Who knew that Durant, Oklahoma, had a upscale restaurant? They just celebrated their 1 year anniversary. The manager helped us out first, Chandler. He took his time to explain the menu, answer our questions, and made sure that we had our appetizers and drinks. Grace was our waitress, she was attentive, checked on us multiple times and made sure that our table had whatever we needed. I was celebrate my birthday so it was a nice treat to enjoy the ambiance and really enjoyed all of their food for an appetizer. We shared the okra spears. The batter is really good, I do wish they were fried just a little bit longer, but that's just personal preference. I got there espresso martini to drink and it was made very well. For my meal, I tried the savory mushroom and swiss crepes and was even more impressed when I found out that that almost everything that they make in the restaurant is made fresh, including chopping the mushrooms and making the gravy. It was so flavorful and seasoned perfectly. I also got a side of fruit and I really enjoyed the pears and the apples. I also got a side of the truffle fries, and they were some of the best i've ever had. Of course I had to get dessert because it's my birthday. I chose their seasonal tart, which was a bourbon peach tart. The peaches were flavored really well. I added vanilla ice cream, and it took it to another level. The only critique I have is that the crust could have been cooked a little longer. But overall, my meal was exceptional. If I come back to Choctaw casino, I will come back here. Also above the restaurant, they have a boutique hotel. I definitely want to come check out a suite as well. Just so you're aware, they do charge an 18% gratuity. So be mindful when you're tipping, but we gave extra, because Grace did such a good job. read more

Let me begin by saying that the customer service and overall experience was FIVE STARS! You walk into a space that has an intimate charm to it and a menu that has some creative options. We got seated and Chandler came over to greet us. He made some suggestions and went above and beyond to make sure that our visit was a memorable one. Grace was our server and she made sure that our cups were never empty and plates didn't stack up on the table. We started with the okra spears. Whole pieces of okra that are battered and served with a ranch dipping sauce. Now this is totally about preference but for us, the okra needed to cook a little longer, especially the larger pieces, but the seasoning was on point. I got the meat lovers omelette and it came with potatoes however I was looking for something lighter. I was given options of truffle fries, sweet potato fries or fresh fruit. I opted for the fruit (slices of apples, pears, oranges). They use a thick cut bacon and I personally prefer my bacon cooked harder so there were some pieces that were chewy and not to my liking. I also felt that the eggs were cooked a little too hard. However with that said, everyone else at the table really enjoyed their food and as I mentioned we were checked on numerous times and I was asked if I wanted them to replace it (at this time I was almost done so no need for that). Everything mentioned in this review was also discussed with Chandler and I appreciated that he took constructive criticism as well as positive feedback well. Overall we had a great experience and we would definitely come back. Service levels here are unheard of for this local. Some of the best I've ever had for gluten-free vegan vegetarian any kind of allergy. These folks are very attentive. Gluten-free fryer gluten-free bread any questions they check immediately with the kitchen and heavy focus on making it happen. We visited this restaurant on 3/14/26 around 10:30am. The restaurant is gorgeous. Feels very high end, especially for the area. The staff treats you like royalty, even opening the door for you. You instantly feel like you are about to have a great experience, and we did. We ordered the blueberry basil and ricotta bruschetta for an appetizer and shared the Korean beef omelet with breakfast potatoes for our main. The appetizer was 7/10. The blueberries were warm, the cheese was creamy and the crostini it was served on wasn't too crunchy. That being said, I wouldn't order it again. I know the chef meant well when creating this but we just didn't feel like it went well together. The main was 8/10. I will forewarn you that it is a heavy dish. The flavors were great. The beef has a pot roast texture which threw us off a bit. All that being said, everything was exactly how the menu described it and along with that it was hot and fresh. Side note- they have a beautiful bar and a great dinner menu and we look forward to going back. Also their cocktail menu is the most unique I've seen in the area. read more

Wow, discovered this only last week - it's been open a year! Beautiful restaurant in downtown Durant - cool vibe with elegant dining room, jazzy playlist, seasonal artisanal cocktails, amazing food. Dishes show a nice range including steak, pork chops, red snapper and more. Side dishes were well-executed and desserts were delicious. Service was excellent, smooth, friendly and professional. Great things about this restaurant: * Hooks under the bar & tables for a handbag. * Great ambience with soft lighting (easy to read the menu). * Linen napkins. * Heavy upscale silverware. * Table decorations (live Freesia in a small vase + a real, honest-to-goodness candle!). * Live music on Friday night. * Social time, i.e., happy hour, runs between 4 and 6. Some of their great appetizers (think $$) are half price. We had the Lamb Chop Lollipops" -- scrumptious! Too bad there are only 3 cause we both could have eaten 2 more each. * Squash soup was awesome. * Filet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. * House wines are $5! And, they serve them in those normal wine glasses, which was a very pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the Salmon dish (recommended by our waiter, Aaron) was flavorful but overdone and very dry. IMHO, salmon should be cooked medium rare for optimal flavor. read more

This charming, upscale restaurant is located inside the boutique Brick street Hotel at 3rd & Evergreen in downtown Durant. The decor is lovely, with brass and crystal fixture, herringbone wood floors and stylish bar. The hostess was friendly and accommodating, and our server was knowledgeable and professional. Our food was cooked to perfection, nicely plated, and delivered faster than I expected for the number of patrons there. Such a treat in a small town! For brunch or breakfast, try the mimosas or the French press coffee (you get the entire carafe). They often have live music during brunch or weekend dinners. We love this new addition to Durant. Yes, it's pricier than most places in town but they are working hard to deliver elegance and class. The place is SO pretty! I attended a birthday dinner here a few nights ago, and it fell very far below my expectations. We did have a large party, but we were one of only 2 tables dining at the time. That being said, our entire meal here took 3 hours. I ordered the salmon, with pasta and mash potatoes. My salmon was fishy and lacked any other real flavor, and my mash potatoes were cold and had bits of undercooked potato in it. (Everyone else at the table complained of this) and the pasta was just Mac and cheese and I've had better at fast food places) My girlfriend ordered the salmon cakes appetizer as her meal with a side of Brussels sprouts, and she received the salmon filet, with Brussels sprouts and the Mac and cheese. We were confused because the server had read her correct order back to her. Another person at the table ordered a steak medium rare, when it came out it was overcooked and barely pink in the center. He sent it back, and when he received his replacement steak after everyone had finished their food, it was also overcooked and he just took it to go. Most people at the table agreed that we've received better food at Chilis. It was very disappointing after being excited to try this place. Maybe it was a bad night for them, I'm not sure. But I don't see myself visiting this place again anytime soon. read more
