Came here for the craft beer and they didn't disappoint. They have a large selection of interesting crafts on draft and cask. I was pleased to find some more rare offerings compared to other places in this Victoria station area that mostly had the same old offerings. I was hoping for Verdant, Track or Cloudwater or Beak but those are not here yet unfortunately so will try and find another craft bar outside of this area for those. We wanted a quick bite after returning to the city late. They stayed open till 11 and serve food until 10. We had their cluck burger and the rump. The rump burger was pretty good! You could taste the char-ness from the grill. Fries were cooked perfectly and everything tasted great with the cold beer. The cluck burger's was a little bit dry. the dijon mustard sauce it came with was so tasty and made up for the lack of seasoning on the chicken. We ordered from the bar. Bar service was great and our bartender was very nice and helpful with our drink choices! It was a weeknight when we had dinner, and it wasn't too crowded or loud. Anyone browsing my reviews will see I don't hand out a lot of five star reviews. But I have always enjoyed this place, and my visit today is off the charts good. A bluegrass (?) band is playing and doing it very well. My cheese burger is excellent and the accompanying mixed salad is not the usual afterthought but very well put together. And I haven't even got to the beers. I have enough experience to claim this place have a top-class lineup of beers. Some ten cask taps (I had four of them yet) and then another dozen+ of keg taps. Excellent beer choices. In addition the bottle/glass menu choices I have not yet explored of wines, whiskeys, bottled beers, etc. I'm having a five-star experience and I'm loving it. read more

Great bar featuring a nice selection of craft beers from the UK. It's nice to switch it up if you're looking for something besides Fuller's beers. The place also has a good selection of bottled beers, including Cantillon and Hanssens sours (winning!). They also have a pretty solid list of American beers, if you're looking for that. Since we're also about trying local beers, we had a couple from Neptune Brewing, all of which were good. They do half-pours as well? Good service with a local crowd. The burgers looked good, but didn't eat so not sure taste. Seating might be hard to come by during busy times. They have a live band on Sunday evenings! Came here for the sunday roast and had a good time. The food was delicious and we tried some good beer. Note that almost everything is self service. We made reservations and when we arrived we had to look for the table with a piece of paper with our name printed on it. All orders including food are placed at the bar. Really eager to try this place since we were staying nearby, but it's not kid-friendly. Tried to bring my family here for dinner at about 20:00 on a Friday night, but we were asked to leave. We were in London for only four nights, and we came here... three times! Yes, after touring all around England and finding mostly pleasant but unremarkable ales, we found Cask by searching Yelp and what can I say? We found our people. I couldn't tell you everything we sampled here, but suffice to say we enjoyed much of what we did try from their extensive taps, and appreciated the knowledgable staff. One half pint my husband ordered for me that I did not care for was quickly swapped out for something else, no problem. It's nice to get short pours, especially with the stronger beers, and try several. Good hamburgers, and the salad was delicious as well. It got rather crowded as the evening wore on, and noisy. I'd recommend going early, or you may have difficulty finding a seat. The weather was lovely when we visited and were able to enjoy the outside seating, but even that got full quickly. What a varied selection of beers? they have it. What a taste burger? They have it. Want to meet your mates? come early as the tables fill up! Had some great beers here so a definite plus. The sweat potato chips (fries) are very good. They have some interesting spicy on them that totally makes them way better than traditional chips. I had the cheese burger and it was very good. Nicely done and very tasty. My DC just at the regular burger and it was ok. It really does need the cheese. One thing that was cool is some of the sauces that you can try out. Found this great pub via Yelp..another great example of Yelp is amazing :-) You really have to know where to look when finding this place as, from the outside, it doesn't look like a pub. It looks like a corner store. The atmosphere really isn't that cosy, it feel more like a Wetherspoons. Along with the type of people that attends such places. The seat are hard and the decor is rather boring. They also do not serve ANY hot drinks. No coffee, tea, etc. BUT, what makes this place great is the beer and the burgers. They have SO many beers and great staff that will tell you all about them :-) I had a sweeter on that was aged in a white wine barrel. The burgers, are okay. They're more fun than great. Thus my 4 stars. Overall, this is a fun place to go to for a very chilled afternoon. I would not recommended this place for a business meeting or a romantic night out. I would recommended it for a group of good friends that is looking for something different and to enjoy great beer with decent food :-) read more

CASK Pub and Kitchen surprised me in many ways... I'm impressed! It's located in a quiet-ish area in Pimlico but be warned - it's definitely not quiet inside! It was surprisingly busy on a Friday 17:30. The bar staff was really helpful and friendly when it came to deciding on beers. I had the Pheasant Plucker cider and it was everything I ever wanted (and more). It was sweet and just really easy to drink. I also had the Heat burger which was good but not amazing. They also give you a huge tray of condiments... Which blew my mind (the honey mustard mayo especially). If I were rating the burger alone, I'd give it 3 stars. I didn't like the texture of the patty. It was too dense for my liking. The delicious blue cheese and buffalo sauce almost made up for the weird patty. Overall, great pub with amazing beer selection. I will definitely returning but not sure if I'll order the burger again. read more

There was an extensive bottle list with options easily perused in the stand-alone refrigerators. The keg and cask selection was nicely curated with probably 20 choices, all from top breweries. Beers were served in correct glassware, at the correct temperature, and tasted fresh and well cared for. Pint prices were a touch high, but you are getting a better product. In town for a couple days on business and was looking for a lively spot for a couple of pints. So glad I found CASK on Yelp. Walked in at 530 on a Wednesday and the place was very busy. Waited no time at the bar and the friendly staff offered a couple of samples of the very large selection of regional and import beers both on cask and draft. Must have been a couple dozen to choose from, not including a very robust selection of cans and bottles. Had a double IPA from the US that was absolutely delicious despite the £20+ cost of a pint. The other 2 that I had were very reasonable in price and delicious (a pale ale on cask and a local bitter). The menu looked great if you are looking for a burger but we were in the mood for something else so left after drinks. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in London. read more

Naturally I had bookmarked CASK as a stop, not only for the raves, but also because it was close to my hotel. Because, drunk priorities. I came in and was a little unsure of where to go, as I am a stupid American. Like, really really dumb. Thankfully the beer behind the bar beckoned me and I was able to order an Old Moor Porter and a burger. I sat down at one of the many open tables (early-ish on a Monday evening so it wasn't too full yet). The burger was quite delicious and I seem to have rated the porter a 3.5/5 on untappd. While I would definitely recommend to beer lovers everywhere, one star because I feel the service could have been improved.
