wait me over 20 minutes outside in the sun with my baby. They have a very small shoe and clothing selection. The workers were very unprofessional and very rude I'll never return to this location. Please really reconsider shopping here. read more

This store is ok. We came in the middle of the day on a weekend and we were the only customers there. There was also one person working. The store seemed pretty dreary. Maybe it needs more light and more colorful shoes. It seems like the majority of the shoes they have are either black, white, or grey. Not many "fun" styles and not much selection for women. My fiancé did happen to find a pair of black kicks he liked, but they didn't have his size. Street meter parking. No obvious large signs in the store front. read more

Just left the shop and couldn't wait to write this review. Worst customer service I've EVER encountered. First off... When I walked in the store, it was empty except for a guy who looked confused by me walking past him. I later realized this was because no one else had come to help him while he was there in the shop. He made some comment about walking out with something and no one stopping him. Ok. That was weird. Then I look around for a bit. I'd been here earlier this week and was coming back to buy. Funny, same situation the last time I was there. Front door open, no one in the shop. Whatever, I figured maybe it's just one person and they were on a call or something. I stand around for 15 minutes. I know cause I kept checking my phone. I decided to call the shop to see if something was wrong or to see if maybe they closed early because it was Father's Day but forgot to lock up. Like 3 minutes after I called and got no answer, I was about to leave when this guy walks out of the back drying his hands. He immediately throws attitude at me... apparently for being an inconvenient customer. He asks what I want, and I ask if I can try on a couple of pairs of shoes. I guess I wasn't clear to which ones, because he asks "what?!" So I tried to point them out. He grabs the shoe aggressively and while he's walking back to the back where he came from, he shakes his head and says something. I ask him, "Sorry, were you closed?" Thinking maybe they'd already closed for the day and forgot to lock the door. (Nevertheless, guy should not have been throwing attitude at a customer that'd just been waiting for service for like almost 20min.) He replies, "No I was in the Bathroom!" And turns back around and disappears into the back. Who the hell leaves a store unattended without locking the front door to use the bathroom for 20 min??? The guy comes back with the shoes, hands them to me, and doesn't say anything. Then, gets on his phone... I tried on both pairs... One didn't fit the other fit Ok. I asked to try on another pair, and he grabs it with just as much attitude as the first one and when he's walking back into the back he shouts "f*ck!" ...Seriously? What are you, a child? Anyway, that was the last time I'll ever go back in there. I don't know if this guy was the owner. But if he was an employee... he's not only a crap salesperson, he's a liability for the shop. read more

Man it's a shame that this place has grown in popularity so much that they have taken UNDFTDs title as most douchy sneaker store in LA. I never thought that this would happen to my favorite sneaker store that I have supported for over 10 years. *DISCLAIMER ((In fact for a number of years my review was the top hit on Google for this place.)) Well before they moved it was already heading in that direction...questionable releases and morals to say the least. I mean they would allow people to pay a bum to put a chair outside the store on release day and then have like 15 people cut the front of the line. When I told Tac (the owner) they acted as if they were appalled and would seriously do something about it. Well guess what it must have been an inside job the whole time because since they moved they have put up a mural up in the store of that same bum claiming he's some sort of DTLA legend. Idgf yall effin up the sneaker game with this kind of bullshit. Now that they moved they have been pushing the hype to stratospheric limits. I mean holding releases for weeks to have like 9 raffles in one day is complete bullshit. The mark up is real too. Before it was a few $$ and now it has grown to as much as $20-40 on the popular releases. This shop attracts the most bottom barrel customers. When I say trash I'm referring to resellers. Those same 15-20 guys who are always cutting the line or bringing their mother, sister, brother, babymamas, 20 of their looser friends are not even in it for the love of the sneakers. I can't even stand to be in line with those degenerates. So I am truly sad to say I have moved on from this place they now get the UNDFTD treatment from a few years ago...only a last resort. I mean even Undefeated treats you better and is waaaay more legit and fair...wow, thought I'd never say that. read more

Been here twice since they moved here to this location and the staff have been so great. Recently had to contact Blends via email about about a certain shoe that was hard to find. Two days later, I found out they were shipping the kicks from their San Diego store to this one. Next day I picked them up and was extremely happy! Awesome customer service and friendly staff. I bought a pair of shoes online that cost me $175.00. About an hour after I ordered my shoes I received an email saying they cancelled the order because they had put up the wrong pictures on the website for the shoes I bought and that they had (already) refunded my money. I did not receive a refund, I contacted my bank to double check and they said I would have to open up a dispute. I called every single store in CA (there are about 6 or 7) AND NONE OF THEM ANSWERED OR RETURNED MY MULTIPLE MESSAGES! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I really need that money for black Friday shopping. I sent Blends an email explaining all this and asking for them to give me a refund. They did not answer till 48 hours later- after I asked them to respond quickly. It seems they acted slowly in their response just to irritate me. This store is terrible. Do not trust them. Do not buy anything from them. They are dishonest, deceitful and treated me poorly and with had an attitude in the email they sent me when they finally answered me. They said they could not help, when all I needed was them to take one minute to call me and I could patch in my bank so they could verify the charges would be refunded and I would have been immediately refunded. The kicker is this was a mistake on their end, and they did not have enough courtesy to spend one minute to help me resolve the issue they caused. I STILL HAVE YET TO BE REFUNDED. I cannot say enough bad stuff about this place. Steer clear of these thieves. read more
