We really enjoy coming here the pizza is delicious BUT it has changed! No one says hello when you walk in anymore you feel the air conditioner air-conditioning is broken so there are fans everywhere. This staff is very nice. You have to actually ask questions and they were helpful. Thank you. We got three pizzas. The first two were cooked. OK probably 80% and then the third one was a little overcooked but taste delicious. I went into the bathroom It was 730 and it was not clean and no toilet paper when I asked for toilet paper, I kind of got the feeling that I was bothering her. I ordered a pizza to go and they don't ask for names anymore and they gave me the wrong pizza so I gave it back to them. Thank goodness the person was standing right there and then she gave me mine. There's no conversation there's no customer service. The place has really gone down. So when I came out of the bathroom, I looked behind the line where they do everything in the floors are filthy. The restaurant is just not clean. They really have gone downhill. We will go back. I really like the pizza a lot but someone needs to really really give it some TLC. It's missing!!!! read more

After shopping nearby, we were ready for a touch of lunch. We've been to other restaurants in this chain, so decided to have some pizza here. As we entered the restaurant, we saw their signs for their "new" meatball appetizer, and it piqued our interest. We wound up ordering the meatballs and a pizza to share. The meatballs were not cooked in the oven or reheated in front of us -- as we thought they would be. Instead, they were taken out of a large pot behind the counter and plated. They were just okay. And we both agreed that now that we had tried them, we would not order them again in the future. The pizza was a much better experience. We were sharing and they were nice enough to do the pizza with different sauces and toppings on each half. I really liked my white pizza with bacon and mushrooms, and he enjoyed his tomato sauce one. And it was just the right size to share. They weren't busy when we stopped by so we had fairly fast service. And there's plenty of free parking right outside the store. I'm glad we came here. This is a quick place to grab a personal pizza. They have personal pies for up to $12. They also have a meal deal for $15. We came in and they were not super busy, but we were not the only ones in the restaurant either. They had fairly quick service and everyone working was friendly. Imagine a chipotle or Panda Express, where you go through the line picking out what you want and you get it at the end. This place is very similar to that, just with pizzas. We got the spicy pepperoni, which was good but not too spicy. A custom pepperoni with roasted garlic pizza. A spicy cheese bread, and a side Caesar salad. I can't get enough of their delicious fired meatballs - a simple yet irresistible combination of meatballs, ricotta cheese, banana peppers, and marinara sauce. Went for lunch right when they opened at 11am. The place was dead with no guests or lines. The lady who took my order also made my pizza and cashed out my order. I had never been to a Blaze Pizza before and think it's basically a coal-fire pizza place that has similar strategy as a Starbucks and car dealership service department. You start by picking a pizza. The specialty pizzas are $11. They ask if you want regular thin crust or thick crust, but don't tell you it's $3 more for thick crust unless you ask. Then they ask if you want any other toppings, but don't tell you it costs more unless you ask. Next they place it in a cool looking flame oven and move it around a couple times, take it out, and ask if you want any special drizzles (those are free). So it's basically a little bit of a hip or trendy show. The whole process took at most 5 minutes from order to checkout. The pizza was delicious, but the crust is almost paper thin. I ate the whole pizza in a couple minutes and would say it's the equivalent of maybe 2 slices of Papa Johns pizza. The toppings were good and in particular I liked the meatball topping on the meat pizza. WIth tip it costed around $12.50 which is more than I usually pay for an XL Papa Johns Pizza, so I probably won't go anymore just for financial reasons. read more

The staff there are always pretty friendly and fast with bringing orders out. If i wanna go shopping before or after, i can stay in the same plaza and browse TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Best Buy, etc. However, the Wellington Mall is also conveniently just 5 minutes away. I've only dined in once so I can't say how clean this establishment truly is. I prefer take out. Regardless, I'm gonna keep coming back because it does the job! read more

I like this type of pizza - all I can choose the stuffings. So, came to try it out. The crust was already flattened before I order and had been sitting on the racks, don't know how long it had been. So, the crust was not that fresh. Not sure if that's the reason why the crust lacked of texture. The pizza burnt a bit on the crust and a little greasy. It tasted so so, not much flavor though. And somehow it didn't have the smell that pizza should have. Normally pizza smells great, but not Blaze pizza. Not sure why. My and my hubby ordered two pizzas, one each. We asked to add pasto on top afterwards, but they forgot. We had to go back to ask again. No cheese, crushed paper, tableware... etc. in public, had to ask for it. I ordered 5 pizzas and cheesy bread to be delivered through the Blaze website. I tipped well. The driver was incredibly late (I had to provide turn by turn as she didn't understand gps). Only 4 pizzas arrived with cheesy bread. Uber driver was not incorrect as one of the specials was for two pizzas for $27 so it showed quantity of one(as in one special) and she was told by Blaze the total quantity was 5 (Torá actually 6 ITEMS). One of the pizzas was missing toppings and multiple pizzas were either undercooked or burnt. I tried to call the restaurant and was never able to get a hold of anyone despite numerous attempts. I left a message. I still haven't heard from anyone. This was 1/13. I still have not been refunded for the pizza. I aso expect a refund of the $4.99 delivery fee. Not worth the crazy price and the complete inability to reach anyone if there is something wrong with your order. This is the third time ordering from Blaze and other two times all food arrived on time and correct, but undercooked. Not great, but not a big deal compared to this time. read more

