First time at Blank Street and it did not disappoint! Special shout out to Z. I was stuck deciding between the cookies and cream matcha and the salted pistachio matcha, and she explained the flavor profiles of both so patiently and thoroughly. Z's energy was so exuberant and contagious and I saw other customers thank her profusely after getting their drinks as well. I ended up getting pistachio which was a yummy and unique lil sweet treat - thanks Alejandro and Patty for concocting it. 5 stars for genuine and professional service!!

I love Blank Street Coffee (BSC). This location is very quaint. BSC has many locations. This particular location is small with minimal indoor seating. They have a nice outdoor seating area that wraps around the building as they are on the corner of the block! Check out other locations for larger indoor seating areas. A lovely floral arrangement on the wall. BSC partners with local florists/artists to decorate. BSC is know for its plants and modern atmosphere. I ordered two ice lattes and a mini olive oil bunt cake. The coffees were great. Perfectly made and poured. They don't do iced cappuccinos here. They made us two iced lattes. I was pleasantly surprised when eating the mini bunt. It did stick to the paper of the mini bag they gave me. If you're looking to take a pretty picture, ask for it without the bag/they might have a box for you. Definitely take a chance on their lovely selection of baked goods!! I wish I had asked for simple syrup...but forgot. Next to the straws they have brown sugar and natural artificial sweetener. If you're looking for something different to sweeten, ask the barista. 5/5. Will be back to this location!!

Blank Street was close to the hotel so I decided to give it a try one morning. The decor was so cute. The staff was super friendly. The coffee was amazing! I got a iced latte with salted caramel which was soooo good. Highly recommend!

My friends just won't shut up about Blank Street, so I went in when I was in the area. Very bright, open, clean space with plants everywhere. Nice staff. Good coffee. They also have pastries and King David Tacos, if you're into them (I'm not). Not a lot of room inside to wait, so you might be out the door waiting to get in.

Smaller sizes than Starbucks or Dunkin. Same or higher price. Limited food not worth writing home about.

You must have the Brussels sprouts!! I'd go back for those in a minute! I very much enjoyed my salmon dish. Lovely presentation and preparation but portion a bit small. However, the Brussels sprouts were so generous portion that even after sharing there was "take home" for us. The chocolate mousse was extraordinary! I don't even want to know the calorie count - but worth it!! My one negative was the chill of the Cabernet Yes, I know that's the trend but personally I prefer room temp especially in cold weather The restaurant owner was gracious, staff actually charming and accommodating We are recommending this place to family and friends and plan to return especially when going to BAM ENJOY!!

Walked in and was able to get a seat without reservation, but it definitely filled up by 6/7 pm. The place is dimly lit and the tables are quite small. For the food, we got their Brussel sprouts, shrimp, salmon entree and chicken entree. Our favorite were definitely the shrimp. But everything else when eaten together tasted a bit too greasy and felt monotonous in terms of flavor. Brussel sprouts were fried and held to a decent amount of oil, then the addition of tahini made it even more oily. Pan chicken we expected whole pieces of chicken but it was more like a thin chicken cutlet. The salmon came with a cauliflower puree which tasted so rich (with butter), but I couldn't finish it bc it was so rich.

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
