This place felt like a pizza joint that got sentenced to life without parole. The ambiance? Think neighborhood pizzeria crossed with a maximum-security cafeteria. Half expected a guard to yell, "No talking on the sauce line!" The pizza itself had a bold, innovative texture I can only describe as artisan rubber. If you enjoy flavorless and chewing with commitment, you'll love it. The flavor profile hovered somewhere between "cardboard nostalgia" and "regret without oregano." Service was impressively... absent, and rude. In hindsight, I should have listened to the silence when nobody answered the phone for two days prior-- On the bright side, the place is unforgettable. This is a great local pizza place with some good Italian food. The garlic knots are excellent. The sandwiches are very good. They have the best antipasta salad around. But the best thing they have is there hoyse made salad dressing. They sell the dressing in bottles and I can't recommend it enough. The prices are low compared to competitors and the food is better. The owner and staff are very nice people and the restaurant is clean. The service is very good and it's a pretty quiet atmosphere. It's a small place and never gets real loud. Pre ordered the pizza. Arrived at the appointed time and was told it would be 7 or 8 minutes. Wound up waiting 15 minutes. The pizza was not what I ordered. I ordered the thin rust and got the thick crust pizza. Should have checked it before I left. I have had their thin crust pizza on many occasions and it was always good. This pizza was not. This place is hidden away next to West Marine, Dollar Tree, Doris's Italian market. It's a cozy place & a favorite. It really does live up to its name. We loved BA Pizza in Stuart and Jupiter however, with Jupiter closed and a craving for their Antipasto Salad we drove to North Palm. It was smaller and not very well kept. The shakers and menus were all dirty and sticky and they seemed more focused on delivery and carry out. I had to use a napkin to pick up the shakers. Had a craving for pizza after a day of fishing. Stopped in about 30 mins before closing. We were not given a hard time about ordering so late. Grabbed a meatball pizza and side salad. I'm not a huge fan of pizza typically, but there's a few sauce/cheese/crust combos that I love and this was one of them. The sauce was rich and fresh tasting. We devoured it and then wished we had more. Only complaint is the house dressing was a little sweet for me, a splash of red wine vinegar fixed that. read more

I found this place a few years ago while visiting a local brewery. Big Apple Pizza delivers to the brewery and I decided to try their Eggplant & Ricotta pizza that night. That's it. The service and ambiance was fine. They were nice over the phone. Pizza is moderately priced ($20 for a white pie) Pizza was pretty bad. Ordered a white pie with ricotta. Most of the pizza was bubbles, about 2 inches of it was crusts. Ricotta was layered around edge of pizza, and there wasn't enough cheese on the pizza. Dry and unsatisfied. If I'm going to pay $20 for a pizza, at least make it good. Definitely doesn't taste like a big apple pizza. read more

Never been here for dinner, but lunch always a delight. Classic pizza, subs and spaghetti all above par. Any place that continues to provide meals for kids at Benjamin middle school at least 6-7 years I know. My daughter always was happy when Big Apple catered on Thursday's. Who knew? The Palm Beaches have a full time circus: Big Apple Pizza. This place is a clown show. Dining in? I went to Big Apple Pizza last night for the 1st time to get pizza for my son and the owner must've overheard me on the phone stressing about needing help boarding up my windows. Because after I paid for my pizza and as I was leaving he asked me are you okay are you ready for this hurricane and I told him not yet still looking for someone to help board up my windows & he told me don't worry we can help you & had me to give my name and number to the super sweet girl that was at the counter and she said she will contact me later. I went home and ate their delicious pizza and 30 minutes she texted me and gave me a number to text & the guy responded immediately & true to their word he came over to my house this morning to help me board up my windows! OMG the worse Italian sub ever! went to Doris' who have the best Italian sub that I have found, they had a long line so tried Big Apple. Wont step foot in there again. the establishment was not very clean, that should have been a sign, but the girl taking the orders had to have been on drugs. She could not sit still, dropping everything she touched and the guys making the pizza had to keep asking her what the customer ordered because they could not read her writing. One of the guys seemed to have been a manger or even an owner. I left there in shock. 2 bites of the sub and in the garbage it went. read more

When I lived in North Palm Beach, FL, this was the place to go for amazing pizza. As the name implies, they serve NY-style pizza. IMO, this is the best pizza in all of Palm Beach County. The employees there are jerks and treat their customers like crap, but I guess they can get away with it 'cause the food is so good. If I still ate pizza, I would go here in a heart beat. read more

Admittedly, I don't really care for New York Style pizza, but what we ordered here was not New York Style pizza either. Maybe they are referring to the Sicilian style, but our Neapolitan pizza was oily, overly crisp and tasted like something from Sbarro. The garlic knots were delicious but caused me some discomfort later on due to whatever oil they use. The staff isn't rude at all, but they are terse in a way that I guess is supposed to make East Coasters feel at home. It really felt out of place for the more laid back attitudes of the other beach pizza places I frequent. Still they were nice enough and the food came out quickly so you can't fault them on it. With all of the choices you have for pizza in the area, I have a hard time recommending these guy. But if you like cheap pizza that is still admittedly better than Hungrie Howie's, you will still find something here. read more