So I don't want to sound like an ageist but this place stands out among the rest of the you build it they bake it style pizza joints for one distinct reason and that is they hire mostly young employees who are not properly trained in the business. And I get it, everyone's gotta start somewhere but maybe just a little more training. Otherwise the pizza is typically good. Sometimes we've had some bad experiences. On this night I had the new trainee making my pizza which is why it's lopsided. The taste was on point and those ingredients tasted fresh however, when we mentioned maybe standing by the trainee and helping them would be wise the employees response was "ya that's just how we do things here" which was not very polite or professional. The drink machine is in bad shape and made me sick to my stomach looking at that dispenser spout. Definitely needs a deep clean! The establishment needs a visit from a manager I think and things will ok be better! Overall the pizza is decent and fresh tasting. Maybe there are better locations. read more

I am a big fan of the Blaze chain but this was my first time at the Wellington location. Wow! Friday night at 7 it was super busy! We got on line almost towards the back of the store but it moved quickly. There were about seven staff members on the line to expedite orders. It has been a while since I have been to Blaze so I was pleased to see a new menu item: Half a pizza (make your own) with half a salad. I thought this was a great chance to get some veggies in and be a bit healthier. You get a choice of any salad including Greek, Caesar, and my choice, the Apple, Feta, Cranberry. The salads are pre-made in small batches. My salad was okay but not something I would run back to order again. I really think Blaze should stick to pizza. I love everything about the pizza at Blaze. I have not found a competitor yet that does as good a job with crust, sauce, and variety of toppings. There was a nice array of beverages including the Aqua Fresca. I particularly enjoyed the Coconut Aqua Fresco. One improvement for this Blaze could be the cleanliness. Tables were left dirty for most of the time we were there. It was not until we were leaving that the tables were somewhat cleaned and I saw a staff member making hospitality rounds. Overall though, a tasty, filling, inexpensive meal. And if the line is too long or you suddenly have a carb aversion, you can always go to Bolay next door! read more

Staff is miserable, every. Single. One! No greeting, no smile, no eye contact. Not used to this because the one at Traditions in Port Saint Lucie is the total opposite. Excellent pizza w fresh ingredients. Management is apparently non-existent or blind. Tables are never wiped off and the condiment and drinks stations are usually a disaster - dirty and unorganized. The food is great and employees are usually pleasant. New manager needed who pays attention to the front of the house. We eat there about once a week because my daughter loves the pizza. When we finally get to the pick up our pie, they had no idea whose was whose and mine came out without tomato. The manager said no one was prepping. She explained there were 3 new people. 3 new people out of the 5 that were in the building. There was zero communication, zero team work, and zero customer service. No need to name the delivery service because Blaze has to fix this... Anyway when my pizza arrived it had nothing protecting the box from being opened and the box looked like it was opened. Not Good. We don't know these delivery people! They could be weirdo's and do something weird to the pizza, which you'd be blamed for and I'd be extremely ticked off. All it takes is a sticker or even tape to keep the box closed so customers will feel confident about eating it. I took one bite and felt loopy from the stress of not knowing... What a fantastic start to the weekend as we are going from the " Hurricane" to the " Blaze"!! This is a pretty prestigious block of restaurants with Bolay and Blaze as bookends and Jersey Mike's ironically sandwiched in between. I love, love, love pizza and actually stopped by at 2 pm, very excited to see the flame going in the oven and 2 smiling faces greeting me. " Welcome to Blaze, we will be open at 5 pm today." No worries, honey do's for a couple of hours and then some free weights to build up the appetite and I was parked outside Blaze at 4:59 pm all fired up!!! There were 17 people in the line before me. The line moved very quickly. Decided on the Build your own pizza on their original crust with any and unlimited topping for just $7.95. Andrew, the very cool manager suggested a little pesto dressing that he brushed my crust with in addition to the traditional marinara. I went a little bonkers with the mozzarella, red onions, banana peppers, black olives, tomatoes, artichokes, mushrooms, zucchini, garlic pearls( can never have enough garlic) and then some more marinara dobs and oregano on top. This combo really worked ; the pizza was hot, everything was cooked well with no raw tastes. The pesto and marinara duo for the base is my new go to !! Loved it!! One of the concerns and realities in the past with other pizzerias has been that with eleven toppings they taste like a different entity and do not blend with the pizza and the sauce. You eat the topping as it is falling off and then take a bite of the crust. Not here - it really was just perfecto!!! NYers, ok I'll speak for myself love to fold the slice even if it is just 3 inches wide. I did and nothing fell off. All ingredients gelled together magnificently. Loved it!! Delicioso!!! I did ask for a little sea salt to sprinkle on a couple of bigger and loaded slices. Great and very sweet staff. Sammy put all my toppings on my great pizza. Blaze is pretty good in my opinion but the employee encounter i had today wasn't though. I walked over to the register to grab my drinks from my online order and I asked the girl ( looked Hispanic, probably in her late teens ) handing me them if I could forward my payment to the fundraiser they were holding that evening. I said it once and she looked at me like I was stupid and it honestly really ticked me off bc she then didn't say a word. I kept it to myself but then asked again and all she had to say was "ask her" and pointed to the worker making the pizza ( tall girl w glasses ). This Employee was super kind and helpful, I really appreciated that.
