My wife's mangled hands.
Wallace Z.

Went in to have some knives sharpened and my wife has cut herself twice in two weeks. At that rate, using the slice to blood loss ratio calculator.... I'm two months away from cashing in that 600k life insurance policy. Sharp as hell and getting richer! My girlfriend loves Blade Runner! The cost to have them sharpened versus the overall life insurance and community property gains is silly. Win, win. To drop your wife and add your stunner? Just head down to your Blade Runner. Straight up life changing! Customer service was good too.

My husband and I recently went to this shop when we were in Tucson 2 weeks ago. I was greeted by the owner, Eric. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and down to earth. There was a wide variety knives including kitchen, hatchets, katanas, switchblades, etc. The prices were extremely fair and of good value. The store was clean and well lit. Everything was labeled and the displays were grouped by types. This is your one stop knife shop. They have everything you could want plus more. If they don't have it, they will get it for you. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely make a stop in. Recommended!

Tikaani keeps you company while you wait for knives to be sharpened.

This place is an example of why supporting locally owned shops is so important. I went in on a Saturday at 10am to get some kitchen knives sharpened. It was a one-man operation, but the job was done in about 15 minutes. While I waited, the owner's awesome dog, Tikaani, kept me company. Tikaani has just joined the team after being rescued at a shelter two weeks to the day before my visit. The knives now have the best edge they've ever had, and all for $3.50 a blade. The quality, price, and awesome dog make me want to come back more often.

One of the knives i picked up. Spyderco Tenacious

Why buy online? I did a couple times before visiting this shop i admit. This one man operation has the knives just as cheap and you can hold and flip the knives in your hand before you make a decision. Its very helpful to talk to somebody that shows you comparable knives before you dive in. The guy is a knife junkie and obviously loves his job. He also helps out Law Enforcement and Military. I was very impressed. I went in to sharpen my EDC and came out with a Very Sharp Blade and two more Knives.

The Stainless Steel Mora Companion. This is 3 months into daily use on a farm & have yet to sharpen it. Don't need to yet.

Gallery Kitchen and Bath - Kitchen Remodel

Gallery Kitchen and Bath

(7 reviews)

Gallery Kitchen and Bath updated our kitchen which is open to the great room. The work was done…read morepre-pandemic and everything went perfectly. The backsplash was challenging as I used large 12x24 ceramic floor tiles with inlays of glass/metal/ceramic small rectangular tiles behind the stove and interspersed elsewhere. Their tile person was fanatic about making these inlays set at the same depth as the floor tile, and even cut and rearranged the sheets of small tiles behind the stove for a more random look. The cabinetry is perfect. The glass special cut bar that sits over the quartz countertop came out perfect too. We could not be happier with the results. They also fixed our remodeled shower floor (it leaked) when they hadn't even installed it. There was a change of ownership right in the middle of this project and the people who did our bath remodel dropped the ball. Gallery Kitchen and Bath (thank you!!) took the shower floor down to the base; repaired that so the water would drain properly, put in the correct drain, and now the shower is functioning as it should with no leaking. Yes, I knew what I wanted for each project and did not depend on them too much for design, but for construction and pulling everything together. We would use this company again any time. Highly recommend.

On 31 May 2022 I signed a contract with Gallery Kitchen & Bath, hiring them to remodel my kitchen…read more On that date I gave them a fat check to cover the cost of materials plus part of the labor costs. The job was finally completed on 23 August 2023. That is 1 year, 2 months, 3 weeks, and 2 days (450 days) to complete the job! I was told up front that it would take 12 to 16 weeks to build and ship the new cabinets. Other materials, I was told, are readily available locally. The 12 to 16 week window passed with not a word from Gallery Kitchen & Bath. Several more weeks passed with no communication. Eventually I received a message from Cody in the office giving me excuses but no further information. She said that as soon as she has more information, she will let me know. That statement turned out to be a lie! Several more weeks passed during which my new cabinets were shipped to Gallery Kitchen & Bath and stored in their storage room. Cody did not contact me to tell me of the arrival of the cabinets as she had promised. I continued to impatiently wait for information which never came. Phone messages went unanswered, e-mails went unanswered. I drove to their storefront during normal business hours to find the door locked and nobody inside. I thought they might have run off with my check. I filed a claim with the Registrar of Contractors. Filing a formal claim finally got the attention of Nicholas, the owner of Gallery Kitchen & Bath. We had a meeting with an agent from ROC, Nicholas, and me. At that meeting Nicholas gave lots of excuses and apologies and promised me that he would start work on my project as soon as he finishes up other projects. In the presence of our ROC agent, Nicholas looked me in the eye and told me that he plans to start working on my project around the first week of March, 2023. Once he starts working on my project, that will be the only project he is working on until completion. There will be no interruptions in the workflow for my project. That statement also turned out to be a lie! Five months, 1 week, 6 days (166 days) later the job was finally complete. Obviously, there were a few interruptions! One day after completion I received a message from Cody. She was in a hurry to get the final payment that I owed. Gallery Kitchen & Bath was in no hurry to work on my project, but they were certainly quick to demand my final payment. In fairness I must say that the work that was performed in my home was very good. The workers were conscientious, knowledgeable, helpful, and detail oriented. I have no complaints at this time with the quality of work. Because of the lies, horrible scheduling, and absence of communication, I would never recommend Gallery Kitchen & Bath for any job.

