She let me make the key decisions while being there every step of the way as my advisor, providing input, recommendations, and guidance on all things wedding-related. She was especially helpful with vendor recommendations and helped us choose many of the amazing vendors we ended up working with. When it came to the week of the wedding, I had complete trust that Lindsay would make my wedding dreams a reality, and she absolutely did. I was able to sit back and enjoy the week knowing she had everything covered. It was the best day, and so much of that was thanks to her! She is communicative, easygoing, and genuinely a delight to work with. She even came with us to multiple wedding appointments in person throughout the planning process, which was above and beyond. I consider myself to be very organized…read moreand at first, I thought we could skip hiring a coordinator since I only had 28 guests to keep track of..... don't be me, or change your mind like I did and hire Lindsay already! Here is why Lindsay is worth e.v.e.r.y. penny: From the moment I picked up the phone for our consult, Lindsay was on my team. Her warm demeanor instantly makes you feel like you're talking to an old friend or family member. She is organized, professional, and experienced: she knows the ins and outs of the industry and maintains good working relationships with local vendors. Her services range from month-of-coordination to full service wedding/event planning, so she truly can meet every couple's needs. She listens to your vision and gives helpful suggestions along the way that still allows you to feel like your event is a personal one instead of "cookie-cutter" or what the vendor wants.... Something that sets Lindsay apart from other vendors is how she keeps an open line of communication to all of her clients, even if you've booked her for month-of-coordination like I did. Despite being incredibly busy, Lindsay was always willing to answer any of my questions promptly throughout my planning process. She also recommended some truly amazing vendors that we cannot imagine having our wedding without in hindsight. Hiring Lindsay was best decision I made in our 15 months of planning because it wouldn't have all been possible without her. Despite all my efforts planning each individual part of my wedding and hiring my own vendors independently, none of it would have come together cohesively on the day of if Lindsay hadn't been there (since there are always last minute things that don't go EXACTLY as you planned them, like the weather in our case). Lindsay gracefully ensured my other vendors stuck to their timelines and stayed out of each others' way and also helped us pivot our ceremony to indoors at the last minute when the weather took a turn for the worse. There is nothing that can go wrong on your day when you have Lindsay there behind the scenes to create that perfect day of your dreams. Thank you so much, Lindsay, for being part of our best day!!!

My fiancé and I held an off-site ceremony and reception at the Ehrman Mansion in the Sugar Pine Point State Park, on the west side of Tahoe. Given that it was an off-site location, there were so many additional details that required our attention that Felicia notified us about and then took control of (in a good way). Although we did not always agree with all of her suggestions (she's sort of a "throw it at the wall and see what sticks" kind of person), she was always extremely receptive to our input and never gave us any pushback if we decided to take another route. She fixed issues the day-of that we weren't even aware of until after the fact, which made our day all the better. Felicia is friendly, hardworking, and we would wholeheartedly suggest her for you wedding coordination needs. Felicia Gantar was worth every penny.

Stop searching and just hire Taylor and her team with Revel and Rye to plan your wedding already!!!…read more Hiring a wedding planner in Lake Tahoe is a high-stakes decision: you need someone experienced, professional, and knows the ins-and-outs of the wedding industry in Lake Tahoe. Taylor, Christy, and the Revel and Rye team executed our vision flawlessly for our June 2025 wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our decision! From the Introduction Call, Design Board meeting, and regular check-ins with Taylor, we were impressed with how responsive she was to our questions, and she even met with us in person to tour venues together. We didn't have to worry about a single thing! We decided to have our ceremony and reception at a State Park, which presented a huge logistical challenge with an extremely limited time of 2 hours to set-up a venue for 80+ guests from scratch! Taylor successfully coordinated with all of our vendors to create a beautiful ceremony and reception space, that left our guests in awe! The best part about hiring Taylor, is that she takes great pride in her work and is passionate about what she does! She's not just a wedding planner - she is a Creative Director, and we were so amazed at the ideas her team came up with, from wedding favors to signage, based on our wedding vision! Afterwards, we received multiple comments about how smoothly everything went and how every detail was thoughtfully executed. It allowed me and my husband to truly be present on our wedding day. Jessica is very organized, detailed oriented and knowledgeable about everything wedding that she made the whole wedding planning thing seem easy! My fiance and I were so impressed after the initial consultation and knew we had to have her as our planner. Right after we booked OUATE, my fiance and I had a meeting with Jessica and basically told her everything we wanted, what we didn't want and what we dreamed of having but didn't think we could afford. She also had us fill out a questionnaire to get a sense of our style, get to know us and get an idea of what we envision for our dream wedding. After reviewing everything we gave her, she created a design board with everthing we had talked about. I loved how we got to go thourgh and point out what we liked and what we didn't like. This gave us a great sense of what our wedding was going to look like. Since I had a very hard time picking a theme and staying with that direction, this really helped me get on track and focus on one thing at a time. This also really helped me stop stressing and feeling overwhelmed and let me enjoy the wedding planning process. As a bride, I knew I wanted to be involved in the fun stuff but not the boring, budget related stuff. Jessica was amazing at handling all the stuff I didn't want to do or did not know how to do. We gave her our total budget and she planned around that very well and helped us stay on track. She also did all of the orders (which were a ton since we had our wedding at private estate and had to bring everything in) and delt with the most of our vendors. She has a great working relationship with a ton of wedding vendors in Reno that she was able to get things done and get them done fast! And she had wonderful recommendations for our wedding vendors. We loved them all! During the whole wedding planning process Jessica and her sister, Cassie kept us on track and made sure we were getting things done when they needed to be done. I loved how they took all of my ideas and wishes and made them happen without any questions. The whole time, they were professional but so nice and fun to work with! It made wedding planning a lot of fun! The day of the wedding, I had absolutley nothing to worry about. I sat in the house and got ready while Jessica, Cassie and her team set everything up and dealt with all the vendors. The wedding was not too big but the whole production of it was a lot! We had a ton of flowers, a fire pit, a dessert bar, photo booth, a lounge and a ton of details such a signage and personalized items. Jesssica and her team were so organized and executed everything PERFECTLY! It was above and beyond anything I had even imagined. They took my vision to the next level and made it better than I could had ever wished for. Jessica and Cassie kept the wedding on track the whole night and everything went off witthout a hitch. My husband and I nor our wedding party or family had to lift a finger, it was amazing! We got to spend our time enjoying ourselves while OUATE delt with everything else. And it made ALL of the difference! Our wedding went off without a hitch. Here are some examples of how well Forget Me Knot Events came in to help throughout the planning and the big day: --"Sounding Board" hours. We purchased time to consult with Allison on details months before. Each piece of advice came from tons of experience and expertise. She guided us toward and away aspects that were best for us. --Meeting us at the venue to look for possible ideas, flow of the event, seating charts, etc. Plus advice for day of set up. --A 'ring blessing,' an important, yet difficult-to-coordinate ritual of passing our rings around on a ribbon pre-ceremony. This turned out to be a beautiful, unifying aspect of the day that couldn't have been pulled off with our coordinator --Since my husband and I couldn't be dragged from the dance floor to cut the cake, our coordinator had the great, spontaneous idea to have our brother (baker of the cake) bring it to us on the dance floor. We now have these fun, silly photos of us feeding each other while dancing, something many guests thought was a rehearsed performance but was actually just a wonderful spur-of-the-moment event! --Our day of coordinator brought us drinks and food, ensuring that we ate. She checked in with us frequently on what we needed, how the flow of the evening was going, etc. I highly recommend this artful, creative company for your wedding planning needs. Hand over the stress of something you'll just do for one day to an organization that does it nearly everyday!
