Great spot. For Vapes, custom blown glass and great customer service. I have been to so many head shops I can't even count. One of the issues with most head shops is that they just buy Chinese glass which sucks. Left my credit card there and I live six hours away. They had no way to get a hold of me and went out of their way to find me through social media to let me know that they had my card. I want to make it known that they DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS unless there is a "defect" in the product, specifically "electronics". I bought a Detox drink here a couple days ago to drink before before a drug test for work, turns out I don't need to take the test so figured I would return the outrageously overpriced product, but they won't give me my money back. There was no warning from employees or signs stating that there were no returns. I spent $50 on this drink, only to find out they sell for $18 on amazon. They may have good glass but don't shop here if you want refunds or anything other than glass. read more

Highly recommend this place. My wife and I came to this shop in hopes that they could repair my glass piece and she could pick up a few items. The repair was expected to be a couple weeks wait. After that time the piece was beyond repair and I was offered to pick a new one of equal value as a swap. I was a bit in awe being that for one I had broke it, and another that I had bought it from another retailer in another city. Yet they still made it right. That in my book is world class customer service. Plus I'm extremely satisfied with my new products. Employee was not wearing a mask. The legitimacy of my License was called into question for a can of butane purchase. The employee lifted up their shirt to show me a "mysterious bruise" they received multiple times. After I had purchased the can and had my information recorded, the employee forgot they had already sold me the can and attempted to ring me up twice. Immediately after, the employee asked to see my pockets to make sure that I was not trying to steal the said can of butane. This made a quick 3 minute purchase into a ten minute ordeal. All in all, this was the final deal breaker and I will not be returning. Dragon Vape offers cheaper prices and professional employees, and is the best smoke shop in Chico. read more

