This burger spot is just a simple yet stylish hole in the wall restaurant. The menu is rather compact, making your choice(s) relatively easy. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but the ordering process was painless, and the food came out in a timely manner. While this place is higher end than your typical fast food chain, it is still fast casual dining. They did ask how we wanted your burger cooked ("medium" vs "well"), and I thought that was a nice touch. Also, Bleeker has beer on tap and a variety of other beverage options. The burger itself was savory, and the bun less dense than I anticipated. The components are relatively simple patty(s), onion, burger sauce, and buns. You have tomato, mustard, and mayo in bottles at your table. The burger sauce is incredibly delicious. The fries are at least double fried and offer a nice crunch. Again, the bun was so airy, and the burger so simple yet delicious I could have easily eaten another patty. I should have ordered the double cheeseburger. I did like that there were wooden disposable forks available for the saucy fries. Also, the burgers and fries came in sleek little to-go boxes. Some tips: There are 3 locations in the city, so, check and see which location is closest to you. Order the House Fries. These are double fried fries smothered in their creamy burger sauce. If you order "well done," you may want to specify if you don't want any pink, as two people in our group ordered burgers "well," and there was noticeable pink in the patties. I know it might seem tacky to get hamburgers in London, but this spot came highly recommended, and now I know why. Definitely try local London foods, but if you get a craving for burgers... go here! This burger is pretty good! I actually ate it yesterday and decided to come back! The meat is extremely fresh, almost to the point of being gamey which I am not a huge fan of- but it was juicy and well cooked. It's a fairly plain and simple burger, but that's the way I like it! I would prefer the bacon to be more flavorful and crispy, instead of kind of stretchy and fatty, but the fries were pretty good. read more

This burger place is right on the corner of a busy street. There is a podium with a tablet at the entrance where you order your food. Me being the large American male that I am I had to get their most filling double cheese burger and I was surprised at how perfectly delicious this thing was. Extremely flavorful and juicy. The staff was also excellent, they messed up on one of our orders so we were given our order free of charge the next day. Customer service at its best. Still the most flavorful burger in all of London. Stripped down and simple, the Bleecker burger comes with just onion on it and cheese/bacon to order. The beef is aged to perfection and oozes with greasy, juicy flavor. It's not a refined burger, but a dirty street food burger at the top of its game. Sides include fries and sweet potato fries either plain or angry style with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing on them. Victoria is a crowded place for burgers with Shake Shack right across the street. However, Bleecker still holds my respect for sticking to their dirty burger roots. read more

One of my favourite burger joints in London. The burgers are the best mix of delicious, juicy, slightly greasy but in that oh-so-good-moreish kind of way, and cooked beautifully pink. I really hope they bring back the signature Bleecker Black soon (a combination of beef patty, black pudding and onion sauce) - it's been a long two year wait while it's been off the menu, and it was hands down the best burger I've ever had in London, so I can't wait for it to return! In the meantime, however, the bacon cheeseburger is pretty awesome, especially if you add blue cheese sauce to it. Historically, the fries have been a bit weak (way too floppy), but they must have changed their recipe because the ones I had recently were crisp and delicious. Highly recommend the Angry Fries - the tangy buffalo and blue cheese sauce combo on fries is a revelation. The burgers are juicy and not bad, even if a bit too well done and thin, but the toasted buns are good. The chilli sauce in the angry fries makes it too sour (much more than Tabasco sauce!), and the blue cheese sauce is too watery. This place claims to do American style burgers, and as an American, I feel they're doing us proud. The burgers are delicious. Being British, they are designing to be adequate for a British sized person. Luckily, an American can also get fries (excellent and crispy) and a shake (also really good) to maintain someone our size. We're talking about going here for another very quick pre theater meal again sometime, as it's perfect for what it is. Okay, so my daughter insisted that we go back the very next night, unfortunately taking her vegetarian sister with us. Everything I said about the meat burgers and fries and shake holds. However it is not the place to take a vegetarian. She found her burger inedible. If you've got carnivores, lovely, if you have a vegetarian go elsewhere. This restaurant opened around a year ago, so the place has gone through a lot of development since then; most of the lower reviews are from that time. There is a small menu but you will not be disappointed. Everything on the menu does have cheese, but you can just ask for a hamburger and it will come without. Every time I order my burger comes out fast and tastes amazing, and they actually cook it to my liking. Now the fries, at the beginning of last year when I first ordered the fries they were soggy and burnt. However, now, they are great; I love the taste and there is a good balance between flavour and crispiness. The Milkshakes- truly one of God's best creations. They are AMAZING and made with soft serve ice cream. What could be better? Overall I am very impressed with this place and it has become a favourite in my family.
