Sand and dirt all over the fairway

Worst course I've ever been to. The grass is unwatered and dying, dirt is all over the course where grass should be, and the green is more dirt than grass. I hope they change their ways and take care of their course, but until then, I will not be back.

Alright so this golf course is still fun to play on. The prices relatively affordable and they also offer a military discount with proof of Military or Veterans ID. The staff are always respectful and courteous. I can express enough how friendly they are here. Most golf courses usually can be staffed with pompous people. The course itself is a full 18 holes. You can play all 18 or just 9 holes. The up keep with the maintenance of course a lot of folks who are pro players most likely would want to not to play on this golf course. But of course your preference and opinions. My opinion, I still have fun playing on this course. Sand pits, well all you have to worry about is getting out of San Augustine grass if you land in one that used to be a sand pit. You can crab all your beverages and food from the main building. After the 9th you can park your cart and take a break from playing. One thing I that I do like about this place you can bring your own Yeti like cooler that is empty. All you have to do is buy your beverages from here. Other wise you get a plastic bag with ice and your beverages. I wished you could pre-order your food prior to playing the 9th hope. That would save customers time and delay on the course if they are choosing to play through. On the 10th now, it's very short due to road construction on Kelly Lane. This place is close to my neighborhood and I really enjoy playing here.

Foreeee!

Worst course in America. It has been voted on multiple times and it has been voted worst course in USA for the last 5 years

Bad conditions. Fairway barely mowed. Was losing balls on the fairway. Also lot of potholes. Would avoid until conditions get better.

Cheap and lots of tee times. Because the course is really poor quality. You're getting what you pay for but you're not paying much at least

It's a horrible course and definitely not work what they charge. Fairways and greens need a lot of work just to get them playable.

This place has been around for a long time, but as a golfer, I would prefer to spend my time on the…read morecourse rather than at a venue like this. However, due to the heat and my limited time recently, we decided to make a reservation and give it a try. Honestly, we had a good time. We played a game against each other that was a bit like bowling, where you earn points based on where you hit the ball. We played three rounds of that game, as well as another one that was designed to mimic playing at Pebble Beach. Unfortunately, the more realistic game didn't appeal to us golfers, as we couldn't get a true sense of the flag's location, among other factors. We made a 90-minute reservation, but they literally shut everything down right at the 90-minute mark, which was disappointing because one of our group still needed to hit four more balls to finish the game properly. They offer clubs that you can use, or you can bring your own. The clubs provided have a peculiar feel, but they are easy to hit, which is likely their intention. The facility has three floors of bays. Some bays feature high tables while others have couches with tables. I'm not sure how to reserve each type, but I'm glad we got the couches instead of the high tables. I thought we would avoid the heat by going in the morning, but the way the bays are oriented, they actually get full sun during that time. As a result, you cannot use the screen at the mat because the sun shines directly on it. I would recommend going around noon or later to get more shade, especially during the summer months. As for the four-star rating, I have to mention a $12 per person fee for first-time visitors. While I understand it's a one-time charge, it still feels a bit off. I'm impressed with the technology, and I'm sure I will return in the summer months when I want to escape the heat for five hours. The place does show some wear; the couch cushions could use a refresh. We did not try any food or drinks, but a quick glance at the menu revealed prices that I found a bit high. I did see ads for what appeared to be a good family deal for just $170 during the summer, which would be a bargain. The mini-golf course on the main level needs some attention; it's uneven and not flat. Additionally, there are some issues with the main entrance due to road construction on Burnet, which would have been nice to know about before we arrived.

Food Service was great, however I feel ripped off on playtime. No secret your business is…read morestruggling, but if you treat your customers this way we won't come back. So we booked for exactly 10:00. Got there 9:50 and waited in the lobby. Got a text at 9:58 that our bay was ready. We walked about 20' to our bay and signed in. Then I noticed our clock started at 9:58 and our time started to run before our reservation time. I know it's just 2 minutes, but you are running off any future customer with this practice.