When I called to make the return, I was told I had three options. One option was to pay for the four separate shipping labels I needed to get at a cost of $248.14. despite the total of all four barstools was $623. The second option was that I can make one return per month as a member and since I wasn't a member, I could only do that if I became a member. The person on the phone said it's free to make the return but I had to pay $19.95 Plus tax to become a member in order to make that "free shipment". And I could only get store credit . The third option was that I could go to any carrier I wanted and pay for them to ship it back. None of these options allowed me to take it to any store as I was told there are no longer any stores. That was false. I also had to disassemble the one barstool that I had assembled, and I needed to make sure they were all wrapped up and placed back in the box in the manner in which I received it! That alone is a very special talent. Given that this is Presidents' Day weekend, and I wanted to take advantage of the sales that we're going on, they could not expedite anything such that if I wanted to use the store credit to now purchase a different set of barstools, the timing of their process would not make that happen. And we noted that the same barstools we looked at went up $50 per barstool from the pricing. It was the other day. The return process was that once they received the boxes in hand, they would take up to five days to review and determine if everything was satisfactory and then if it was satisfactory, it would be another 24 to 48 hours to actually get any credit. Basically we would miss the window of the sale. On the phone I was told that if they could see that the item was scanned, they would give me the credit early so that I could use the Sale pricing but then in my follow up on the email after having shipped the items back that was reversed. This is absolutely the worst return experience I have ever experienced in all my years of purchases in store and online. ! If there was a way to give zero stars I would. These people are absolute crooks !

I recently got the pleasure of working with Alisa at ProSource…read more I cannot say enough praise for Alisa and the employees at ProSource. In 2012, we went to ProSource for the first time and had carpet and tile installed. Two months ago after purchasing a home I wanted to find the same installer that I had used in 2012. I called ProSource and they were able to give me his name and the name of the salesperson that was assigned to the installer. Alisa at ProSource was that associate and from that first phone call; I felt like I had known her all my life. She was more than happy to make an appointment with me; during the covid-19 shut down. when we arrived they had you sign in just in case something were to happen later with covid-19 and they provided gloves and we had our own masks. We toured the sales floor and decided on carpet. Fortunately, Alisa had noticed that I had used my inhaler and inquired about allergies and I told her I had bad allergies. She asked if I was sure I wanted carpet and since I'd always had carpet I said yes carpet is what I wanted. we didn't place the order at that time because we had to get the measurements from the installer. About an hour and a half later I got a call from the installer. Alisa had called her and asked her; had "they talked to us about when installing laminate wood flooring"? Toni Flores of Flores Flooring...Tell me all the advantages and how easy it was to care for laminate and explain that it would look nice up against the tile that we weren't removing. I immediately called Alisa, we drove back to ProSource and Eliza found a very good quality laminate flooring that fit our needs within the same price range of the carpet. The floors have been installed and we are very very happy with them and again I can't say enough about Alisa's professional, knowledgeable service that she provides. Thank you Alisa!!!

When we pick it up we're surprised that the backing was cardboard, so no waterproof at all. They said it was especial order (since they don't have a warehouse, everything is special order: No returns). We decided to use it all over the house except in the kitchen and bathrooms to protect our warranty; so, our leftovers were higher than expected. When we tried to return the close boxes, they said again: no restock materials on special orders. I tried to explain the origin of the problem and Celia, the saleswoman just said: NO RETURNS ON SPECIAL ORDERS. And hung on me. My advise is to search for other source for materials supply.

What a wonderful experience with wonderful, professional people…read more We remodeled our kitchen at end of May. Arizona Cabinetry was the 3rd company we price and talked to. This is the best company to have your kitchen remodel by. They have quality cabinets, hardware, and countertops, with reasonable prices and a great crew of workers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their kitchen done right.. I so appreciated that Dan listen to what I wanted to have done in my kitchen and he made it happen at a reasonable price and quality materials. He saw my vision and made great suggestions but never pushed something I didn't want. There were time as the progress was going that I was in tears of joy with how it was coming together. I was so happy with the look, the people and job they were doing. Richard, Cesar, Raul and Martin installed the cabinets quickly and very effectively, even with a minor change that I asked them to do. They quickly did the change without making me feel I was wrong in asking. Great group of fellows that work so well together to get it accomplished. First tears of joy for how beautiful the cabinets were and looked. Miguel, Max, Jose and Victor were the crew that installed my granite countertops. I sort of made it a challenge for them asking that the largest counter not have a seam in it, but be a completely one piece. They did it so nicely. As they installed, the second tears happen for how beautiful it looked. Melissa took all my phone calls and answered all my questions I had, never me feel that any of them were trivial. I loved working with her, so easy to get along with. Only have one before picture. But what a change!

Just before the nightmare with…read morethe entertainment center debacle was about to start, I brought Sandra another client during the same time I was collaborating with her on an entertainment center. This new client I brought in I have just designed a beautiful new kitchen layout. They hired me to completely redesign their entire home with a budget of 350K, and they had moved out of their home. I would have been an amazing project with Sandra and I. I stated to Sandra we had around a 50K budget for the kitchen cabinets. Her price ended up being over 110K for just the kitchen only, no labor. I along with my clients were gob smacked by this number. Not once did she even try to save the sale or offer any suggestions of different lines. Looking back, I now fell she gave an outrageous number to blow me off and not to do another project with her. I ended up losing this new client that I truly needed, especially being new to Tucson. When I reached out to the client, he stated to me, "Your pricing is just too high for us, we are getting the cabinetry and kitchen you designed for us for 42K". Granted a different cabinet line and I am sure they made changes but still. I lost a 350K project over an outrageous number provided for cabinetry. Like the entertainment center project, I was disappointed in Sandra with her lack of concern and professionalism or trying to meet the client's budget. Two months later she wanted to bill me for using my drawings to put into the computer to present to them for the sale. I said that you will have to ask the client not me. I was not hiring you, they were. If you do not ask for a deposit or explain your charge to put my drawings into the computer this is not my fault, it is yours. So, no will never work with Arizona kitchens again, nor refer, nor do I recommend, which is terribly sad as they have a beautiful showroom much like my old one, but the service is just not there.
