Staying across the river from downtown Green Bay allowed us to explore…read moreshops, restaurants, bars and more. After eating lunch nearby, we decided to continue exploring and stumbled upon this quaint candy shop. ++ Cute location, plenty of parking and walkability to downtown attractions ++ Family owned and operated! ++ Sweetest and welcoming staff - that allows all to try multiple items before purchasing! ++ One heck of an inventory of chocolate, gummies, hard candies and more! We had a hard time deciding on what to buy but sampled a few items before walking away with a box of little chocolates, chocolate covered bacon and other gummies. YUM! ++ fresh, creamy and delicious chocolate and enjoyable candy!! ++ Pricing is cheap and affordable! When in GB, come HERE to fulfill your sweet tooth!

The old fashioned ice cream counter would be fun to enjoy during warmer months, it was somewhat cold outside, so we settled on a few to-go treats instead. We purchased a couple different items including some chocolates, caramels and the sleeper pick of all the items - homemade hot cocoa mix. The mix is basically leftover chocolate shavings and makes for a delicious cup of hot chocolate. They also offer a ton of molded chocolates. Dinosaurs, flowers, race cars, animals, shapes, holiday items, etc. A variety of prices and sizes and in different chocolate types. The chocolate used in the shapes is a creamy, high quality one. Fun pit stop before heading home for the day.

A one of a kind roadside ice cream spot in Luxembourg Wi. Their sign says "since 1954." We…read morestopped on our way up to door county for lunch on a Sunday in August. While mainly about ice cream, the burgers are also pretty good served on a unique crispy home-made style bun. I couldn't resist so indulged in a delicious strawberry shake while my wife enjoyed a chocolate malt. Others in the group enjoyed the Oreo flurry (like a DQ blizzard) and a sundae. Just a short drive off the main highway so worth a quick diversion.

There are tables all around and the water isn't too far either. Going up to the window, we ordered the cherry frosty. The women responded with "you know that's the syrup, right?" I am not sure if it was a long day, but looking back she seemed a bit short. This was double downed when we received our order. Which was completed in a timely manner. I looked at the scope of ice cream expecting something a little different. Rather than her asking or showing any concern, it was - "I said it was a Sunday." I'm not one to ever argue with the one that makes my food so I smiled and grabbed it. Also, a note about tipping culture. If you expect/ want a tip, than give singles back so the person is more inclined to tip. If you just give a five or a ten back, don't expect them to tip more then what they paid for. The icecream with cherry was very good. Unfortunately, I don't see us coming back to this establishment. Seems a little pricy for what we got. Plus the service was a side of sour.

Try the butter pecan, or the moose tracks. Go for strawberry or vanilla. Mint chocolate person? Right there with you. You literally cannot go wrong here. If you want a reasonable serving, get the kids cup. A single is actually a double and they just get bigger from there: and yes, they can do multiple flavors in a single gel if you can't decide. And they'll give tastes to help you narrow it down. Sundaes are amazing but most people just get the ice cream because it's that good. If you're from out of town, prepare to be very pleased at the pieces. If you live there, ya, it's gone up, and so? There are a few tables if you want to sit inside, a few more tables outside. And of course there's Bernice. Take a picture with Bernice. You'll be glad you went.

Prices are very reasonable, at the time that we went it was $4.50 for two large scoops of ice cream. A special Sunday would run you 5 to 6 bucks, which is very comparable to like a Dairy Queen. I had Scotcheroo, a butterscotch ice cream base with peanut butter swirl and chocolate covered crispies, a flavor I haven't been able to find at the grocery store before. It was so good, if I find out the store I'm buying two tubs!
