I'm not sure if I'm the only one that feels this way or if others feel the same, but the tall guy with glasses and the big fro hair always makes me so uncomfortable because he doesn't seem like he has customer service skills and is just very unpleasant. He doesn't smile, doesn't say hi, condescending when he speaks, and gives a lot of attitude. No customer wants to walk into an establishment and pay money just to feel mistreated and uncomfortable. We came here @ 830pm was not busy. We got our food like any other place food is good like any othe pizza. Disliked that they block off the restrooms at 830 . Disliked that one of the guy was sweeping in the location we sat. When I got up to refill my drink he was sweeping under the table we're my wife sat. I found that to be extremely rude. This was my first time at this Blaze Pizza location in Arcadia. Usually I go to one of the other locations but with online ordering those locations didn't have much toppings which was probably just a weird inventory thing. But I came here to the Arcadia store with my sister and it was a great decision. We got here right before the lunch rush so were you able to take our time and not feel rushed through the pizza designing process. The team was very nice and accommodating and they were definitely very good at putting everything together. I think the store is bigger than the one I usually go to in Alhambra and the parking is a little bit easier to find a spot. One of the restaurants next-door has a giant dining tent any member that the party is still not too bad at all. First time trying this Blaze Pizza spot in Arcadia. It's in the same plaza as the Vons I occasionally go to. It's also across the street from Aldi as well. I decided to do an online order and pick up in store. This store does online, curbside and delivery. No indoor dining. Upon entering it was pretty empty. Just one other customer. It felt pretty warm inside with little too no A/C. They have a huge selection of toppings which I like and I normally try to build my own. You can also do half and half too! I just found that out seeing someone do that with their pizza. The pizza was good! I like putting lots of toppings just to see how they all taste together. Right now they have their ghost pepper chicken meatballs. It's a nice spicy kick! While at the store I was tempted to try their "dough knots". It really makes me want to say "doughnuts". These were ok. Not a huge fan. They were really garlicky and fluffy, but really irregular in size. You'll get like 2 regular size ones and 2 really small ones for over 4 bucks. Like a dollar each. I know this place is really, really trying. But, after my first visit months ago, things haven't improved. I understand it's a busy day because it's Pi Day, but this place was so unorganized. I placed my mobile order and was informed that my pizza would be ready 25 minutes later. I arrived and there was a crowd of at least 15 people waiting inside. This wasn't including the walk up customers placing their orders. I waited over an hour for pizza... Their signage suggested no more than 10 people inside. At one point, it got up to about 30 people inside waiting. Several people were going up asking for the status of their orders and it just seemed the employees were overwhelmed. Even a few pizzas were burned and needed to be remade. When I asked about my order, I was told it was currently being prepared. Twenty-five minutes after that, he said the same thing. There were several mobile orders coming in. I know because the pile of papers were adding up on their counter. Nobody was tending to those orders. Most of the employees were helping walk ups. And, those walk ups received their orders before those who have been waiting much longer. There needs to be better planning on their end when they run promos and during the holidays. read more

We got two pizzas to eat in-store and they refused to give us water cups but instead said we could purchase a soda cup for close to $4 and fill that with water. We had ordered online, and usually that takes 10-15 minutes to fulfill. The fulfillment time was over a half-hour away. Whatever. We got there for our assigned time and still ended up having to wait 15-20 minutes to get our two pizza order. That's simply unacceptable. Waiting that long for something that was pre-ordered and set for self pickup is absurd. Orders should be prepped in order they are received. quick and modern twist on a lifelong staple! blaze pizza, to me, is an easy way to order and enjoy pizza. they have several locations in my area (SGV)- whether its arcadia, monrovia, or alhambra. they have several crust options- my gf and i get gluten free and my mom gets keto, they have a few others too. the sauce, cheese, meat, and veggie options open up endless possibilites of pizza flavors- and you can even finish off the pizza after cooking with arugula and dressing options- i like getting ranch on the side. the line once you enter is comparable to chipotle. you order what you like, pay, and then wait for your pizza to be fired. they call you once its done. you seat yourself and enjoy! very simple eatery in our modern times. i feel like they are a good fit in what we consider as good food fast these days. read more

Came to blaze pizza and it totally hit the spot! I had a $15 gift card and used it on a DIY pizza - now I have like a $3 balance left lol. I got the regular crust, classic tomato sauce, with a bunch of random toppings. Flavor and quality is pretty consistent here, but the amount of toppings the workers put on definitely changes - but they're super happy to add more/less of whatever you want. With masks and the glass counter, a lot of times they're hard of hearing when you're making your selection but what can you do these days.. I wish they had more protein selections - the only one I really like and get is the chicken. I dropped a star because sometimes they overbake the pizza and the crust is super burnt and black and charred, which looks like cancer to me. If I pick up a slice of pizza and my fingers turned black, that's never a good sign. read more

