This place is great, the workers are super friendly and get the pizza ready super fast. One worker in particular named Lettie is super sweet and makes me feel welcome, I love when she makes my pizza! read more

If you have not tried Blaze pizza, you're missing out. The number of ways you can customize your pizza is incredible! I loved that they had a half pizza combo that I got with a salad. It was the perfect amount of food. The crust was so thin and crispy. It was way better than I expected for essentially a fast food pizza place. It's also super cool that you can watch them make the pizza in their giant pizza oven. read more

First time customer. They don't have this chain in Minnesota, so I was excited to try it out. We got the meatball pizza and a pizza with cauliflower crust, pesto sauce, vegan cheese and broccoli. I tried both and, while vastly different, both were tasty. This location was in the heart of a downtown area and parking was metered. The staff were very helpful and assisted me in choosing my order. Bathrooms were clean. The restaurant was very clean and had a trendy/sterile vibe. If you've been to PUNCH pizza in Minnesota, this has the same vibe...but better imo. read more

Probably one of the better pizza places if you would like a custom pizza. There are plenty of options you can chose from. The staff works very quickly and if you have any questions or have never been there, they are great at trying to guide you at what you may like. This place is a pretty laid back. I also think you get what you pay for. There are add ons at the end I would recommend looking at after your pizza is done. The staff will usually help you out if you don't know if you do/don't want something. read more

I have visited Blaze a number of times and have always felt like it was a welcoming restaurant. Unfortunately with my last visit I came in and was greeted by a short lady with blonde hair. She made our pizzas and as she was checking out my boyfriend and I out she had made a comment about her own children and how hard it is to be a mom which I thought to be odd. She then looked towards my stomach and had asked me if I was pregnant myself. I was completely caught off guard and felt completely wronged and violated by such a comment coming from another woman. I hope that no one else has to experience this but I feel like this is not a one off incident. read more

Always fast service, keeps me coming back for that carnivore pizza love the variety of drizzles at the end never disappoints

Fine. Some of the better pizza in Lincoln, which is not a high bar, alas, as it's dominated by god awful local chain.

A great place to get your personalized custom pizza. Situated nicely in downtown Lincoln, near the university with plenty of seating inside. Recommend their Chicken BBQ if you're feeling overwhelmed with the custom choices. read more

The hot link specialty pizza is incredible. It has enough spice, but not too much. Staff was friendly and the food came out fast. My only gripe is that the ice machine may need serviced - there were black things floating in all of our waters. Gross! read more

Service is really good and the pizza is done really fast. It reminds me of a subway kind of but with pizza and I am all for it. The brick oven really steals the show and spices up the whole place. The crust is absolutely delicious and the whole place seems really homey. read more

Was in Lincoln Nebraska today for lunch with my daughter. Saw blBze Pizza right near campus so we decided to go there. This was my first time there but daughter has been there a time or two before. I can't remember the specific name but I got the all meat pizza and my daughter got the pizza with ricotta cheese and artichoke hearts. The pizza was cooked so fast and I was so surprised. It was very flavorful and a good size pizza for the price. I can see me heading back here sometime in the future. I do wish they had more pre-made pizzas on the menu to select from. Other than that a nice lunch today read more

Custom pizza and fast food. It's a tough combination. When we arrived for lunch the place was hoppin'. So hoppin' that the folks behind the counter were kind of a mess. It started out great and then got progressively worse, ending with the manager dumping an entire bottle of oil all over the counter because he was in such a rush to get those pizzas out. I feel like this could be done better. I don't have a solution, but when you have you're team and all it's glory out their for everyone to see, I think is also part of the customer experience. So, the wait was long. I kind of expected that. Again, custom pizza and fast food. Why? Anyway, we got our food and it was good enough. I got the buffalo chicken salad because it was the healthiest thing I could find on the menu. For the price, the salad was eh. It's small. The person preparing it was lovely, took her time to explain the process to me since I was new. The sauce has some heat. Ingredients were fresh. The chicken is like processed little bits, not fresh chicken. My friend ordered the Green Stripe pizza and I had a slice. There's not a lot to it but it was yummy. I love thin crust. She ordered it with the spicy red sauce, which was not too spicy, it did have a little kick to it. Loved the pesto flavor and chunks of minced garlic. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Kindler Hotel in Lincoln last week. We didn't want to drive to a restaurant so we tried to find something within walking distance that we hadn't had before! We found Blaze just a few blocks away and went to go and try it out! It's a create your own pizza spot and I loaded up my pizza with toppings! Pepperoni, Chicken, Artichokes, Corn, Spicy Red Sauce, Olives, Mushrooms and Red Peppers. It was pretty good and it doesn't break the bank by any means. We totally missed drizzling extra sauce on our pizzas at the end, which was a bummer and my mushrooms could have been cooked a little more, however I did overload on toppings so maybe that just makes sense. We enjoyed it, it was tasty, didn't break the bank, but just not sure if it would be something to write home about! We wouldn't mind stopping in again! read more

Quick, clean, so many options!!! Love this fast casual pizza place. The do have some bottled beers & seltzer options as well. Very friendly staff! This was our 1st time and one of the food options in our UNL students apartment building. Lots of seating inside or take to go and eat right outside in the adjoining courtyard. The possibility and choices are endless! Very reasonable prices as well. read more

