They were recommended by my swim spa dealer, Turbo Spas in Dublin. The crew was easy to work with, professional and followed my instructions to the letter. I just want to give some feedback from what I have learned since because this will help others avoid the same mistake I made. After waiting 28 days for the concrete to cure I set my 12' swim spa and 8' hot tub on the pad. 6 months later my swim spa cracked on the bottom. I am not sure about this but I believe the spa cracked because of the control joints running underneath the spa because that is where the spa shell cracked. Lessons learned is never add control joints where a swim spa will be set. This was no fault of Swanson's, It was my fault for recommending control joint locations. All is well now because my swim spa was repaired and I have the spa floating on 3" of crushed rock and a spa pad. The spa pad and rock sit on top of 6" steel reinforced concrete.

Lucas and his crew really impressed us with their knowledge, ingenuity, work ethics and positive attitude. Their pricing is very fair and they go out of their way to save you money if possible. Work included: grading around house and yard, walkway around house to protect foundation, remove/replace front curb and front sidewalk, extensive driveway to detached garage, back patio, bbq area with attached fire pit/seating. There has been ZERO cracks or standing water! Impressive considering the amount of cement pored and grading issues. We wish we had more projects needing cement. The crew was a joy to work with!!

The problem is they blocked the whole sidewalk, so it is impossible for people to walk or bike without stepping/riding on the lawn. After stopping g by and asking politely the guy on a picture that they should leave a little bit of space for people to walk/ride by, his answer was, "the sidewalk is closed." Sir, there is no detour because it is the ONLY sidewalk there next to highway. You can't tell people with baby strollers or byciclists to go on highway. So, in this instance very selfish behavior and execution on behalf of this company. Next time, please think about all people involved and maybe organize a detour if it really necessary to block the whole sidewalk.

Las Palmas wasn't the least expensive of the three, but we felt very comfortable with Erik and his expertise at our initial meeting. He and his crew know what they're doing, make suggestions for better functionality, are flexible and easy-going, and to top it off are really nice people. We had a very specific, custom curved bench built by them and it was completed beyond our expectations. With any project during the pandemic, there were a couple hiccups/delays due to supply chain issues, but from start to finish the project took 2-1/2 months and we couldn't be happier. He helped me navigate the design phase, offering creative solutions and solid ideas that I hadn't even considered. During construction, Nick was incredibly accommodating. Even though it was clear he had a very busy schedule, he made a point to visit the site daily and was always available to answer my calls, which I really appreciated. The crew themselves were hard workers and clearly skilled in their trade. That said, with a project of this scale, I found that being a highly involved homeowner was necessary. There were a couple of instances where I had to step in to point out issues that might have otherwise gone unnoticed. Bid/Quote: They came, inspected the project site and gave a complete quote including the construction detail. Tiles in an outdoor patio is uncommon, so we had a lot of questions from the grading to rebar to water proofing to sealent to grout. FG answered all the questions and accommodated our requests to align with the tile vendor recommendations. Price competitiveness: We spoke with 4 paver companies. 1 didn't want to do Porcelain tiles+ Paver, 1 didn't meet our budget, job was too small for one. Project Management: regular site visits by the site lead. Eduardo is a gem. They helped us pick the right material, picked up the tiles, did the dry layout and kept us updated on the schedule Work site: Saul and his team were punctual, spotless at the end of workday and walked through every step of the process. As they were finishing I happened to mention that I was going to paint my house so they quoted me and I now got my house painted also. I highly recommend them. A few…read moremonths back, we noticed loose pavers on the stairs leading up to the house and larger-than-normal gaps between the pavers in other locations. I called Black Diamond and Chavalah and Ayla in customer support scheduled repairs within a couple of weeks. The finished backyard looks excellent and the quality of the construction appears high. Vanessa specifically provided excellent, white-glove service throughout the entirety of the project and was super responsive to all of our communication. We did have a number of issues arise with the crew (mainly excessive dust seeping into our house and trash being left behind on the neighbor's property line), as well as the accounting department (an accidental attempt at overcharging us), but Vanessa always did an excellent job of troubleshooting these issues and helping to guide everybody towards a resolution.
