Barista wouldnt stop complaining about how orders were coming in even though they were about to close. Waited 20 mins, but 4 people who came in after me got their orders right away. But because it is the holidays i actually apologized to them for the inconvenience of having to make my order that they forgot. First time at Blank Street and it did not disappoint! Special shout out to Z. I was stuck deciding between the cookies and cream matcha and the salted pistachio matcha, and she explained the flavor profiles of both so patiently and thoroughly. Z's energy was so exuberant and contagious and I saw other customers thank her profusely after getting their drinks as well. I love Blank Street Coffee (BSC). This location is very quaint. BSC has many locations. This particular location is small with minimal indoor seating. They have a nice outdoor seating area that wraps around the building as they are on the corner of the block! Check out other locations for larger indoor seating areas. A lovely floral arrangement on the wall. BSC partners with local florists/artists to decorate. BSC is know for its plants and modern atmosphere. I ordered two ice lattes and a mini olive oil bunt cake. The coffees were great. Perfectly made and poured. They don't do iced cappuccinos here. They made us two iced lattes. I was pleasantly surprised when eating the mini bunt. It did stick to the paper of the mini bag they gave me. If you're looking to take a pretty picture, ask for it without the bag/they might have a box for you. Definitely take a chance on their lovely selection of baked goods!! I wish I had asked for simple syrup...but forgot. Next to the straws they have brown sugar and natural artificial sweetener. I was in the area and noticed Blank Street Coffee was close by so I had to drop by after a great experience at their other locations. This location did not disappoint as they also had great customer service, a clean establishment, and great coffee. The male staff that was working that day was patient and super friendly. I ordered a large cold brew and it was good although I do have to say, I enjoyed their Americano slightly more. Pro tip - If you live in the area and decide to go here a lot, they have a rewards points system going on so don't forget to enter in your mobile number on the screen at the end of your purchase or ask an employee! read more

This is one of the many locations of this growing coffee chain. Originally from Williamsburg and built around automatic espresso machines, the coffee here is alright. It's cheaper than the other spots around here but you get what you don't pay for. I don't think their coffee is that particularly good being more similar to Starbucks in quality and honestly I think their hot coffee is on the bitter/over roasted end reminding me a bit too much of Starbucks but I guess I can blame the machine for that as it's the machine not the barista. Their seasonal drinks tend to not be that good (especially the espresso based one such as this cherry thing I had which was terrible) but I guess if you want something hot, their cappuccino is inoffensive. read more

Another cute little cafe on Court Street! Short walk up the hill from the front of the Bergen St F/G station. This is a grab and go place without indoor seating, but they do have enough room indoors for people to stand around while contemplating/ordering/waiting. You can order online or in person. You'd expect from all the sustainability etc messaging that this would be more on the expensive side, but somehow they're one of the cheaper cafes around. Expertly made espresso drinks, and the matcha is STRONG. They could use half the powder and it would be fine, but amazingly it's still all well blended without lumps. Oat and almond are the non dairy milk options. They have a nice selection of pastries including a carrot cake donut thing that is out of this world! Also breakfast tacos. I don't think there's a restroom here, or if there is, it might be staff only? Friendly service. read more

Love Blank Street! This location in particular is small but very bright and they have a lot of plants inside for great ambiance. They have outdoor tables, great for enjoying a coffee break. The coffee is very good in general, from the drip to cold brew and espresso. All baristas are so good at making coffee drinks and they are also very nice. Very fast and knowledgeable baristas and servers. Melissa always takes good care of me. The drinks are all high quality. I normally order the same simple cold brew wherever I'm getting coffee, but I've really enjoyed the seasonal drinks here. Peppermint cold brew with an extra shot of syrup hits the spot. The breakfast tacos are really good as well if you get there early enough to get them. I like that they are contactless right now given the pandemic. I hope they continue to expand to new locations; I'd love to live around the corner from a blank street. read more

I visit this Blank Street location all the time and thoroughly recommend it as a neighborhood coffee shop. Pros: -Everyone there is really friendly. -The cold brew is quite good. -They are extremely efficient. -The app is very smooth to use if you care to order ahead and seamlessly tracks rewards. -The price point is perhaps 25% lower than a high end, independent coffee shop. Cons: -The only seating is outdoors. -They prioritize efficiency over selection to some degree, so if you are interested pour-over coffee, for instance, that's not available here AFAIK. read more