Great potential, poorly executed. Ingredients are hit and miss quality. Food is prepared quickly but without much quality control. Crust may be underdone or, more often, burned. I've been to other Blaze franchises that are much better operated and consistent in quality so I know it can be done. Menu and ordering/paying process is confusing with kids behind the counter showing little interest in helping. Been here a few times so this is a pretty consistent experience. Everything is dirty - tables, ingredient area behind counter, floor, trash area. Not a good look for downtown Lincoln. read more

Thought I was being punked. Not to be super rude, but the staff was moving at -5 mph. There was one person in line in front of us when we got in. From walking up to the counter to getting our pizza in the oven, it took 20 minutes. There were online orders in front of us but the person building those pizzas was CRAWLING to the point where my girlfriend asked me afterward if I'd seen Zootopia where the sloths are running the DMV. She was trying not laugh... or cry. https://youtu.be/4aUC1VZQE1E About starting eating my own clothing. No one wants to see that. I like Blaze a lot. This was really really bad though. If you want fast food & craving pizza this could work for you! Pizza size is approximately 12" thin crust with endless toppings to choose from. No pre-orders, you wait in line with everyone else thru the assembly of each station. The line moves quickly. I had about 10 people ahead of me & was in & out less than 15 minutes! All the veggies look fresh, not so sure about the meat? (Prepackaged maybe or ??) Overall, this meal was serviceable. read more

I've yet to be disappointed with pizza here. Have tried a variety of combinations and some other sides. Really, it seems to be the best pizza in town now. Thin crust, not over cooked or undercooked, hot and flavorful. It's not New York wood fired pizza, but it's a yummy quick meal when you're having a craving. read more

A good dash and grab pizza place. Service was friendly and welcoming. There is no student discount for UNL students. I had the green stripe pizza. I love pizza... Did I mention I love pizza. Especially good pizza. Frozen pizza, ok, sure. Delivery pizza, ok, sure. Ny slice, yes, please Chicago deep dish, uh huh, you betcha. Totinos pizza rolls... Have I been drinking? Yes, then let's roll baby. Blaze... It's pretty darn good. And when you let me take a fresh made dough ball, and load it up with whatever toppings I choose... Toast it up in a wood fired oven... Then charge me $7.95. Man oh man... Bring. It. On. Did I mention I love pizza. What a great deal. Toppings are fresh. Crust is nutty and toasty. The drizzle is freezle. The Parmesan shakers are plentiful... The even got siracha for the millenials. And millennials love pizza. Did I mention I do too? Blaze. It. Up. Good pie. Good price. Yum. There's one for you in the oven. Get there. read more

I've been to this Blaze a few times, and the pizza is AMAZING. not good...great. This is the chipotle (but better) of pizza. You pick all your toppings. Generous portions for 8$! The pizza comes out quick once you are through line. Now for the hit and miss section - service and whether it's slightly burned. I've been there when service is friendly and fast. And I've been there when service was slow and disinterested in you and your pizza (this was when it was slow and mostly empty too, so wasn't just because it was rush). So you never know which you will get. They also occasionally over cook the pizza. Not the end of the world but you don't want to take the time to go remake it, so it's a major bummer. I'm giving 4 stars because of the hit and miss stuff. If they can clean up the service and get more consistent with the cooking it's a slam dunk 5 stars. Totally worth checking out. read more

I had ordered from the online website at around 4, for a delivery order due for delivery at 7. It ended up not getting delivered till about 8. That really isn't a big deal. I work in the food business. I've also worked for Blaze. I understand days like this are stressful. It's a very high volume location. I think the thing that bummed about is that my ingredients where only half correct, I understand if something is missed or maybe one vegetable, but you took out one ingredient and gave me three I didn't ask for. I hope you guys improve on this. As for the pizza it was great as ever. They use very quality items in every pizza, and to be able to put out such a high volume of pizzas is a very high task. Overall this was my first bad experience with Blaze. I still would recommend it. I just hope they can fix this problem. The amount of ingredient mixup is frustrating. read more

I love blaze pizza, yet the location is 50/50. sometimes we have great service and other times when the younger employees are working, they don't seem to care about the customer. when I ordered doordash once from Blaze, they were out of a dessert i ordered and the only notification I got to be made aware of this was a message on the box saying "out of s'mores pies ):" no compensation in anyway and my pizza was missing the red onions that typically come on the pizza. the service is hit or miss. read more

Gave one star due to the very rude treatment we received from the guy running cash register and oven. I tried to use the app to earn rewards and I accidentally held it under twice and it froze up the register. He got very upset was slamming things around. I apologized several times saying sorry, it usually gives a message that it scanned app. He said it beeped. So went to next register. I had to ask for my cup as he already was ringing up the next customers. He was slamming the pizza boards and was running oven too. I watched several people thank him after he called their names and he would just walk off. So rude and childish. He should be happy to have a line and business when things been hard. I stood there as my pizza sat out done. He purposely kept helping other customers to delay giving me mine. Businesses can go out of business by one staff member like this. read more

Your posted hours are not being followed by employees... we tried to go many times finding the doors locked while people were still in line ordering their pizzas and dining. On many of the occasions it was locked up hours before the posted hours. What they heck is going on?? Change your hours online and on the door if you are going to change your hours. It's extremely annoying to drive all the way downtown, park, walk to the restaurant, only to find the doors locked 45 minutes before the posted time. Also, we've found the staff to be rude the few times we actually got in to try the pizza. Place was a mess and completely disorganized. Sad part is... they pizza is actually good.
