They rolled my wood table down the sidewalk, shoved mattresses across the floor without using the protective bags I provided, damaged antiques, and were generally careless. Walt himself complained about how much we had. His son now runs the business, and is generally in better humor, but not as skilled a truck packer. The good news is that they were generally nice guys. I would have preferred that they took more care with my belongings.

We had an after hour emergency at my elderly father's house and needed a plumber. The water was on…read moreto the outside faucet and when we tried to turn it off the handle broke. So we had to turn the water off inside. Aspen sent a wonderful young man to the house and he fixed the problem very quickly. He replaced the outside faucet and put a separate shut off valve inside so if anything happens again we won't have to shut ALL the water off. The ONLY reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because it was expensive compared to other places. We had a $99 service fee plus $225 to replace the faucet and add the shut off valves. But it was after 5pm and it was a last minute issue. Regardless the service was OUTSTANDING!

This was after it took them about a month to even get started. We secured financing for the work, but when the work started, a number of things we had discussed weren't what they were doing at all. We had discussed a jacuzzi style tub with jets and wiring going into the wall with that, and that is not the tub that we got. They offered to replace it, but of course, that was going to cost more. We asked to have a plumbing leak inspected and fixed in another bathroom, that we were then told we understood would be covered in the contract and financing that we had secured. Once work began, suddenly that was going to cost us more. What should have been a 2 week project at most that we called in June to have fixed, I'm writing on October 4th, and after waiting for 2 days being told the painter will "be there today" and holding my daily plans for that, finally he showed on the 3rd day. Now I'm left with an unfinished wall in the room they were projected to work on, and a gaping hole in my bathroom wall upstairs because as a disabled veteran on a fixed income that had secured financing for everything, I can't suddenly handle the surprise charges like putting the wall back together where they cut it out, despite a detailed discussion prior to the start of work that they would build an access panel into that wall. If you have work you need to get done, you're better off holding your pipes together and hoping the hard water we get locally leaves behind enough residue to eventually patch the leak itself than hiring these guys. Would not do business with again.

We found Mark and he came in and began catching the property up from the lack of care from the previous provider. He is such a kind person and began working our property. Awesome. Very pleasant interaction. An appointment was scheduled as promised, but when the crew turned up, they disagreed with the quote offered and also didn't seem prepared to do the work we had scheduled. They left and said someone would need to come out and give another quote. This second quote was scheduled, and no one showed up for the appointment or called to say they couldn't make it. When we called the company to make sure we had everything right, whoever answered literally hung up after gruffly asserting, "yeah, yeah I'll be out there tomorrow". No apologies or explanation... And he never showed, again. My trees were not cut and I've never received any more contact from the company. I'm sure they must do plenty of decent work, but I will never know. However, I think it's fair to point out you may schedule them for work, waste several weeks of time, and end up with nothing to show for it.
