Everything started out okay, until two days before my daughter's wedding and David called to ask if we could use the smaller limo because "it was available". After I informed him that we definitely needed the larger limo...the one that I paid for, he still sent the smaller limo the day of the wedding (without zero communication to us) and claimed that the check engine light came on, in the larger limo. Yeah, okay. He left 10 of our guests stranded and they had to call Ubers to go 40 mins away. Ridiculous!! When I called to complain to him he said he would reimburse me $200...never saw that. Not organized. Not good communicators. Even though I sent multiple emails leading up to my wedding, The Manager was texting me the *night of my rehearsal dinner* about pick up times and itineraries for the next day (literally my wedding day). When I responded to the last text asking them to please stop bombarding me with texted questions during my Rehearsal Dinner, I had speeches going, he had the audacity to call *me* rude... during my Rehearsal Dinner lol... for asking him to please stop texting me, the bride. Just all around bad vibes. They performed the service I paid for in terms of the literal transportation but at the cost of causing me stress and insulting me via text for asking them to please stop the last-minute questions the night before my wedding day. Do not recommend. Very unprofessional behavior on David's part. Very sad since I would've been very happy with the services and left a nice review if he could have just remained professional. Four of us were going from Annapolis to Virginia, At Little Inn of Washington. In order to fully enjoy the experience we decided to hire a driver. After a furious search we decided on this company and we are so glad that we did. The driver arrived 15 minutes early, came to the door and escorted us to the Escalade which was plenty of room for 4 adults. The car was very comfortable and we arrived at our destination in plenty of time to explore the town before dinner. He also had water in the car for us. After eating he was waiting for us outside of the Inn. The reception was spotty in this area and we did not have to try to locate him. The ride home was comforable and we arrived home 15 minutes before the end of our scheduled time. He really added to the wonderful experience of the day. We gave him a hefty tip to express our gratitude. They will definitely be our go to driving service. read more

I generally do not leave reviews, and considering that I'm currently in an accelerated nursing program, while my fiancé is in the middle of a 10 month military deployment (will not be returning until our wedding) I promise that the only reason I am taking the time to write this review is because of how disrespectful and self-motivated the owner, David, is. I would not recommend that any bride pursue this limo company because worst than poor service, he has no interested in respecting/understanding the need of a client and is purely self-motivated in the way he handles his business. To expand, I had called this company to inquire about limousine rental for my wedding 8 months prior. Because I am getting married in May, I knew it was a busy season with other weddings and prom, so I was hoping to get the reservation finished early. After speaking with David, who immediately reminded me that it was prom season, we agreed for a rental from 2:30-6pm, despite the fact that I was paying for a 5 hours reservation. I wanted to respect his business to give him the opportunity to also have a prom reservation that night so was fine agreeing to that. I wanted to gather information before committing, so I told him I would call him back to finalize the reservation shortly. When I did, several days later, to make the reservation, he did not answer. I left a voicemail and he never called back. So I called him again and he casually apologized for never returning the call. At that point I told him I'd love to finalize the reservation and he started strongly emphasizing the fact that he needed prom business that night. I reminded him that I would happily end my reservation early so he could have a prom reservation, even saying I could go from 2:30-5:30pm. He harshly reminded me that 5pm was very different than 6pm and that he couldn't have me just switching times around. I explained to him that I simply didn't want to give him a time that I would go over, which is why I was estimating 5:30pm. That once I gave that time I would commit to it. After that he interupted to tell me that this isn't how he does business - reserving limos more than 6 months out - and that he needed to see about his prom schedule and do things his way... If that was the case, he could have maintained integrity and professionalism by telling me this when I originally called. Finally, I gave up, realizing that he had no respect for the fact that this was my wedding - not a bunch of teenagers for prom - AND I was trying to give him the opportunity to double book that day. At that point, I told him I will just look into other limo companies and he said "Yeah, I'd appreciate that," and hung up. No respect for a bride planning her wedding, that happens only once, when I was trying to respect him and his business by being flexible. No respect to the military community - had no interest in giving us a discount as military - or a discount for shortening our reservation time for him to have more business. I'm flabbergasted that he has sustained a business treating people this way. Do not use this company - not for a wedding or prom or any important event in your life. The owner will not be committed to anything other than getting your business. read more

I used them for a wedding event on the eastern shore and was plagued by communication errors. I felt like the owner did not take the time to listen to our requests or properly organize things. He then tried to place blame on my wife even though she very clearly made our intentions known. The straw to break the camels back was when the driver went to the wrong place to pick people up at the end of the evening. How you can drop people off at one location and then go to a different place to pick them up is beyond me. At one point we had approx 40 people waiting on rides back to hotels. The next day I called the owner to explain that his driver failed to pick people up where he dropped them off and he tried to turn things around on my wife and I. Bottom line I felt like I the owner was trying to bully both my wife and I and lacked both tact and basic communication skills. read more

I used Blanchard for transportation to and from my wedding. The interior quality of the shuttle bus was lacking, as one area of the wall had its covering peeling off. We also had a blown fuse that prevented the door from staying shut, which caused the driver to request that someone hold the door shut for the duration of the trip. The side view mirror also was knocked loose as it collided with the toll booth at the Bay Bridge. I brought this matter to the owner's attention afterwards, and he was very unwilling to negotiate any compensation for our inconvenience and safety issues and was generally disrespectful throughout the process. In hindsight, I would have much rather paid more for better service elsewhere. I'm only giving 2 stars because our return trip was uneventful and they were on time. read more

I attempted to use Blanchard for my moms 60th birthday, however prior to providing the service, our family had a medical emergency. David with Blanchard was not satisfied with simply keeping the deposit as we had discussed, but proceeded to charge us full price while our grandmother was being sent to the emergency room. Upon attempting to contact David to discuss the charges, he proceeded to tell me he did not have time for me because he needed to "take his Bentley to Ruth Chris for a steak dinner." The owner is completely disrespectful. While explaining the times that i would need the services, he would repeatedly cut me off mid sentence and told me I was "giving him too many details." I don't plan weddings for a living- I am planning my own; therefore, I would expect someone who provides transportation on a daily basis to be respectful to those of us that do not fully understand the process. I will not use them for my wedding because of the disrespectful demeanor of this owner. read more

I called looking for a quote. Not only was the person I talked to incredibly rude, short fused and uncooperative, they went so far as to accuse me of being "so secretive" when I couldn't answer a question that was being unclearly articulated on their end. Will not be hiring this company. read more

My wife, kids and I were on an overseas vacation. We had used Blanchard to bring us to our departing airport and it went great. Our return flights were completely changed due to mechanical issues with the planes. The upshot was we were 7+ hours late and landed at another airport! I called Blanchard from France and gave them the heads-up of the changes. The driver was at the new airport at the new time and made what could have been a very upsetting end to our vacation much, much better! I would highly recommend them! read more
