You can select A pie from a specialty menu or build your own from the type of sauce you desire to the cheese, and other toppings. I love this place... we beat the dinner rush crowd by walking in at 7:30pm. The person who took my order is so professional and friendly! The down side- pizza could have used an extra 2mins of cooking, ice maker for the soda fountain was empty and no one was available to refilled it until we were half way done with our dinner, and the bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels... come on guys... we'd like to wash out hands after a meal. This is my second time at Blaze and it's really not as bad as I thought it would've been. The pizza is actually pretty decent for it being "fast fire'd" and the option to choose your toppings is pretty smart. This particular location is always constantly busy because it's located where Costco, Walmart, and a bunch of other shops are. The parking lot in front is insane and ordering online for pick up is the way to go. The first time I had Blaze, I got it with the regular dough which was surprisingly pretty good. This time, I got it on a gluten-free (by choice) dough which sort of made the pizza more cardboard-y. By all means, I think this is a great option to have for those that have actual gluten allergies and the toppings for the pizza allows for a lot of different options. I didn't get a chance to interact with the employees, because as I said, this place is ridiculous and ordering online and picking up is my go to. I gave this four stars because the pizza really isn't that great. The gluten-free dough was a little too hard for my liking but the ingredients that are used to make the pizza is pretty fresh. The side Caesar salad had really fresh spinach with a few pieces of croutons in there. You really can't beat the price either but I'm a fan of the concept of fast cooked fizzed with the option to throw anything you want on top. I heard so many good things about this place but I must have come on an off day or something because I was not very satisfied with the experience I had here. The place wasn't all that packed when I came in yet the staff was rushing everything they were doing. They were kind though, so i was confused about what was going on. When I finally got my food the place became insanely crowded, which makes me think my pizza was rushed out of the oven. When I opened the box, the pizza looked semi sloppy and the crust/dough was very soft still. The pizza are amazing for such a low cost and a great taste. It was a short line so I figured I would be out the door in 15 minutes. I was wrong I ended up waiting about half an hour. Although, the team was very nice they are extremely slow. Which makes it rough epically when you have hungry customers. So if your planning to come here make sure you give yourself enough time. As far as my toppings: Light red sauce, Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese, red peppers, banana peppers, jalapeños, cherry tomatoes, and my favorite spinach. I like that the wait time was minimal and that the employees were enthused about the product. Ordered a pesto with mozzarella, sausage and pepperoni. Plus two s'mores. Everything delicious and I could only get through half the pie even though i was starving. Even with the thin crust, it was very filling. There are options for thicker or gluten free as well.. This place is a hit or miss depending on who is making your pizza. I have seen ppl who are extremely unfriendly and I have seen some who are ok. Usually we go for build your own pizza. Being a vegetarian and if the person before me has ordered a pepperoni pizza or any meat I would like the server to change his gloves before he makes mine. But I have had so many problems in the past asking them to change their gloves. How difficult it is to do that? And I don't know why some ppl get mad when asked to do so. Sometimes they don't have enough toppings so make sure you check before ordering yours. Now once the pizza is ready to be put in the brick oven, it can take anywhere from 5 mins to 20 mins depending on who is looking at the oven and if they are moving your pizza inside. Sometimes I have gotten a pizza which is not cooked completely and sometimes I have gotten burnt pizza. Also when it comes to cutting it, they use the same cutter so when asked to use a fresh one for vegetarian stuff then they don't like it. Overall the whole experience of ordering is very stressful for me from here and just because of that I would never visit this place again. This is the third time being let down by this particular location. The workers here don't care enough in regards to making orders correctly. I placed an order through Doordash for a white top pizza with no bacon due to dietary/religious reasons and it still had bacon not only strewn on top but throughout and under the cheese as well. I was in the area running errands and found myself hungry for something quick, yet tasty. Blaze definitely fits this bill. From the great order work flow, endless sauce and topping combinations, and even great dessert and drink options - I have little to no