I came in with a friend who recommended this place claiming they have the best breakfast burritos ever. I was anxious to try one. Upon entering the restaurant I was impressed by the cleanliness. I went up the counter to view the menu and place my order. They still had COVID precautions in place with a large plastic shield accross the counter. I decided to get the bean and meat breakfast burrito. I chose bacon for the meat. There was a little bit of a wait as they had a large to go order ahead of mine. When I got my burrito it was larger than your usual breakfast burrito. It was a large flour tortilla filled with bacon, eggs, cheese, hashbrowns, and either red or green chili sauce. I chose the spicy green. I also for 50 cents asked for jalapeños. The first bite exploded with flavor from the chili sauce and jalapeños. The bacon added a little crunch. All the flavors worked together validating my friend's claim of this being one of the best breakfast burrito ever. When I pass through here again I will definitely make it a point to stop in here for a burrito. read more

I ordered a combo meal online and went to the pick up online order counter and no one acknowledge me for five minutes even though there were at least six workers there. I didn't say anything to see how long it would take for someone to say anything but it was pretty bad because workers would see me and look away. Finally someone asked if I needed help and I said I was there to pick an online order. Staff training on customer service is really needed here. read more

Came up to Tse Bonito for the weekend and my husband wanted a breakfast burrito and had been to Blake's before, so he suggested we get a burrito from here. There are many to choose from and I chose the bacon burrito. It was a flour tortilla stuffed with eggs, bacon, potatoes, cheese and they give you a choice of red or green sauce. I chose the red sauce. After finding a seat, it wasn't much longer and our number was called and I took the first bite. It was good. I felt the red sauce was a tad spicy for my taste, but overall the burrito was ok. The service as good and the restaurant was clean and bright. Overall the expience was good and next time we are through Tse Bonito we will stop for a burrito. read more

