I'm not from Florida and sometimes when I interact with dunderheads from here, I want to meet them where they're at. Last time, I was literally standing in front of the register with a worker when this rude heffa walks in and starts talking to the guy at the register. He almost pissed me off when he asked her name until I saw he was multitasking, told her to give him a second as he was finishing up printing my ticket. Otherwise I've ordered from him twice and both my pizzas have been pretty good at this location. The extra cheese be cheesing lol except the last one needed sauce. I absolutely LOVE calzones!!! The bread, meat and especially the ricotta cheese!!!!! I had been craving one since last night so I was determined to get one today! The pizza parlor I normally get my calzones from closed down so I decided to check out Marco's Pizza. I placed my order online for delivery. They called and verified my order (meat lover's calzone and 6 wings) as well as the delivery address. They said it would be 30-45 minutes. They showed up in less than 30 minutes and the food smelled amazing (insert my happy dance)!!!! The wings were delicious!!! I cut into my calzone fully prepared for the ricotta to invade my taste buds....imagine my surprise when there was NO RICOTTA CHEESE!!!! I ordered a calzone, not a stromboli! I am so disappointed. First time trying this pizza place! Their pizzas and cinnamon rolls are very good. We ordered a few different pies to try. I really like the spicy sausage pizza and their pepperoni pizza! They even make cute heart shaped pizzas! Customer service was excellent and they made all of our pizzas pretty quickly. The inside of the restaurant is clean and modern. Everytime I go into Marcos Pizza on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, i get lousy service. I had a coupon that came in the mail and the server would not honor it, he kept telling me it was a limited time offer, but the coupon did not have an expiration date on it. It had just came in the mail a few days ago. Everytime i go to this location I have a problem. its always an upsale on the pizza. Why make customers feel cheated out of their money. Service is Lousy, the cashiers are never nice, and if you asked for the specials, they tell you there is only this or this and i personally didn't want to spend that kind of money. Delicious food and excellent service! This brand new Marcos had opened a couple of months ago very close to the Palm Beach Outlets. It's nice to order quick pick up or delivery for the whole family. We all love the food and our goal to try everything on their menu! They make their dough fresh and have a lot of options in addition to their pizza like subs, calzones, cinnamon twists, salads, brownies, wings etc Their pizza has a gluten free option and even a red sauce vs white sauce pizza. The workers are very welcoming and accommodating to all my family and I's requests like having specific toppings on just a few slices of pizza and even making a heart shaped pizza for Valentine's Day! The owner of the restaurant that delivered my pizza is fabricating. At one point he says that I called demanding for a free pizza. I called to tell them the pizza toppings were all stuck to the top of the box, they said they would come pick it up. They never showed up. I finally called, explained that I had to leave and I could no longer wait for them to come pick this pizza up. they explained that they had no delivery drivers to come pick up the pizza, that they would give me a credit for the next time I came in. When I came in a week later, they flat-out refuse to replace the pizza so I left, called the number of the person who delivered the pizza to me which was the owner. He was extremely combative and refuse to replace the pizza,so, of course, I got angry. When he originally delivered the pizza, if he knew the development as well as he says he does, he wouldn't have went into the back entrance, he would have went into the main entrance on Congress Avenue. When you pull into the complex, you can go to the left which they changed to a one-way. Everyone drives down that way because there's no point to driving through the entire complex to come back up to the front to gain access to the front of the complex. If you turn right, it takes you through the entire complex. I gave him turn by turn directions only because he couldn't find the place. The only reason I asked that they call upon arrival is because I live behind the security door,he would not be able to gain access to the building if the door was closed all the way. But he chose to go all through the entire complex. And even if he did goes all the way through the complex, I explained to him that it is just one big circle. I live in the very beginning of the complex facing Congress Avenue. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. After him driving around for 10 minutes through my complex I told him that I didn't want the pizza anymore and to just take it back. I figured it'd be cold.I hung up,called the store, said I no longer wanted the pizza, the driver was lost and could not find my apartment. The driver kept calling me but I was on the phone with the store. When I got off the phone there was a message from him that the pizza had arrived. I did not insist on no contact, only explained that i was sick. And he could just simply leave it outside my door. The tip was taped to the door.I open my door, the pizza was sitting there, when I opened it the toppings were stuck to the top of the box. I did immediately call the store. They were supposed to come pick up the pizza. they never came explaining that They didn't have any drivers to come pick it up. At which time they told me that they would give me a credit. If they were not going to replace my pizza, why did they tell me that they would? I did not insist upon a lower price for the pizza, I simply asked if there were any specials. The person on the phone when I originally ordered the pizza said yes, they do have a special and I believe it was 12.99. I paid by credit card and I have my credit card statements to prove how much my food cost me. It was 16.83 plus tip which was taped to the front door. And so with tip, it cost me $30. The only point that I got angry is when he couldn't find my apartment with simple turn by turn directions oh, his refusal to take the pizza back when I told him that I didn't want it and then to deliver a pizza to me that the toppings were stuck to the top of the box. When I went back into the store the following Saturday after they told me that they were going to replace the pizza because they were unable to come pick it up because they had no drivers. I then again was upset because they were not going to replace it. I turned around, walked out, got in my car, and called the number of the person that kept calling and calling my phone to deliver the pizza. This turned out to be the owner. He was extremely rude and refused to replace the pizza. So yes, of course I was angry. He was condescending, rude, and I end up having to hang up on him because the conversation was going nowhere. So again, I might as well just throw my money out the window on I-95. I will never order pizza from this place again. And now to threaten me with legal action over a pizza? This shows you what kind of person the owner is. I will tell anyone that will listen of my experience. He acts like I was trying to get a free pizza out of them when I told them I didn't want it when he couldn't find my place . Then when delivered it was inedible . They said he'd pick it up, he never showed up, Had he just simply replaced my pizza that day or replaced it the following Saturday, we wouldn't be here right now. All this over something that probably cost him less than $5 to make. So now he pissed off a potentially good customer, which I'm sure he could care less.
