Blondie Latte
Bisan A.

Heard about Blank Street Coffee, but this was my first time checking out. I like the decor and vibes of the place. Good amount of seating inside and the service was very kind. I got the blondie latte with oat milk which is salted brown sugar caramel, cookie butter, and miso. It tasted so good. It had a nice blend of all the flavors with not one particular flavor overpowering the rest. It was a unique cup of coffee done right!

loveee blank street. definitely recommend its one of my fave coffee shops. price is pretty decent for city latte prices. taste wise blank streets is always superior- theyre lattes are freshly made and the flavors are incredible. the wait is around 5-10 mins usually.

White Chocolate Raspberry Matcha GF Olive Oil Loaf
Roslyn H.

My white chocolate raspberry mocha was terrific. However, the banana cake I ordered on the app actually ran out and had to be replaced with a gf olive oil loaf, which was very plain. I felt very relaxed at this clean and cozy cafe. The barista was warm and polite. Will definitely come back. Just order in-person instead of using the unreliable app.

Mint chip matcha
Roy A.

Neighborhood coffee shop with a great mint chocolate matcha for the wife and my standard latte. Quick service.

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

I have wanted to try this spot for some time, and wound up a bit disappointed with what I tried…read more They feature a tahini cold brew, which features two things I love dearly, but instead of a rich cold brew it was overly sweet and icy--more like a slushie. Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
