For starters i decided to order Cajun Chicken pieces that comes with sweet chilli sour cream dip. Oh my days! seriously this is one to try, it was divine in texture and taste! I then went for the Kiwi burger which was well presented and like i said before HUGE! it had 100% Angus beef with egg, beetroot, pinapple, cheese, salad and mayo. I mean WOW it was juicy and delicious, my mouth's watering as i write. You need to cut the the buger in half to eat it unless you have a bigger mouth then the average human being. I manage to make my way to the chips although i didn't finish, (the burger added with the starter was filling) The chips were not saying much personally, but the rest brilliant. I couldnt even eat breakfast the next morning i was that full. For you veggies they have a vegterain selection. Their is a selction for kids. And you can create your own buger if you dont fancy any of the burgers on the menu (i doubt it). The burgers are priced from 6 to 8 pounds but well worth it. Because its in Westfields, their so much to do, shop for starters! or afters, whatever you fancy. Their are great transport links, also their is the high street where their are pubs, other food outlets, cinema and shepard bush empire.

Wowwy wow! Talk about good burgers!…read more First off, come hungry or ready to share. Even the smalls here are larger than most burgers, and the larges are good to feed a small nation. (Related, one of the reasons they're at 4 instead of 5 stars is because they were out of large buns, so I had to settle for a large burger on a small bun. Apparently this is common.) Also, a single serving of chips is enough to share...this place doesn't skimp on quantity! I ordered the Jamaican burger and absolutely recommend it. The menu says it comes with a "mango and ginger sauce," but didn't warn me that it'd give me inappropriate thoughts. Yeah, it's that good. I didn't add any custom extras because I wanted an official sanctioned burger, but were I to go back (and I will!) I'd request onions on the burger. Though the burger is already so tasty it might not be worth the £1. The crew here was very helpful. We had never been and our server politely explained the ordering process. The wait was a bit long when trying to order, but they were crowded so can't really complain. As mentioned before, they were out of large buns, so when our food came out we mentioned we were supposed to have larges. The server promptly took our order back and was prepared to have it remade, before the unfortunate news came down. I was pleased with the service here. As a few other people have mentioned, this place is a bit pricy. You're looking at at least £8 for a burger. Add on chips and a drink and you're up to £10-12. Want a shake? Be prepared to fork over £3.50! If you want a great burger and have a some cash to spend, definitely head here!

The average meal per person here including a cocktail, starter, mains + service charges can go anywhere between £40 - £80 (depending if you get the steak or not). It's not the cheapest place to have steaks. I've had better steaks else where, but I do enjoy the service and the restaurant as a whole. Today I am having the 200g Cheese Burger - £13.50, comes with chips. They forgot to ask how I wanted my beef cooked, so it came well done. They do serve decent food, I wouldn't say it's mind blowing but it's neither bad. Not much to complain about. I would bring friends and family, they have a huge dining area. Its kids friendly and they also serve a halal menu. There's also 5pm - 9pm happy hours on selected cocktails, but it's only available on the bottom floor/ bar area.

From this point on things went downhill VERY SLOWLY (I say slowly as that is how the rest of our order was brought out). We sat there for about 40 minutes after the starter tray was removed. During this time, another party of 5 people came in and sat right behind us, ordered, had their entire meal brought out, and our order was still not brought out. Mind you, we did not order anything special. The the manager walked by and asked me "Is everything ok?" I said NO our food was not there and our drink cups were both empty. I asked for a refill on my wife's Coke and my Water, he did have the drinks refilled and had the chops to actually ring out the refill on the coke BEFORE refilling the drink. He did nothing else to check on the other issues or even offer to see what the problem was. Our original server was totally missing in action. One other server cleared the starter plate and then another brought the meal when it finally came. Just terrible service! Near the end, our original server came back and brought the bill. I paid via my Amex and she asked if I wanted to add a tip. I said "No, not this time", to which she responded "I did kind of leave you stranded for a while". Mind you, I don't like not tipping. I know they make their living from the tips, but when the service was this terrible, I just could not bring myself to tip. This is the first time in my life I did not tip a server, so that should tell you how bad the service and management staff was. Then if all this was not enough, on my Amex I was billed twice for the meal. I would tell anyone that is looking for someplace in Westfield to eat, do NOT eat at The Meat Co.

Ordered the TaxiDriver and The Don for our meal. The former was good as it had smoked chili mayo, Cajun relish, and onion ring topper. The latter was unbalanced; Gorgonzola overpowered every other ingredient in the burger like baconnaise and onion jam (could not finish). Sides came separate. We had the Skin-On Fries (probably the highlight of the meal) and GBK Coleslaw. They have a variety of dipping sauces--we got the Barbecue & Rosemary Aioli. However, the BBQ seemed more like a chunky chutney an the aioli was a tad watered down (neither worth the hefty extra charge). GBK's efforts to create an innovative menu with different ingredients are noted, but the impression was uninspiring. Our main issue was the price point. For a "gourmet" place that isn't a full service restaurant (order at counter), the bill totals were too much. 2.25 stars.

Remember your table number when placing the order. This is not your regular burger place, so expect some innovative combinations. I had the salvador - pork burger and it was quite yummy - the garlic mayonnaise in the burger was very good. Loved the sweet potato fries and the grilled corn. But the absolute winner was the nutella shake. Do download the GBK app. It offers a lot of rewards and is one of the few worthwhile to download restaurant apps. Service is extremely friendly without being overbearing. Definite revisit on the cards.