By far the best smoke shop Ive ever been to. All of the pieces are incredibly beautiful and unique. 90% of the glass is blown locally by some very talented artists, so you know the quality is good too. This is not the lame glass you are going to find with street vendors and other amateur shops. Speaking of, dont go to any other shop in Chico, its a scam, no matter how cool it looks! Purchased an expensive ash catcher and bowl piece... originally i was extremely satisfied with their product and service; I appreciated the discount that they gave me. Little did i know that bowl piece was faulty, broke in the ash catcher without any real rough tug or touching. went there to ask for a replacement thinking that it would be pretty easy to replace due to the circumstances of me not even having the product for a 24 hours, not to mention it was an expensive bowl that i expected to last forever; yet in the end I ended up purchasing another bowl after having to convince him otherwise... really disappointing.. you would think a business would be better with understanding products can sometimes be faulty. all in all they lost a loyal customer. i suggest trying a different shop, who would of thought that stoner could be so cheap and greedy... If I could give a zero I would. POOR BUSINESS SKILLS!!!! I bought over a hundred dollar pen two nights ago from this store and the girl told me it was the best of the best and the apple of wax pens. Not even moments after leaving the store I tried to use this supposed great pen and it wouldn't work. The lights all showed it working and it showed it was fully charged but nothing. So I called the store back first thing the following morning for the GM to tell me to come by the store anytime until 5pm, so on my way there I called the store around 4 to make sure he knew I was on my way and a girl answered and told me he went home early and I told her I spoke with him earlier he told me he would be there and she said sorry but he isnt and that she couldn't help me bc only managers can do exchanges and refunds. So today when I called the store the GM told me that there is nothing they can do that I can register the pen and then send it in and after looking at it he realized it was a defect in the pen that is causing it not to heat but still all I could do is register the pen myself and then follow the steps to return it. He also said he was at the store everyday this week until 5pm so he isnt sure what I am talking about when I mentioned him leaving early the day we spoke. Overall SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!! Just walked in and bought a new water pipe with my husband. Was talking to a really nice, cute red head. She was attentive, helpful, and even worked with us on the price. There was a brunette who was working also. My husband noticed the brunette walking around and in front of us, not saying a word. Every time we'd engage in conversation with the red head, the brunette seemed to get more of an attitude. She stood in our way serval times and while we said "excuse us" she never said a word. I brought my water pipe here to simply get a new down stem fitted to it. When the employee cracked my water pipe while trying to force an oversized down stem into it, she kindly said that they would fix it free of charge. Then about a week later, I got a call saying that my water pipe was destroyed in the oven when another one exploded. I persisted on having them replace it or give me a generous discount on a new one, but all they would do is give me a 25% discount. If you go to CSU, Chico, you know that you can find 25% discount coupons littered around campus. They are everywhere. I've never been so upset with how i was treated by a business enough to take the time to write a review on Yelp. But this place is so bad I can't in good conscience not warn others about this awful business. Besides the over priced, low quality glass made in their workshop, everything else is over priced as well. I bought a 75 dollar jar that was defective and when I went to return it (which the guy with the hair said I could the day before when I spent $60 bucks on blunts) he treated me like an asshole, ripped me off, and gave me a $25 jar instead. I got my piece fixed here, which they did a great job on. When I went to pick it up, the guy working was going out of his way to be unfriendly, including calling me out on the price which they quoted me over the phone, and was printed on the receipt. Then he told me 'well I guess you're getting a deal today man." Oh, I'm getting the price your store quoted over the phone? What a great deal!!! Then after he insinuated my bong was fake, and I told him where I got it, he said, "oh its probably real." Look, obviously you are paying a store for a product. The product I received was generally good. But I went into the store with the intention of buying more accessories, and ended up walking out with nothing more because the employee was so abrasive. If he had even asked if I wanted anything else I probably would have still bought something after taking a lot of attitude. This place has the best blown glass in chico and it's not fake like other shops in chico, its either locally blown or from a really good brand that is well known. However this is not the case, whoever has the right mental capacity to determine what a good high quality glass piece is, would note that there so called "high priced" merchandise is not what it seems. A cheaply light weight medium sized glass pipe shouldn't be over 15-20$ at the most. Drinking beer at work, how professional. I understand this is Chico, but it's a smoke-shop. Used to be the best smoke shop in town. USED TO.. I've lived in Chico for over 5 years, and the staff was once ridiculously helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. In the past year plus that has vastly changed. The new staff, save one girl, is just off. They are short(not vertically), unfriendly, and unhelpful. They seem very unwilling to go that extra mile for the customer and often seem as if they just want you out of the store as quickly as possible. They also tend to treat you as if you are a five year old, all the while not really possessing much, if any, knowledge of glassware whatsoever. They are also really overpriced, though are the only decent smokeshop in town since Chico Kush closed its front shop(though they are reopening). I have honestly found better prices in San Diego, LA, and the SF Bay on most if not all of the brand name glass. They don't really haggle just give you 20% off if you ask, like the coupons that go around ever other week and don't really expire. So basically everything is marked up 10-20% already because they know the majority of the customers will use a coupon or 'haggle' the 20%. To top it all off, i have not only noticed a decline in the quality of the storefront, but a decline in the actual quality of BLAZE1 pieces, the upright water pipes in particular. The quality of glass seems cheaper and much more brittle than it once was. It saddens me to write this as it is comparable to writing about the loss of someone once loved, but the truth is to be told.. Well worth the drive to Redding, or Humboldt, or the Bay. Or even Sac I'd imagine though I haven't personally been to many shops there. read more

I've left my products as a consignment at Blaze N Js since 2011 until a month ago when I went out of business of hand painted jars. I have to say that they are really honest people, I've never had any problem of any kind and it was a long relationship of trust and respect. I wish I had had many other customers like them all through my years on this business. Bought an expensive custom blaze 1 piece From them and it happened to get a clean break at the bottom. Took it in too see if they can fix it and they told me that they would call and let me know if they could. I never heard from them. Then the next day I called to see if it was fixable and they had already sent it off without letting me know. They told me it would be a week and would get a call when it was done. Surprise surprise no call. I had to call them. Finally went in to pick it up and they totally changed my piece from a male to female piece. I moved to Chico recently and decided that I needed some new glass for my new location. The staff at Blaze N J's is friendly.... at first. When their faulty glass breaks however, they are hesitant to exchange or even take fault at all. Hesitant is probably the wrong word here as well as an understatement as they refused to exchange the broken bowl piece. Their reasoning? "The glass is your responsibility when you walk out that door". The policy makes logical sense, however when the glass itself was faulty and the problem could be clearly identified, I find it bad business to refuse your customers courtesy during returns. I ended up having to BUY a new bowl piece with my teeth grit. I will no longer do business with these people. read more

Overpriced!!! The glass they make is too expensive! As is all of their clothing (plus their girls clothes are ugly)! They carry knock-off brands instead of originals, which would be cool of they kept the lower prices of lower quality glass. Instead, they use high-end glass prices for their own benefit. Poorly run business with zero organization. The "manager" (according to this page her name is kassandra) seemed interested in only helping customers who seemed to have a lot of money.
