I love this coffee shop. The atmosphere is amazing, with plenty of space in several areas within and outside near the dog park to the rear of the shop. Their service is spot on; prompt and gracious. My only issue was with the baked goods which are not displayed, therefore, you are ordering blindly. I ordered their bacon cheese scone. The taste was good but not what I had expected. Their scones are not real scones, they are muffin tops; not bad but traditionally speaking not what I thought I was ordering. That said I gave it a second chance and came back for a second round this time I ordered a blueberry scone. This scone was the same consistency as the first; muffin top. I finding hidden treasure! And Blake's is one of those...just not hidden...only a tiny bit off the highway. A coffee shop/Wi-Fi workplace/dog park! Yes! All in one. The workers were very sweet and helpful. The coffee shop looked very clean and the tables in front are super interesting planks of trees. I asked for a specialty coffee and they told me I should try the caramel French le Madeleine. It was fantastic. I really wish that I would've tried the blackberry white chocolate muffin. absolutely love this place! The girls that work behind the counter or so kind and patient. The owner is in every day checking in in everyone as well as having coffee. It's a relaxing coffeehouse vibe without stuffiness most give off. The dog park is a huge bonus, especially if you love seeing dogs without having to take care of them. read more

Great spot to have some housemade ginger beer and avocado toast. Soup and sandwiches are not bad either. We stopped here before a drive to the next town and got some avocado toast. The bread was like a baguette that was crunchy and soft at the same time. Perfect. The amount of avocado was a nice thick layer without taking away from the toast. The hint of lemon was nice. One of the better avocado toast I've had. The bread took it to the next level. The soup was vegetable beef and it was okay. The sandwichwas turkey with cheese and it was really good. Solid coffee after 5 days of hotel coffee. Tried to order online but couldn't figure out how so just went over and got the drip in person. Very friendly staff, seemed family run. Actually didn't see the prices on the menu for a drip but a large ended up being $2.75 so very reasonable. read more

We wandered away from the casino for an adventure and found ourselves at this quaint coffee shop. There's adequate parking and a drive thru. The girls working were friendly and patient with us as we were trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. The tea was quite good, the honey lavender was delicious. I asked what the soup of the day was and luckily for me they didn't have any but had the Mac and cheese. The coffee was fantastic too, I was making sure I was hydrated all around. The avocado toast was on point. It had a lemony taste with the seasonings on top that made it special. They also have free WiFi and computers you can use in another room. read more

Very nice little coffee shop with a great covered back porch. They offer free WiFi and sandwiches. It's a great place to sit and study or, like me, get some writing done. The coffee is really good and reasonably priced. I've been there twice to enjoy the porch as well as utilizing their drive-they once. Parking is limited, but adequate to the size of this shop. The staff is friendly and efficient. My order has been correct each time and come up quickly. This is a great addition to Durant and I will certainly be back often! read more

When it's good.... it's GOOD. It just depends on who is working. I am a huge fan of this coffee shop and it's definitely the best in town, but it is so inconsistent that I am done wasting money on coffee here. Some days there will be almost no flavor in my latte, and other days someone put WAY too many pumps to where it is undrinkable. The milk is often just warmed with a steamer and not properly made. I wish they would take time to either re-train the staff, or make guidelines for everyone to follow so that the drinks are more consistent. My days of coffee roulette are over and I'd rather have no latte than be frustrated while drinking a bad latte. I'll be back eventually I'm sure.... but I really hope someone takes this review and does something about the experience. read more

What I enjoy about Blake's Coffee Shop 1. The genuinity of the owner. She is personalable, honest and caring. She genuinely wants all other coffee shops in our community to succeed as well as hers. I have seen and heard stories of other owners bashing her as they think she is trying to impersonate their business. This has been done on social media and in front of their customers. To me the only one impersonating is the other coffee shop owner. She is impersonating a true Christian. I have never read in the bible to bully or just be hateful to people is a Christian thing to do. But that's my opinion and I am entitled to that. 2. The tea....let me tell you they are the best, and I am very picky with my tea! Most places use regular ole teabags pre-packaged grounds. Not Blake's, everything, even teabags, are made from fresh ingredients and packaged by the barista to your likening. 3. The pastries.... all homemade...again HOMEMADE not store bought pre packaged ingredients. Again all fresh made from scratch pastries. 4. The lunch specials....oh my they are excellent for a light lunch or snack if you're like me! Again homemade with all fresh ingredients not pre packaged. 5. The coffee....they have the best beans and equipment in town, period! Brand new top of the line espresso machine with a top of the line osmosis filtration system. That's the big difference. She thought of everything before opening the doors. She actually thought about us, the consumer. The machine is taken apart, quick process, and cleaned thoroughly, throughout the day. To me this makes the shop cleaner and a little more healthier. No mold or months of coffee in all the gadgets to get into your coffee. 6. The environment.... Very friendly and pleasant staff. All the barista's make sure you receive what you order and the coffee is hot not luke warm. Beautiful interior design. Wonderful patio. A very relaxing environment with genuine people. read more

We stopped here for a quick coffee and breakfast to go on our way from Dallas to Kansas City. The coffee was great. I had the peppermint mocha since tis the season and all - my husband had his normal order of medium roast, black (I say normal because this is what he orders everywhere - a medium roast and black). We also ordered some muffins for the road and they were also very good (banana and blueberry). My 6 year old daughter loved the banana and my 10 year old son was a fan of the blueberry. A good coffee spot with staff that is always upbeat and helpful. The shop itself is very cool with an outdoor area for people with pets and a drive through that I utilize most.
