When you are so in the mood for a cheeseburger and fries, but you are out of the country. This meal was perfection! With the perfect British ending of sticky toffee pudding of course

Chili chicken sandwich 8.78/10- shake shack limited edition sandwich. The chicken was huge, tender, and juicy. The chili flavor was the perfect addition and was not too hot but added the best amount of spice. The brioche bun was also amazing. Pink lemonade 7.89/10- very sweet, not as sour. Refreshing. They didn't have water unfortunately but I guess this was the next best thing. Batna. Shackmeister burger 6.32/10- this was okay. The shallots honestly were a bit too much for my liking and were overpowering in flavor. Honestly I prefer the regular burger to this. A tale of shake shack runs. Thank you Shake Shack for being open until 3 am.

Shake Shack Leicester is conveniently located at the entrance of Chinatown. They have short lines and great customer service. Oh the food is absolutely delicious. The Shake Shack burger and fries (I don't even typically like waffle fries) are my favorite! Would definitely recommend this Shake Shack.

Single patty burgers; one w bacon. Cheese fries on the right.

Fast food done slow. If you have ever been to a Steak & Shake (in America), then you will recognize this food. The decor is different, and at the Shake Shack we had to stand in line and order at a counter - but the food is similar. Tasty small-patty burgers, available w 1 or 2 patties, w cheese and bacon available - check. Quality milk shakes (hence the name), frozen custard 'concrete mixers' (think DQ blizzard), fries w or w/out cheese - check. Fair to low prices in a high-dollar area - surprising check. The low prices keep it hopping at meal times; you may have to fight for a ground floor seat. (Or go upstairs.) Food served quickly? Not so much. This is fast-food, served on a school lunch tray, but it took almost 20 minutes to get our food. I don't mind a lengthy wait if I am sitting at a comfy table w a drink in my hand - but it feels long sitting in the crowd waiting empty-handed - longing for my drink and food. I'll pass next time.

Limited edition Truffle menu (beef burger & fries)

I visited SS, purely to try their limited black truffle menu. I was pleasantly surprised and it was much better than I had expected. I loved the burger, although I got my hands covered in sauce, so make sure that you have plenty of napkins! The chips, also truffle were delicious. I was really impressed. What let it down was the atmosphere. We hadn't been allowed to go upstairs in the restaurant until a table had been identified as free (new covid rules), however shortly after being seated a group of 12 teenagers came and sat around a table next to me. I felt most uncomfortable and staff were aware as one of their employees had lifted and carried another table to put with the two already there, in order to create one large table to accommodate all of the teenagers. As such, I didn't feel like hanging round long so ate up quickly and left. It was the closest I have been to people all year! Another negative was the price, I didn't think it was value for money at just under £16 for a burger, fries and a drink, of fairly small proportion. Much like Five Guys, which I also feel is extremely overpriced. The truffle menu was really tasty and I am very glad I tried it but to be honest, if looking for a meal of fast food, for value I would probably stick to McDonald's.

I ate here with 5 people. Had the mushroom burger. It had scalding hot cheese sauce in the middle and was deep-fried. Was ok for a vegetarian burger but nothing to brag about. My friends had the chicken sandwichs. They were ok but nothing that is great. The loaded hot dog was something that was interesting but wasn't that delicious.

I don't really like fast foods but this one, you guys!!! Omg so tasty. I'd definitely come back to get another hot dog with fries. So tasty.

Shack Stack, cheesy fries and a chocolate shake

It's been awhile since I had a burger experience quite like this one. The only thing I didn't like about it was the steep price, £17 for a fast food meal for one. Times have changed. That being said, it was well worth it. Their shakes are supreme, thick and creamy. I added malt to mine for extra flavour. So good. I don't normally like crinkle cut fries but these were cooked well, slightly crunchy and went down easy with cheesy! Can't go wrong there. The crown jewel was the Shack Stack burger - a regular beef burger topped with a fried mushroom burger with oozing cheese in every bite! I loved it so much I could easily have a straight mushroom burger next time. The bun is fluffy and held together well. This was a spectacular meal. Great location as well with two levels, fun to people watch and attentive staff. Worth the hype!

Really busy place, but one of the best shakes I've ever had. Better than other Shake Shacks.

Disappointed. Undercooked burgers and the shake was not like I experience in the states.

This restaurant is a chain and this particular location was super convenient for us being very close to our hotel. There was also plenty of seating so even though we arrived during prime dinner time, we were seated right away. Our waiter was awesome. Very welcoming and friendly. We were between 2 burgers: the Le Bleu Burger and the Smashed avocado burger so we asked for both to be sliced in half. This way we could both enjoy the burgers. While both burgers were delicious, the Bleu Burger was the way to go! Only one other burger place I've been to pulled off honey on a burger so I was very skeptical. But this burger was just perfect. The sweet blended with the savory so nicely. I will mention that I felt like we were waiting for our burgers for quite awhile. I almost said something because a gentleman arrived by himself a bit after us got his burger before us! I was pretty upset because his burger looked like the one we ordered so I was like not cool. He must have been a regular, but still. Despite that hiccup, the burgers were good enough to return for. Just plan accordingly and expect to wait a little bit for your food. Enjoy!

Baby back ribs: not necessarily fall of the bone type of ribs, but if you give it a good tug , some of the meats will slide off its axis. I enjoyed it for what it's worth. Obviously, the smoker is limited in scope , so I'm not expecting Texas style quality. Was a little chewy in some places, but also tender in others. Had a preference for the chiptole bbq sauce rather than the hickory. Fries were mostly good (minus the tiny bits). So close to the meats, the fries absorbed some of the smokiness flavor. Slaw: low-point of the bbq. They used way, way, too much dressing. Like it was flooded. Also the cabbage wasn't cut finely, but presented as whole chunk slices. Would definitely not recommend this one. Overall minus the slaw, I enjoyed Bodean's
