They legit thought I had fake one hundred dollar bills, what a disappointment. I have shopped for a pair of Deions shades there before and was extremely satisfied but this go around was very disappointing. We asked the girl if she had a marker they had no marker or system in place to officially mark the bills, which is the fault of the business. She proceeded to tell us she's been doing this along time in a matter of fact way which was unprofessional. Back story we were military kids who've afforded to be able to make a living without fraud please don't judge a book by its cover no matter the shade of a person. read more

I'm usually never the person to put one star on a location, but I just had a bad experience. I came here in 2022 wanting to purchase replacement lenses and at that time I was given a free replacement, which I appreciate. My mom had lenses she needed replaced now in 2026, so I asked if I could purchase new lenses. They told me it was not possible and I could only purchase new frames. After that, I was ignored in the store and the staff left the store empty. You think they would at least try to help me. I was close to buying another pair, but I felt judged. Now I might consider buying lenses elsewhere because they didn't want my business. Another employee also took a phone call on company time. I just left. I spend the entire time there trying to research where I could buy replacement lenses elsewhere. You think they would at least try to retain their old customer base. I was even planning on getting new computer glasses but this was a much different experience. There were a couple of customers before me, but the store got empty and they just went into the back. Not good. read more

Dear friends bought me a pair of Phoenix sunglasses from Blenders last November. Fun pair of frames and I find that I don't like most glasses on me. Big melon..hard to fit. Fast forward, about 9 months. The arm of these glasses had cracked at some point and when I put them on, they broke all the way. Husband emailed Blenders to see if there was a warranty and got me in contact to send them pics. Low and behold, they were kind enough to offer me a new pair of my choice as the Phoenix frames were out of stock. Just got my new sunny's..a pair of Tate's. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. read more

I like these shades especially for the price. I have 2 sets currently and have a third beat down set that seemed to have much better quality lenses than what's on my 2 newer sets. The right lens is delaminating around the edges shown in the picture, you can see it in the photo by my left pointer finger. Not sure how or why but both of my newer sets have this going on, I don't use chemicals to clean the lenses so I'm not sure I'm buying the excuse I was given with oil or sunscreen getting on them causing this. I stopped by the Encinitas store today to see if there was anything they could do, sounds like my only option is to buy another set of shades for 30% off - no thanks onto the next brand!I read more

Definitely the best customer service! Logan always goes above and beyond to help me out when I am in the store. I definitely will be back, and will only purchase my sunglasses from here because of the service I have received. The styles are minimal but make a statement & the quality is phenomenal. I always get compliments when I am wearing my blender's sunglasses read more

Ok, this store ROCKS. They have a ton of super cool glasses at amazing prices. Logan and Taylor are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and made it a very enjoyable experience. We bought three pair on the spot and got a kick ass discount. They even have prescription options which I'll be taking advantage of after the new year. Get over to Encinitas on PCH to check out their very cool storefront asap! Great company, great products and awesome staff. Thanks guys! Happy Holidays! Matt, Dona & Zach read more

I've seen Blenders on social media before through ads and various content, and while staying in the Encinitas area on vacation I noticed they had a physical store in the area. My husband and I visited on a Friday afternoon and were able to check out the full variety of what they had to offer. I was really impressed with the various styles they had to offer and the quality was fantastic. When I noticed the price point on each selection - I was actually blown away and couldn't help but snag a few pairs. Not only was the selection great and affordable, we also had fantastic help with their associate Logan. He was easy to talk to, really knowledgeable about the products, their uniqueness, and taught us quite a lot about the brand since we were new customers. After this shopping experience, I'm a proud supporter of Blenders. I love that it was a local company built on passion and now fueled by community. We couldn't have had a more pleasant experience and we look forward to coming back and adding to the collection. If you're in the area, this is a must try!! read more

What a great place to buy a cool, affordable pair of sunglasses! My son and I each got a pair and we're getting so many compliments (he's getting more but he's adorable lol). The service was surprisingly friendly and cool and I saw that they're donating all profits to breast cancer awareness right now. I have visited this Blenders store probably 4x's this year. Customer service wasn't bad, ok/normal. However, yesterday Thursday, the customer I received from Mayeli was OUTSTANDING!!! She greeted me, noticed I was already rocking some old Blenders shades and asked if I needed anything as well as gave me some great reccomnedations for new shades/lenses. Her customer felt attentive, genuine and helpful. She observed and asked how she could help me. Thank you Mayeli!! I hope you are appreciated by your bosses, your team and all the customers you provide service too!! Additionally, as I left the store rockin' a new pair of shades her coworker Taylor was super bubly and took this cool pic of me and continued to say good-bye to me as I eft the store. He was so loud I heard potential customers saying, "what's going on in there? I want a farewell like that?!" Thanks Mayeli and Taylor! read more

My fiancé and I have been buying Blenders for years (probably way too many) and absolutely loved them. We were only a little bummed as after a few months of use the film would come off the lens. We let the young man Tailor know we're not giving up on them because we love them and he informed us that they heard about this problem and made new lenses to correct it. Sold! We bought another updated pair and are so happy with them! He took amazing care of us couldn't have given us better service. Thank you so much Tailor and Blenders for the best glasses and customer service. We will be back. read more

Just recently had an experience with Taylor that needs to be shared. I have a fishing trip coming up in 4 days and the Blenders site estimated even with expedited shipping there was a chance I wouldn't get the glasses in time. No big deal, I was willing to drive the 80 miles to pick them up in person. To ensure I didn't make the trek in vain I called the store first to make sure the item was in stock (in this case a pair of SciFi's in the Buttery Bro's color way). The person who picked up the phone, Taylor, had a better idea: why not complete the process over the phone and have them shipped out from the store that way the glasses arrive sooner. After giving me the run down on what was available we processed the order and BOOM - done deal. Not only was this the better option for me logistically, but Taylor was so fantastic throughout the whole thing. I hung up the phone in a better mood that's how awesome the interaction was. If you're local and can make the drive ditch the website and pay Taylor a visit - you won't be disappointed. In fact I bet he'll make your day. read more

I love blenders. I prob have about 17 sunglasses combined. I came into the store because a pair of mine was starting to show some type of weird running on the lenses. The young girl up front seemed like she did not want to help me. I've never had issues with their sunglasses before and they say they cover warranty on irregularities. Needless to say she wanted to charge me to get them fixed at 30% off when I know they replace them for free. Let her know I'd get with customer service online and I got the shoulder shrug. A bit disappointed in this experience. Sunglasses themselves I give 5 stars. I love them. read more

Received a pair of sunglasses as a gift from blenders. They were in the box new and never worn, so I went into the Encinitas store to exchange them. They said they needed the persons email that bought them, or an order number. I am not sure how I would have that when they were a gift nor would I want them to know I exchanged them. After no luck finding those details they said they can't do anything for me. I only wanted to exchange them for another pair, keep in mind they were not worn, brand new, with the tags and box. The female manager said sorry nothing we can do so we just left the glasses there because they were not going to be worn Or given to someone else that might have the same issue trying to find another pair. Pretty bummed on the brand knowing that I know the owner Chase personally. Should probably fix that exchange policy before you start losing sales. read more

We were next door at Baked Bear getting ice cream when our girls (6 and 8) wanted to go check out glasses. They wandered in and were treated so well by the guys running the shop.
