It's very sad because I had flowers delivered from another florist in town in May that lasted nearly a month. These won't look nice for two days. I ordered flowers through Teleflora and from my understanding they used Carson City Florist. This was for my daughter's Birthday. They arrived 24 hours late saying no one was available at their home to deliver the flowers and they made no attempt to call my daughter. BTW they were home. When the flowers finally arrived near the "cutoff" time the flowers were not even similar to what I ordered through the Teleflora website. And the arrangement looked cheap. I could have done a better job myself. I understood the flowers would not be exactly identical. But they were not even close. Paying what I did for the lack of service and quality of the flowers was a waste of money. But truly more than that was the fact that my daughter did not receive the flowers on her birthday and when she finally received the quality was poor. I could have paid far less and for a better flower arrangement had a local grocery store floral department do her flowers. read more

I give Carson City Florist 1 star for knowing that leather leaf is a cheap filler that when used in excess makes any arrangement look bigger. That excess, however, doesn't belong as a filler in a hand-tied wedding bouquet; It ends up looking like a vased arrangement with stems that are tied together. 2 weeks ago, I ordered a handheld bouquet, medium size, and a boutonniere on a Tuesday to be picked up Saturday. The wedding was on Sunday. I thought that would give them time to order special flowers that I couldn't get locally. I'm a former professional floral designer, and I expected quality from this business. I was very specific to the "floral designer" who was going to make it that I wanted PALE pink spray roses, small white roses, maybe freesia, snapdragons, and some other subtle flowers to go into this $100 bouquet; get creative I said. I showed her pictures of bouquets that looked on the wildflower side and asked also for eucalyptus and anything but leather. I also specifically asked for baby's breath to be in the bouquet. She insisted they used leather leaf "on the outside"--I said please use as little as possible. She appeared bored taking my order. Well, guess what: Saturday I got a vased arrangement tied together with blown-out roses with lots of leather leaf. All of the small PINK roses were fully opened and the larger white roses were blown out and starting to fall apart. Not much baby's breath. I was not happy. The older gentleman working insisted to me that white roses have changed over the years and this is what they look like now. Huh? No, this is what made on Wednesday and stuck in the walk-in cooler with varying temperatures for 3 days looks like. This is what cheap roses look like in 2 days. The $20 boutonniere was already blown open and by the time the groom wore it Sunday it looked like one of those flowers' clowns put on their lapels. Not sure if it squirted water. When I was waiting for the guy to grudgingly replace one of the roses because it was falling apart, I noticed the cooler full of arrangements that looked exactly like my bouquet! Maybe a funeral order? Same flowers! Money saver! To be clear: I refrigerated all the flowers when I got home. They simply looked a little bit worse by Sunday morning. My daughter was in tears--she trusted me to order the bouquet. I wish I had done it myself--Raley's has a better selection of flowers BTW. I picked up a dozen white roses from Raley's that looked beautiful for almost a week. White roses have not changed over the years: I hate when service people lie to cover poor work and product. I believe this florist does amateur work at best and is indifferent to paying customers. DIY read more

For what flowers cost your money is better spent elsewhere! Also, when I posted a comment about the disappointment of the service the owner deleted my comment and blocked me. Let me tell you all about the customer service at this florist! I found out last minute that I needed to send birthday flowers to a family member in Carson city. I quickly googled for a florist local to the area (I have had very, very bad experiences with other online florists). I found this one. I called their shop and explained my situation. I had seen an arrangement on their website, but unfortunately (it is saturday, after all) they did not have those particular flowers until next week. I was put on hold. The gentleman that picked up and took over to help me was amazing! He apologized for the shortage, but explained he could make a custom arrangement and then listed EVERY SINGLE FLOWER (and color!) He did have in stock! I kind of gave him an idea of what I wanted, and the colors I was hoping for. Just a few short hours later, I received a text that read "Thank you so much. These are the most beautiful flowers I've ever gotten. Thank you so much." Kinda Hard To Order Flowers If You Don't Answer Your Phone...Guess I'll Take My Business Elsewhere!!!

Very very upset about the flowers I ordered for my wife on Valentines Day. I paid to have a premium bouquet which cost $127 and it was not even close to worth it. I ordered 2 weeks in advance to insure it would be delivered on time and not put together poorly. I usually order my wife flowers 8-12 times a year and I will never use this florist again. As you can see in the pictures there are at least 8 flowers that are even bloomed and this is how it was delivered to my wife. This is unacceptable and extremely disappointing. read more