this is our regular place. we received a $5 coupon in the Blaze apps today. So, we walked in, ordered and let the staff scan the coupon. After several tries, did not work. We checked the apps and it says other way to claim the $5 off is to have the staff type in the pomo code or customer s phone number. The staff that was at the cashier refused to. She repeatedly said that if the system is not taking it, there s nothing we can do. we told her again to try entering the code in the apps,land should work. Again, she said no. The three star Yelp average seems a little low for this place. Seems like most of the complaints have to do with service. We have ordered here several times through the app and just picked up in store and have not had a problem so far. If the service really is an issue, then management should read Yelp and make adjustments accordingly because their rating should be at least four stars for our expereince. This location is in a strip mall with a Pavillions for an anchor. The lot is big, but does get full in large part due to the market. However, if you park 2-3 rows out from Blaze then there is always parking there because that spot in the lot is further from the market and the other restaurants near Blaze. If you are one of those people who has to park right in front of the restuarant, then be warned that the outdoor seating at other neaby places greatly reduced those parking spots and the traffic on that row is usually bad--be careful pulling out! We usually get some combination of the following: keto pizza, vegan pizza, thick crust pizza. We also typically get a build your own pizza. A few people complained that Blaze messed up their custom orders, but ordering through the app at this location and one or two other ones we have not had a problem yet. So if you want to try to eat here, then ordering through the app and picking up in store may give you the best experience. Frankly, Atkins makes a better Keto pizza than Blaze, but Blaze offers more variety and healthier options than Atkins. Their vegan items will cause gout if you have it, but if not, they generally taste pretty good. Their regular pan/thick crust pizza tastes the best. Toppings and sauces are pretty individual taste based, so check out their offerings on the app. Their drizzles do not significantly change the taste of the pizza in most cases, but we would still recommend choosing a drizzle that complements whatever else you put on your pizza and particularly the sauce you chose. If you like crust, then get the thick/pan crust and select the sides of ranch dressing in the app to eat it with. If anyone is not familair with Blaze, they are CA based and so a healthier conscious restaurant. According to the internet, they were modeled after Chipotle's custom approach and so they have primarily single person, custom, healthier pizzas. If that is not what you are looking for, then you are better off with one of the big chains (e.g., Pizza Hut, Dominos, Shakeys, etc.) or one of the great local pizza places around town (e.g., Petrillo's on Valley). Their individual pizza's are similar to Pizz Hut's personal pizza. Feel bad for the one lady who said she got food poisoning here, but we have not had a problem so far after numerous visits. We will likely continue ordering from here occassionally unless we run into any trouble. We recommend you give them a try and if you use the app, hope you have a good experience like we have. read more

That night I started feeling sick and by the next day, we were both HORRIBLY sick. It took a whole week to recover from HOW sick we were. I had to miss work because of it. I ordered online n picked up pizza at this location, they put all online orders on a rack with no monitor, I waited for more than 20 mins in the store n still didn't see my order, so I asked, n the staff said that my pizza was ready long time ago but I didn't see it on the rack, obviously someone stole it or took it by mistake. More ridiculously that she said I had to go in person the next day in order the get the refund. So I said ok then make me the pizza, it will waste me more time to come again the next day to get the refund. I went to an urgent care and a blaze pizza today. Guess which place I waited longer? I was the only person in line at 1135am on a Weds and my takeout pizza took 45 minutes. There were ~12 online orders ahead of me, with the latest online order at 1142am. 25 mins just standing first in line as they tended to online orders. 3 workers on hand all working hard but overwhelmed due to one late employee but even 4 workers isn't enough to manage the line that gathered afterwards. I've tried this place 3 times and I can give a good review about my experience. The very first time I tried this place, I ordered 2 pizzas and they were FANTASTIC. I was thinking to myself, why I've never tried this place, it has great ingredients, toppings, and the taste was gourmet. I signed up for the rewards club with my first order. The 2nd order I was offered $5 off for being a rewards member. So I ordered the exact same 2 pizzas as my first order again. But this time, everything was different. Pizza was really thin, burnt, toppings were not as generous. It felt like I ordered from a completely different place compared to the first time. I wrote back to a survey they sent me and told them about the problem. I tried them for a 3rd time and this 3rd time was the absolute worse. Very similar to the 2nd pizza order, both pizzas completely burnt this time around. They covered the entire pizza with so much sauce, I could've added a pound of pasta to it and use it as pasta sauce. To make matters worse, one pizza had a giant hole in it, I'm not sure how they were OK with letting a pizza go out with a giant hole in it. It was absolutely awful. Watch out Blaze Pizza, this guy "Kyle" is out here to destroy your business. We've been coming to this Blaze Pizza very often since it opened its door in our neighborhood. We love the food there and find the staff very friendly most of the time. They would say "sorry for the wait" if we couldn't pick up our order right away, and they'd say thank you and goodbye when we left, giving a vibe of family business. But all that good feeling got flushed down the drain today, 3/19/22, thanks to this so-called manager KYLE, if it was his real name! It all begins with the extremely confusing reward system of Blaze Pizza. Even though the app says we can redeem rewards online, we can never figure out how to do it when we place an pickup order through the app. So in the past we would redeem the rewards when we picked up the order. The staff would scan the redeem code and then have us stand aside. In a few minutes, the redeemed item (cheesy bread) would be ready to go with our order. We did it for quite a few times, never had any problem, and no one ever told us it should be done any other way. This evening when we came in to pick up and asked to redeem, this guy, who claimed to be the manager, insisted to send us back to the end of the line and place an order for the cheesy bread, even though our pickup order was already done. When we told him that's not how it was done in the past ten times, he replied in an ever-so-authoritative tone "They did it wrong the last ten times!". That attitude really pissed us off. If we got in line for that cheesy bread (which takes 2 minutes to heat up), our pickup order would be all cold when it's finally our turn. We ended up not redeeming anything and left with a stinky taste in our mouth, the first time we had ever felt with Blaze Pizza, and it is very likely to be the last time! Just before we took off, we asked this "manager" for his name, he said "It's gotta be Kyle". Who would answer like that? Apparently he has no clue what the heck he was doing, with the store or with his own name! This is more evident when we came home and found that a few toppings we ordered were missing! GOOD JOD KYLE!
