My husband and I stopped here on our travels home to Tulsa for breakfast. First, I want to say our server was very sweet, she could not have been nicer. Having said that, this was one of the greasiest breakfasts I have ever eaten, i know my stomach will be unhappy with me later today...and I didnt east most of my omlette! The hashbrowns were drenched in oil and the omlette??? Well, the addition of pancake to the eggs does NOT make for a better omlette. A fluffy omlette need only have cream, half and half or milk added to the eggs and then whip it properly to make it fluffy. The pancake batter sucks flavor from the omlette and adds a grainy texture I don't like at all. Absolutely everything had a greasy film to it. I've been eating here late nights when I haven't shopped for groceries lately and can't get myself to eat at Whataburger or Jack in the Box. There is one person who's good at all that it takes for you to get fed here. That would be Roni but she is rarely here when I am and has only cooked for me twice since she's a server. Dalton is the other good cook. None of the managers are any good in the kitchen and can't attract good workers. The owner doesn't seem to have much to do with the place or maybe it would have a better reputation. As it is, the only thing this place has going for it is that it offers a convenient place to eat from a plate any time of day or night. The posters on the walls are not adding to the charm that you'd expect from a nation-wide chain. One in particular is absolutely inappropriate because it states that it's okay to reach across the table. It's promoting rude table habits. With Roni being the only good server and Dalton being the only good cook, your chances of having a great experience are very low. On top of that, I've been informed, by management, that the meals are only required to meet IHOP's minimum standards. My wife and I both ordered the same omlet. She ordered hers without poblano peppers. I ordered mine the way it is on the menu. It should have had salsa, sour cream poblano peppers, bell peppers, onions, cheese and chicken in it. When they came out, mine had chicken and cheese inside, and bell peppers and onions on top. My wife's only had chicken and cheese. After she complained, the waiter brought out a small container of sour cream, and , 15 minutes later, a plate of onions amd peppers. Initial serving of coffee quickly provided, but it was very small for two, and getting more was complicated.Ordered Belgian Waffle combo. Primary waitress very good, but too many others involved in service. One HUGE trayful of glass dropped at nearby table. Food came out slowly. Bacon was severely overcooked, and very small, we both laughed at how it looked. One teensy teaspoon of butter on top of my waffle and my wife's pancake. Syrup and butter came later - too much later. My husband & I live in Durant, & we have eaten in this IHOP on several occasions since it recently opened. On our most recent visit, the service we received was top notch from the moment we were greeted by the hostess until we left. Our server, Jake, went above & beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed to make sure that our breakfast was enjoyable & that his service was spot on. It is obvious that management at this location has made customer service a priority & that alone is worth stopping at this restaurant. This food is what you would expect from an IHOP. It is consistent & good. My one complaint is that this location does not offer rye toast, & both my husband & I really enjoy rye toast with our fried eggs. As long as they keep up the great service & we will keep coming here & keep telling our friends to come here, too. read more

All in all a great experiance. Coffee was a little luke warm, but still tasted good. I settled on the wheat pancakes. Nicely done. Used the pecan flavor and a touch of strawberry at the end. Hash browns were cooked just right. I added onion and pepper for flavor. Service was very good and staff was very friendly. We just arrivrd to Durant at about 1 am, so not a huge selection of places to chose from. If i go back i would definately go here again read more

Me and my family have been coming to IHOP since they opened. I guess Recently they are under new management and the whole entire wait staff is new and you can really tell. The service sucks so bad. My god has came out cold "twice" now. The floors are covered in food where they set us and so is the seats we are supposed to set in. The service is the slowest I've ever seen it. As I set here writing my review my waitress bring our drinks to the table covered in sweat and it's dripping on my table. Like come on really?! The food and service are good but the last few times I've been in this location the restaurant smelt like a barn. Not sure if it's dirty drains or something else making it smell off. I have eaten here weekly for months. I called in my order and was told it would be 20 minutes. I arrived and had to wait 45 minutes once I got to ihop. The service was horrible and the waiters were rude. I didn't receive the correct order and the food wasn't fully cooked. Never again! read more