complaints. I've ordered for both eating in and take out, either way, the pizza is delicious. I love that they have gluten-free and high-rise crusts available in addition to their traditional thin crust. There are great spicy options, spicy tomato sauce and jalapenos, if you like some heat to your food. My favorite part is adding fresh arugula and pesto drizzle to the top of my pizza after it comes out of the oven. Staffing at this particular location seemed well managed. There were ample workers moving the pizza making line and I also noticed workers refilling the new juices at the drink station when one was running low. Went about 3 weeks ago and while I'm not happy about the gluten free upcharge, and that they stopped pressing the GF dough to order (rather now it is pre-pressed and dries out in a drawer and gets as see-through as an old sock) I like the topping options. So I order the Art Lover's gf pizza and she puts out regular dough - so glad I'm paying attention. She gets the gf dough out of the dryer and asks me a few questions and then says "oh, we have no ricotta" - so I cancelled the order and left. I figure at this point, I've lived without this location long enough, I can live without it going forward. Sucks to stand in line for a bit, see the wrong dough put out, correct the dough, only to be told they don't have one of the main pie ingredients. Your experience will vary, of course. read more

I like the way they have them trained and ask if you want them to remove their gloves and put new ones on when you order gluten free crust in case you actually do have allergies like celiac or such. I was very tempted to give Blaze 5 stars; I'd certainly give it 4.5 were that option available to me. Perhaps I'm a prisoner of the moment, but I had been to another Blaze location once before and I remember my experience to be largely the same. I had quite a long day and while my brother and I were waiting for a toilet to thaw (long story) he asked me what I wanted to eat. It had been a while since I had pizza so I suggested Blaze since it was a quick drive down 46. Upon entering you're greeted by an industrial ambience; I'd describe it as "Chipotle with warmer colors". The floors look like bare concrete, but everything is clean enough. The line was a few people long but it moved quickly. my brother and I both opted for Build Your Own (BYO) and I won't bore you with what we got. Let me say this though, if you're prone to option paralysis DO NOT go for BYO, get a signature pie instead . There are 3 different types of crusts, 5 different sauces, 7 different cheeses, and 22 different toppings (numbers are off the top so I can't promise validity). I'm no master of combinatorics, but you can make approximately 423 different pies. That doesn't even account for the fact that you can do things like glaze your pizza's crust with pesto sauce (which I totally recommend btw). The pizza cooks extremely quickly and one pie is more than enough for a big eater like me, definitely more than enough for you normal folk. It's $8.65 for BYO which is totally worth it since you can add as many toppings as you like. If you're boring and like to limit yourself to one or two toppings the price goes down to $7 give or take. And if you're extremely boring and just want a plain pizza, just stay home (loljk it's $5.50 for a plain pie) No but seriously, c'mon you mustn't be afraid to eat a little bigger, darling. Is Blaze the best pizza ever? Subjective, but I'd say most would say no. Is it pretty good anyway? I'd say so. On the plus side if you're with a group it'll probably please everyone because who doesn't like pizza? They also have vegan and gluten-free options so there you go. read more

Ingredients are turning fast and stocked in the food service bins for quick assembly. I ordered Canadian bacon (they call it smoked ham, but com'on now lol) pepperoni, fresh basil, black olives, and jalapenos on white sauce; forgot the roasted garlic damn it. My wife had crumbled meat balls, spinach, and roasted red peppers. The pizzas were good; thin crust, but you have options for a thicker or even a gluten free dough. Bar: Some Blaze's might serve beer or wine according to the menu but I don't believe this place does. Don't think you can bring your own either, maybe, but I didn't try. Price: Pretty reasonable for the size of a pie. Sauce and cheese is $5.50, one topping is $6.75, two topping is $7.75, and build your own is $8.65 for unlimited toppings. I've been here quite a few times now, and I've noticed that the food varies depending on the type of day. Sometimes, the crust is cooked perfectly crispy, while other days it can be soft and soggy. The most important factor are the ingredients and not to overdo them. I usually go for the 1 top pizza and can add finishes at the end for added toppings (arugula,pesto drizzle). My pizza today was quite soggy with the wrong quantity of ingredients (too much sauce, too little cheese) mostly due to the fact that they were running low on mozzarella cheese. The staff working seem quite depressed but they will still do their job of greeting/taking your order properly.
