We were concerned about the dye lot matching since it was in our hallway and would be obvious if it didn't match. It matched ok color wise however, you can see the seam between the two pieces. There was also an obvious seam going into the bedroom which we asked to have re-done. After it was re-done it was better, but still very visible. We also paid extra to have them move furniture. They only sent 1 person to do all of the moving and installing which resulted in some damaged items.

When I was there in April doing major repairs and remodel from all the damage a tenant did, the water damage to the wood floor under the refrigerator turned the wood black and lifted them from the floor, so since John had done the refinish job in 2013, I naturally contacted him. I liked John's work albiet he was not able to remove all the damage but did a great job nonetheless. I called him and he said he was very busy but would get out within a week to assess the damage and tell me what he could do. Then I never heard back. I left another 2 messages. By the time I did hear back I had already had to hire someone else, and presumed John was too busy or this was not a priority, which upset me since I was already a customer. Unfortunately I found out that John had injured his leg w a nail gun and went to the hospital, but that was after I wrote the review and had to pay someone else to repair the damage. His explanation was certainly understandable and I would never want to hurt someone's business if there is a reasonable explanation. However, my input here is that his wife or someone else who worked w him should have been calling his customers immediately (not wait for me to finally get him on the phone to find out what happened) to inform them that he would not be able to work for however long he needed to heal, I certainly would have understood. I have been in the hospital for serious injuries so understand how crazy that can be. But being self employed brings certain responsibilities if you want to maintain a good client base. His original work was beautiful and he did 3 coats on my floor, and gave me a good price. I was very happy with those results, so I would recommend his work.

The cost was $4,000. I paid them half up front with my credit card and scheduled for 2 weeks from that day. A few days later the office girl called and said they would need to reschedule me and it would be 2 months as they picked up a really big project and mine would have to wait. I was on a time frame so I asked for a refund. That is where things took a turn for the worse. Byron strung me a long with excuse after excuse as to why I could don't get my refund. I finally had to dispute it on my credit card. I have attached photos of my texts with Byron and the chargeback. All this could have been avoided if I had listened to the other reviewers and stayed away from this fraudulent company.

I never thought I'd write a review like this. Last year we…read morehad 3 flooring projects that we went through Panhandle Carpet One. We purchased two different flooring materials and used two of their contractors to lay the floors. The first project was finished. A couple of months later we let Paul, our salesman at Panhandle, know that the flooring was separating at some of the seams. The contractor had to come back two times to repair it. It appears that issue is fixed. The second project, different contractor and different flooring, appeared to be ok. The third project, same flooring and same contractor as the second project appears to be doing well. Early this year we noticed a couple of floor seams in the second project were separating. My husband called the contractor, but never heard back from him. A month or so later he called Paul at Panhandle to let him know there was an issue with the flooring. No reply. We went into the store and left a message as Paul wasn't there. Still no reply. We went in again a little over a month ago and spoke to Paul again about the issue. He said the contractor was busy on a job, and then was going on vacation. He would let the contractor know about the issue. As of today, we haven't heard anything. It would probably take a qualified, skilled person with the right tools as short time to fix the flooring. I guess we will attempt to fix the floor ourselves. I guess once the job is done and out of mind they don't seem to care a lot about continued customer relations and fixing an issue.

What a fantastic experience of picking out product from an extensive inventory and then Chuck coming to the house the very next day to measure and prepare a bid. Great customer service. Once purchased Chuck scheduled our installation a week later. Torry and Joe showed up early on 10/22 and began the installation. Both seasoned installers with years of experience and knocked out the entire project in 1 day. The finished is beautiful and my brother could not be happier with the quality of the finished work. Finally, the devil is in the details. Torry and Joe replaced all the furniture and did an immaculate job of clean up of old carpet, and sawdust from the flooring cuts. Well done! Scammed out of $2,750.00 on June 29th 2026. In good faith I, a geriatric woman in her 70's, wrote…read morea check for 50% down after being told by their salesman Trevor Levin that they won't provide the service for less than $4,000.00. I asked four times what they charged per square foot as I added areas to be coated by their product. I never got an answer and had no way to verify or reduce the charges. I was told they were so busy that the work would be scheduled a month later. After Trevor left, I looked into it further and cancelled the order within 3 business days by email, exactly per the cancellation terms of the contract. The salesman refused to put through the cancellation paperwork for a number of excuses (he begged to show me more samples, then he was a no-show because he was allegedly out sick and rescheduled causing more delays, etc.) It is now September 10, 2026 and I have since been promised via emails a full refund many times, but there is no phone call or follow up. I had put this charge on my VISA and reported it. Rhino Coatings told VISA I did not follow the Cancellation terms of the contract, which was a false and inaccurate statement. So, I will be going to small claims court. Consider this a warning to anyone considering using this company, please read the contract extremely carefully. The salesman repeatedly referred to a "lifetime warranty." This product is typically applied to garage floors, and the contract specifies that "Damage caused by tires impacting an entrance edge of the floor where it meets the entrance resulting in delamination or peeling is deemed a natural result of use and is not covered under this warranty." This joke of a "lifetime warranty" claim is also voided this way: "This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scuffing, or scratching of the topcoat." So its really difficult to identify what, if anything, their "lifetime warranty" will actually cover, and evidently they expect you to float or carry your car into your garage in order not void their "lifetime warranty." Buyer BEWARE.
