It was really good. Had a nice and energetic ambiance in the inside, and a patio to get away from the loudness coming from within. Workers were nice and friendly. The place is exactly like pieology. You get to customize your pizza and put as much toppings you want on your pizza. It's essentially Subway, but with pizzas. All the pizzas are thin-crust so they get cooked relatively fast and you get your food within 5-6 minutes. For my first time I didn't customize my pizza and decided to choose one of their signature pizzas. What I got was called a "Green Stripe," which has chicken, red peppers, garlic, arugula, pesto, and mozzarella. Pizza was nicely cooked, crispy, and was packed full of flavor. If you ever decided to get the "Green Stripe," watch out for the pesto/olive oil, because it will get on your hands and is very hot. I also got their Gorgonzola Salad which was surprisingly good if you don't pour all of the dressing. Overall, the experience was very good. Pizzas are a good portion for $8. Pizzas are crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend the place and you should give it a try, even if you don't really enjoy pizza. read more

The dough is cooked to perfection and the ingredients are always fresh - prices are great for a personal pizza or if you are just craving a snack, sharing is a good way to go. Was really impressed with their customer service recently: someone decided to unscrew the lid on the one of the communal oregano containers and my best friend ended up with a beautiful pizza covered in oregano, was replaced immediately by the manager there and a new pizza order was placed at the front and was finished in five minutes. I have been a Blaze fan since they opened in Davis. But am now very disappointed with the changes. I had used there app for flames and went almost weekly. I also brought friends. Now you need many more flames before gaining any rewards. They downsized their soda size. But the flame that burned me was the puny downsize of their brownies. I had loved their brownies. But now they cut the size in half and they're so dry and puny. Its definitely not worth the price. With the downsize of the food, especially the brownie, the increase in price and lack of reasonable rewards, I won't be going to Blaze any more......very disappointed!!! read more

It's always iffy when we try new gluten free restaurants. This did not disappoint. Not only did they have great selection and prices (GF crust only $3 more) but the wood fired pizzas were delish! Tasty, light, crispy crust with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. This pizza can easily feed two (unless you're a 6'3" guy like my hubby then order a whole one for yourself!) We sat on patio which was nice and it as loud as inside (I have hearing loss so too loud to sit inside). My 14 yr old loved the pizza too. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Haven't been disappointed by blaze yet. This place is the best build your own personal pizza place I have been to, and the selection of toppings is pretty expansive. It costs around $8 per pizza after tax and usually people wont end up finishing so you will have some pizza to take home... I have been to blaze probably 6 times and I haven't gotten tired of it. The ingredients are good, the pizza is what you make of it, and the price is absolutely fantastic. When the pizza comes out it has not been wet even once (looking at you pieology) and the service is really fast and accommodating. This is my favorite place I have been to in Davis so far, hands down. Probably will be coming back next week. read more

I come here all the time and have learned that online order is the way to beat the long line during the school year and have never had an issue with my order, but the last time I came in to pick up my order I was given the wrong pizza with the right ticket and handed the pizza back to the guy behind the counter showing him the ticket and telling him this is not what I ordered.
