While in town visiting my boyfriend's family, he mentioned he needed a new Carhartt jacket for work. We were directed to Blain's because apparently they have a huge selection of Carhartt, and they were not kidding! The Carhartt selection is huge! We shopped around after finding a new work coat for him, and I even found a coat that I decided to buy. The store really does have everything, and it is clean and easy to navigate. We also got some dog toys for much cheaper than we are able to get by us in the Detroit area. The best part was that we got all the way home before I looked at my receipt and realized the jacket I bought rung up for $10 more than the price on the tag. Since we don't have a store by us, I emailed and sent pictures of the receipt and tags to see if there was anything they can do. I quickly received a response, and today I received a $10 check in the mail from the store! I was not expecting that quick of a response and a company to make good on the issue even without being in person. We will definitely stop back in next time we are in the area to support a business that seems to care about their customers and their customer's money. read more

Went to Blaine's looking for a box of baseball cards that their website said they had in stock. Showed up and they weren't on the shelf, so I was a bit disappointed and also was not in the mood to ask someone to look in the back. Walked around for a few minutes wondering if maybe they were on an end cap, when a very polite young man named Nolan saw me and very calmly asked if I needed some help. I told him what I was looking for and he voluntarily went over to check the shelves himself. When he didn't see it he grabbed a manager and they went to find it for me in the back. They did all this without making me feel awkward or anything. Outstanding customer service, and I highly recommend. read more

The self service dog wash has gone up $3 since I started taking my dog here four years ago. I bring my own soap, and am literally washing my dog myself. Why is the price increasing so much so quickly? If the bath barn needs to make more money I suggest getting groomers to bring in more clients and gain more experience. Also maybe charge people with the really big, time consuming, drain clogging hairy dogs and extra fee. The customer service overall is subpar. I don't recommend. read more

While they have a great selection and huge inventory , it's the lack of help and cashiers that can actually run a register. It took ten minutes for the cashier to figure out a gift card. Then when she was ringing me up she double charged me in everything less than $5. So I did miss two items she double billed me on, I aren't over $400and after double checking my receipt I will never shop at this store again. read more

The store manager here she is very verbose, stand-off ish and rude to employees and customers. I was directed by the service desk for customer help and she was just yelling on the sales floor. Very poor interpersonal communication skills and horrible store management. Will shop elsewhere. read more

Although this store has lots of great stuff. I was disappointed that they are not making sure masks are being worn. They don't keep people at safe distancing. I watched from my car , hubby went in , and counted 6 people who wore masks . Of at least 60 who entered the building. However when you go to pick up an order that system is fantastic! They could label it better but the process was efficient. read more

5/5 2019-04-30 Blain's Car Battery - UPDATE - 5 STARS TO JOEL in JACKSON,. MI "I want to update my previous review Of Blain's Farm & Fleet and my experience. Although, I still believe the battery I bought was defective (it happens), I experienced another episode of it being dead and then starting on the third attempt today, April 30th. I called customer service at the store and explained the entire situation and that I wanted to come in that same day and have a new battery installed under the replacement warranty. When I got to Blains, Joel was ready with a new battery already out on the counter so I could see the date of manufacture. Joel was extremely understanding and we talked about a couple of things, other than batteries, and then he went ahead and replaced the old batter with the new one. As an aside, the new battery caused my car radio to lose it's code (it's a Honda C-V) and I had to re-set it. Because I'm stupid, I tried to reset the code in my garage without my reading glasses. After the 10th error message, the radio locked up forever. Since I have no tools, I drove back to Blains and Joel disconnected the battery for me so I could re-set the radio code. Perfect customer service. I can understand products performing more poorly today than in the past because the quality that used to be there is gone for the most part and we have to live with that. But, good customer service doesn't cost anything and is very much appreciated. Joel, at Blain's Farm & Fleet in Jackson, Mi gets s HIGH FIVE and a double fist bump from a grumpy old man who really did appreciate the way everything was handled. THANKS, JOEL!" read more

I like the store, it is like a large Tractor Supply store. It is easy to find what you need there with their computer put around the store so you don't need to guess stuff like parts for your cars. Though it is easy to find the stuff you want it is more expensive. read more

This is a great store. We love coming in and browsing through their seasonal sections. I must say that unless it's on sale or they a coupon for it their clothes are very pricey. We usually buy dog food from them and we've ordered online and used their drive up pick up and we've always been happy with the service. read more