Update- we stopped by the next night around 8pm- we waited for 6 minutes in the drive thru until finally an employee woke up! We got out the car to see if this Lottaburger was closed - no it was open until 10pm. We finally placed our order/ driving away - my lota burger didn't have cheese that I ordered and the other burger itsa burger didn't have chopped green chili they we ordered. We lost $1.00 plus tax - sadly we were so upset and didn't want to wait again and drive back. We were so hungry - nothing is open in this part of the area. Thank you for being open late but Lottaburger you still owe me cheese and green chili on our burgers . Be sure your employees are awake too so others won't be missing their cheese and green chili on their burgers. We decided to try Lotaburger in Tse Bonito. we received our order then asked for a side of Mayo. Opened the container and we noticed a green object in it so I took it so we could trash it then asked my son get another one. The second one had some more stuff in it. Before came out he did mention it to the staff and they told him "it's ok it's just green chili." At this point I wasn't happy at all. When I went in I asked for the Manager in duty she came up to me, then my son told me she is the one who gave him the Mayo. So I told her if she was served this and was told "it's ok to eat it" would she? Then showed her both sides of Mayo. She then nonchalantly said "oh ok so...do you want another one??" I stood there thinking really. I honestly think maybe Lotaburger needs to retrain their managers and team members, 1. It doesn't matter who is ordering food and paying for it you don't tell them "it's ok you can eat still eat it" 2. If you don't like working in the food service industry then don't 3. Please Respect your customers and don't be talking crap once they leave the store. (At least wait until the drive off!) Yeah. I don't think I'll be patronizing this place anymore: I spent close to $40 for our meals. The burger was burnt. And cold! My patty was black all around the edges and the patty completely fell apart. My portion of fries was just, sorry. Felt like 1/3 cup of fries, for the medium size. And why does it only seem that way specifically @ this store, eat @ other Blake's and there's more fries!! Is the manager holding out on the fries or what!!? Made a order through the drive-thru, I thought it was pretty simple. 2, #2 burritos, one with green chili, one with red chili, and a #6 burrito with green chili. As we were leaving we noticed both #2 burritos had green chili in it. So we turned around and went back. Went inside and told the employees at the register the order was incorrect. A lady started scolding one of the male employees and correcting how he was handling the order (ie. Wash your hands, throw away the burrito before remaking it, etc.). Got the new burrito and asked "does this have red chili in it?" And was told "yes, it does." We started driving away as we were traveling through the reservation to Chinle; realized after we had gone too far to turn around, IT HAS GREEN CHILI AGAIN! The people working there are lazy and never name the phone , I've placed orders online to be picked up at 0600, they just leave you outside until they feel they are ready to open up the doors , lights off, just chilling , once in first they have no clue about the orders , then they're like oh I see it , 30 minutes waiting , phone rings they don't even bother to pick up . I called today at 0535 after 5 attempts someone answered and she's like call At 0550 and we'll receive your order !!!! 13 calls I made , just because I promised my coworkers breakfast , no answer !!!! I've called in a order and had to wait 45 minutes for my order & this time waited 35 minutes after the lunch hour rush. This place takes the fast out of fast food. The service has gotten extremely bad. They do not answer the phone. Cannot even order on-line because Tse Bonito, NM is not listed on the web site. When I mentioned my concerns regarding the web site and telephone situation, the shift leader was very nonchalant, picks up the phone, puts it to her ear and stated "it's working." Actually, all the employees had the same attitude, just taking their sweet time preparing the food. While waiting in my vehicle for my order, I noticed an employee of Blakes taking on the same phone the shift leader picked up. I waited for about half an hour. I have been going to Blakes for the past 30 years. It usually is a good meal. The green chili burger is one of the best. Except for tonight. I ordered a shake with my meal and it was given to me basically as milk. When I handed it back Phoebe and said a shake should be thick her response was we didn't put enough mix (?) in the shake. I requested a new one. Said it would take 5 minutes. I was in the drive through and instructed to park to the side and wait. The food came out but no shake. Waited another 15 minutes for the shake, making the 5 minute wait for a new shake into 25. The 15 minutes was just enough time For the nice hot burger and fries to get cold. Got home and micro waved the burger and looked for the green chili. Just a tiny dot. There use to be enough chili in it you could taste it. Blake's prides it self on the green chili burger. Under the recommendations of others I finally tried a Blake's Green Chile Lotaburger. I took the first bite and added salt. Took a second small bite and added sandwich spread. Took a tiny third bite and said, "BLEH!" and handed over to my brother. The worse burger I had to date. I even asked the guy at the counter if the burgers were good and he didn't say anything. There was no taste. Not even the onions could give it a kick or a slap. I should've known when I saw them throw on a "frozen" patty. I should've canceled the order then but thought I'd try anyway. I asked for extra onions and saw the lady put one single ring of an onion on the bun. I tapped on the window and said, "Extra onions please." I did also notice the guy forgot my green chile and had to take it out and put some on as ordered. I think he was nervous because I was watching them the entire time. If I could give it a zero I would! Placed an online order and waited 30 minutes they had people walk in and order and they got served, drive through was hopping, Me still waiting getting hangry here! I asked for a refund and they tell me we don't do refunds, To make matters worse my burger was sitting in the warmer for those 30 minutes with no fries or burrito, their excuse we had big orders of burritos, that's BS!!! When people are getting their orders long after I ordered, manager didn't want to deal with me so she calls someone else to tell me the same thing, no refunds on on-line orders! Packed at lunch time! Wish I had made it in time for breakfast because they actually had vegetarian breakfast items. For lunch I ate some onion rings that were just okay and a milkshake- Chipotle Lime flavored... interesting to say the least. Kids were happy with the corn dogs, crispy chicken sandwiches, ect. They have the best burgers in the area and are exceptionally well coordinated. The fries are best fresh and the onion rings are good. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. If I were to suggest a menu item it would be a double meat Lota Burger with green Chile, cheese, and bacon. The drinks consist of Pepsi products and the wait is a bit long but understandable due to high customer traffic especially the lunch crowd... But I will admit the wait is usually worth it. The main down sides is some rude workers and an order is messed up here or there... This is made up for by the staff and they will rush you a new burger if they messed up the first.
