He came out for our consultation and estimate, and before he left, we already had that wonderfully reassuring feeling that we had found an exceptional company. Knowledgeable, professional, personable, straightforward--he "sold" us not with a sales pitch, but simply by the way he represented the company. Then there's Hanna, who seems to have turned communication into an art form. Scheduling, coordination, follow-up, billing--every detail was handled promptly, clearly, and graciously. At no point were we left wondering what was happening or what came next. That kind of communication is increasingly rare, and we appreciated it enormously. And the three-man crew? Superlatives all the way around. Their work was excellent, but what impressed us just as much was 'how' they worked. They were extraordinarily mindful of our property, careful and safe throughout the job, and remarkably clean and tidy. When they were finished, there was virtually no evidence that a tree crew had been there--other than, of course, that everything we hired them to do had been done beautifully. Finally, Blake himself. I've never met him in person; I only know him by his voice on the phone. But sometimes that's enough. Genuine, caring, sincere, personable, and unmistakably service-oriented. Within a few minutes of talking with him, I understood why the company bearing his name operates the way it does. And then came one final surprise: the price. Given the quality of the people, the work, and the overall experience, we were genuinely stunned by how reasonable their pricing was. I have been using Blake's Tree Service for 2 years now. I am so amazed and impressed with their work and efficiency. Last year Blake saved one of my maple trees from having to be cut down. A main branch was braking away from the trunk and barely holding on. Blake was able to secure it back to the trunk and the tree is still doing great. This year I had to have a tree removed in my back yard. It was very close to the house so I was concerned about possible damage taking it down. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get it down without damaging anything. By the time I realized they were here the tree was already gone! If it wasn't for the stump, which they later came and removed, I wouldn't have been able to tell that a tree had even been there. Amazing work, and wonderful customer service with the best prices. Cat stuck 30 feet up in a tree on superbowl sunday, said he couldnt get it out that day which I understood but gave me a price said call me tomorrow if he is still up there. Called next day and it was raining a bit and he sounded fine on the phone but when he realized it was go time his voice suddenly changed and he gave me the "uh oh yeah I think I got the flu". "I'll ask the guys I work with If they can do it and get back to you." Never heard from him again. Should change the name to Flakes Tree Service. Our neighbor had a dying tree that needed to be cut down and a few of our trees needed attention. Each time they have done extensive trimming of eighteen, 20ft tall, Spruce trees on either side of my long driveway, and did an absolutely fabulous job. Beyond my expectations in fact. In addition, they also did an equally fabulous job of trimming back, majorly overgrown, Deciduous trees all along the fence line of a 1acre pasture, and in the most timely, professional and cost effective way.
